Karnaphuli river bridge is a most important river bridge in Bangladesh specially it is linked bridge from chattogram city to south side of District and coxsbaza district, Bandarban District and teknaf, Ukhia, Patiya,Dohazari, Chandanaish Anwara, Banskhali, Maheshkhali, Kutubdia, Stakania, Amirabad,Chakania ,Lohagara thana.from these thana's area people can enter the Divisional city of Chattogram through the 3rd bridge of karnaphuli river bridge. It is almost one kilometer long from Bakalia to Karnaphuli thana area. It is very modern, strong, beautiful and 4 lane bridge. It is symbol of pride of south chattogram inhabitants.

Karnafuli River the largest and most important river in chittagong. This river originating in the Lushai hills in Mizoram State of India and fall in to the bay of bengal at the point of patenga. I had a deep connection with this river when I was in CUET. I used to go in its bank while I was depressed. It has different scenario in its different parts which makes this river so special. It has another form, the Kaptai Lake. Karnaphuli is the largest and most important river in Chittagong and the Chittagong Hill Tracts. It is a 667-metre (2,188 ft) wide river in the south-eastern part of Bangladesh. Originating from the Saithah village of Mamit district in Mizoram, India, it flows 270 kilometres (170 mi) southwest through Chittagong Hill Tracts and Chittagong into the Bay of Bengal.

It was an extordinary experience. There are many place to visit from Licu Bagan to Kaptai Lake. Most of the tourist places are located beside Kornapuli river. I visited Eko Park, Jumur, Navy Camp, Kaptai Lake etc. It’s a safe place to travel because this places are under by Bangladesh Navy, Bangladesh Army, BGB.

Karnaphuli river is the life of chittagong. I have had many river cruises on this river. One of the most enjoyable ride was from chandraghona to Kaptai. The small hills around. The small habitats of people. The tea estates. The ride was so different than others. Specially at night it gives a ghostly feeling . The river is at its prime at this place. The water flow is so powerful. It's a cherishable boat ride.
