Excellent location but huge traffic and parking issues. They have started free pick and drop by the parking cart, that is a good initiative. Some people complain about overcharge by NMC but still too much crowded because it is the only option as a moderate private hospital in south zone. Hygienic atmosphere, professional staff and facilities justify the fees. NMC Lab and radiology departments are not less than Agha khan's lab.

Today me and my friend diya khan diya also had a worst experience of visiting Dr.Najia Ashraf(Dermatologist). First she asked my friend about her problem and what had she treated for her acne.my friend sincerely answered that she had not visited any dr previously its her frst time.dr was constantly insisting her about what she did for acne.my friend said that she only used natural home remedies and the dr suddendly started shouting like a mad on her. Then on my turn first she asked me about my problem n my history consultancy to any dr..and as i said about dr batool she again started yelling that these all drs specialy dr batool n dr khuram are bloody fools, neem hakim.she was constantly using the word PAKHANDI (seriously even i dnt knw what does it mean) for all the drs and i was like what kind of language is she using about any one. What does she think about herself ! well i have seen first time in my life such an ill-mannered so called doctor.Any ways after tattling so much she gave me a prescription for about 50 different ointments/facewashes and 10 different tests sorry to say for a while i felt like i m a t.b r cancer patient.ASTAGHFIRULLAH. Than she called me to visit after 30 days and said if you will delay 30 days to 31 than don't come to visit me again.such a pathetic behaviour she had.I regret, if i had given that fee to any needy it could be more better than that non-sense Please i beg who ever wants or planing to visit her please for god sake.give that money and time to some needy it would rather be better than visiting her. A big NO to visit or recomend her to anyone

The National Medical Center is a hospital full of people. It is a place that is being run more as a commercial enterprise than healthcare. There are queues of vehicles outside the hospital and you can find a parking space about a kilometer away. Golf carts operate for such individuals to transport them to the hospital. Many consultant doctors for various diseases also sit in NMC. That is why the rush is more. The situation is better in the rest of the private wards. The staff is friendly and always willing to help.

National Medical Centre in DHA - 1 , Karachi is a modern hospital with new and advanced technology medical equipment. Although their charges are higher but they provide best and the possible medical treatment. Doctors are professionals and the medical staff is well trained , they are cooperative. However the outside Parking position is much disturbing , there is no proper Parking space for the visitors , traffic jam in this area is a horrible situation , Management needs to develop Parking lot soon.

Very Bad Experience With NMC. Experience with Dr Najia Asraf was the worst ever my Family had. She keeps telling how she is here and what it takes to be a doctor like that blablabla..... and she keeps her voice tone high as she is shouting.... What the hell. Why the patient here she doesn't listen or care... ! I think doctor you need a psychiatrist for your self or its a time for you retire.

Had the worst experience today at dr khalida khanum's clinic. My mom and elder sister went there and waited there for almost 2 hours, wait is not an issue but when my sister asked her assistant when is she getting in, the assistant misbehaved not only with my sister but also with my mom. These are literally the basic manners which she obviously lacked and she clearly asked my mom to leave.she was rude, loud and did not sound educated at all . I am very disappointed in this behaviour, had a similar experience in dr maria skin specialist clinic as well. NEVER EVER going there nor recommending anyone to go there. This hospital is useless now, only focuses on looting money while their staff even lack the human decency.

NMC used to be a good neighborhood hospital but it has become worse since couple of years. OPD services are very unprofessional and doctors never come on time. OPD staff is highly un professional and rude. NMC is becoming a third class hospital and OPD services are a nightmare.

The most senseless butchers are found in NMC. Except Dr Khalida Nasreen no one is capable and sensible to treat their patients. They are just there to make money. Urologist Dr. Ishrat Saleem sb asked my father for CT scan to locate a kidney stone. But 2 weeks later he again asked for CT scan. But it is criminal to have two consecutive CT scans unless there is a gap of three months coz of the exposure of dangerous radiations. I wonder how senseless he is to endanger lives of his patients.

Very expensive and runs the hospital by private doc not by Nmc management. They can't take decisions or amend doctors rules .we have an appointment with doc Humaira on Saturday afternoon.she mentioned several test to be taken than she can write medication.today on Monday right after 1 day went for test and all .Once all test done at Nmc doc PA demand for fresh slip. It's an matter of 2 days 'mostly in all over Pakistan doc are checking on same slip within same week.once we approached to Mr imran admin incharge.his sympathy was with me but he was pearlised to makes comments. He mentions clearly this hospital is manage by doctors not nmc management...pethatic behaviour of doctors and creating theirs rules to slaughter the patients...don't go there if you have halal money...jazakallah

I love the doctor who saw me. The hospital is clean and tidy. Love the nurses here. The Only thing is that the hospitals here need to create a system or application where the patients can see whose coming in the next 10 patients. The patients could either receive a text message or a call. Everyone will be saved from germs and no1 would have to waste their precious time waiting at the hospital. Just an advice or suggestions specially for the seniors since my parents can’t sit for too long. May Allah keep everyone safe and sound in these difficult times. May we take care of each other & love one another. Love can conquer everything!!!

NMC ( National Medical Center ) The hospital is equipped with many latest machines and expert doctors who are reliable. The staff is cooperative and the hospital is extremely clean. However, their children's ward needs a lot of improvement. At least make some space for the mothers to sit comfortably. National Medical Hospital in Karachi, city top doctors are available here for Gynecology, Physiotherapy, Orthopedic, General Physician, Cardiac, Neurologist, Urologist, and Dermatologist. Excellent location but huge traffic and parking issues. They have started free pick and drop by the parking cart, which is a good initiative and facility. Bad experience with dr Lubna kumari. She is greedy My wife was diagnosed with high SGPT 300+ we did 2 tests one from Dow lab and then complete abdominal test from AKU which was similar and overall liver was ok. As we were confused and wanted senior and expert doctor who can guide us well so we approached dr Lubna Kumani at national hospital Kalapul. What she did was she wrote so many tests which were not relevant and didn’t pay attention to the case. However , we didn’t sit any test and waited for natural process to show down sgpt as normal doctors suggested. As a result , Alhamdullah reports were normal . So avoid visiting her and if there is a need, must keep an eye if she writes unnecessary tests. Being doctor is a pious job from Allah so I would request all experienced doctors to treat deserving patients well with least medical treatment as required. Instead try suggesting them natural ways to overcome . Grabbing so much money from patients won’t help you being contented even if you buy Luxuries for example home, car and international visits. Only their prayers can make you happy and give you success in both worlds…

NMC hospital offers high-quality doctors, but there's room for improvement in managing patient flow and implementing SOPs to reduce wait times for individuals traveling long distances. Implementing better checks and balances on doctors could enhance overall patient experience.

Lets start from the parking shall we? Parking here is a huge issue, Since it's a well known hospital then they should had made enough space for people to park freely. If you will get in the building it is super crowded after sunset. Specially the counters to be honest I seriously felt the vibe of a crowded fish market rather than being in a hospital.

Good and clean hospital, staff and specialist doctors are also good but fee of doctors are very high. Parking is big issue there. Doctors punctuality is also an issue. But all doctors are very qualified and professional and well trained supported staff and well equipped facilities also best so fee can be justified. Hospital is well design and clean hygienic environment. Laboratory and pharmacy are good too.

Not in a medical center but in a commercial building to rob people. I did tests and they said that there were stones, but during the operation they did not find any stones, only pain and loss of money. When they brought me to the rest room, a small, narrow room and the bathroom without liquid soap or tissues, even water, they did not give it to you and food, even though it was the amount paid Approximately 70,000 rupees and every 5 minutes the nurse comes and asks you to leave because your time is up, knowing that I am still drugged and sick and the amount paid for a whole day.

Never ever go for OPD, the doctors are don't even listen to you completely, they don't explain you your condition. You will wait hours for your turn like government hospitals even when you're paying so much. And after a LONG WAIT they will NOT EVEN LISTEN OR EXPLAIN. In fact quite recently, not even a month ago. I went there for my asthma conditions as there emergency suggested me DR. NASIR HUSSAIN, trust me he is the worst doctor I have ever met. He was rude and wasted time in irrelevant conversation, he took it too far even after my continuous suggestion that he should get to diagnosis, that I ultimately had to leave and then go to other hospital. In short, National Medical's OPD IS THE WORST.

However, their children ward needs a lot of improvement. Whoever will stay with their child will not get a place to even stretch their legs. The beds are too small only for a child to lie down. Obviously with children somebody has to stay. At least make some space for the mothers to sit comfortably.

First admitted at NMC for stone removal by Urologist who placed contaminated stent and 2nd time admitted for stent removal. Then got Kidney infection and it was found that all the stones were there. Again admitted for 8 days for Kidney infection which became worse due to incompetence of infection doctor at NMC. During admission, I found staff untrained and nonprofessional. They have pricked so many times in both of my hands that swelled them. I complained many times that broom and viper is placed in the semiprivate room over for which I got the response that it is the last room so they keep them in the patient room. Once I caught the staff giving me wrong BP medicine by the shape and form of the tablet. Resident doctors are just time passing they even cannot decide removing cannula or not. Regularly, a lady will visit your room to ask you for any complaint as a formality and if you tell her the genuine issues she will just listen and move on. Medicines and blood tests are done unnecessarily and sometimes these are charged even if you are not given any dose. To conclude, this is not a hospital. It is a slaughter house for making bucks at the cost of patient health and safety. Their primary objective is to make the admitted patient stay longer for financial gain and in this way they play with patients' lives. To share my experience is to make others beware of NMC objectives. May Allah protect all of us from such hospitals. Ameen.

Over crowded hospital.... Pathetic service regarding OPD... Hospitals should give appointments on the phone but they ask to visit early in the morning and wait to get an appointment (which you usually do not be able to get as only 20 patients will get an appointment) 2,3 hours prior Doctors clinic timings....The hospital might think that patients are healthy people who can sit on those pathetic chairs for hours just to see the doctor for hardly 5 mins.... And the cherry on top is that there is no proper seating arrangements... Highly disappointed...

Everybody should avoid going there. They are butchers and slaughtering the public at large specially those who visits first time. We had a very bad experience with Dr Nasir Hussain Pulmonologist who is big fraud and has a very rude behaviour with patients. When patients are going to pay bill, the bill made by NMC will give you heart attack, so I suggest everyone to not go there. I request Sindh health commission to take action against them.

Unfortunately, I have to update my review here. It seems that NMC has become a money making machine for their owners only. It seems that they don't prefer their middle class patients now. They are there only for their elite class and rich patients only. Earlier, there used to be separate parking for both cars and bikes and now they don't have any proper parking facility for bikes and motorcycles. In peak hours it is very difficult to pass through NMC service road. They have started blocking the service road by parking cars of their doctors and patients. Not only this, entire hospital and streets are now crowded with elite class guards and their vehicles and no one is paying any attention the hurdles created by these vehicles and guards for the road and traffic. Being in the center of the city, this hospital can be a blessing for many patients and emergency cases, but due to poor management this hospitals is now causing a trouble for many others.

I had my worst experience with Dr. Zeenat Eva Khan (Gynecologist) she was extremely rude, harsh & misbehaving. She asked me irrelevant questions and dint like me asking her about details (my queries). I had taken my appointment weeks earlier still had to wait for 2 hours with my mother for my turn in the morning. There is no punctuality and professionalism. They dont know how to deal with their patients with understanding, care and politeness. The doctors really need to educate themselves & learn ethics. Hopistals and doctors these days are just money making machines. Will never visit there again and recommend the doctor and hospital to anyone. Literally Pathetic!! Wasted my money and time.

This hospital is always crowded. The management staff needs more training on how to treat patient and their guests. Almost every staff of this hospital is rude. They have very less space considering number of service they provide. i.e., their laboratory is so small that the person in need of test have to wait outside if there is another person is inside for test sample ( and this is pre-covid condition). They have worst doctors and nurses in emergency department. Parking is another major issue if you own a vehicle. Would recommend other hospital if you have no emergency.

A reasonable hospital for the residents of korangi and DHA. However, management has to increase hospital capacity considering the current requirements. We are currently experiencing difficulty in finding a space in ICU, Semi Private and Private Rooms. Furthermore, the patient attendants are unable to get the parking space but administration has started a shuttle service from the parking areas.

The hospital is always full of people and no one guide where to go. Please arrange more doctors in order to avoid the machli bazaar every time in NMC. Much better and economical hospitals are: 1. Medicare 2. Altamash 3. Park lane

They have a wide range of doctors but their services are good but at the same time frustrating too.. Especially if you get admitted here 1. Their billing department is extremely rude.. if you delay their payment even a single minute they will call you and will threaten you telling you that will stop your patients services no matter how serious he or she is.. apart from this mostly their rooms are available but at the time of booking just to get more money out of you will always say all room are fully booked.. you have to wait and then they will offer you the VIP room with extra charges.. 2. Their canteens are very small and i don't find it hygienic.. I don't know if they have a quality department or not.. but this needs to look at it on the most urgent basis Apart from this their emergency department is extremely good and responsive.. Over all they need to upgrade their hospital..

A patient visits you with their problem, not to get insulted by a doctor. Najia ashraf, who is a dermatologist really needs to get schooled on how to talk to the patient. Stop acting like a witch and work on your attitude. This won’t get you anywhere in life believe me. Again I hope the owner confront her because she’s not doing her job like she should. Leave your anger and rudeness at home! Be a better human!

I had a positive experience at this hospital. The staff was attentive, and the medical care my father received was excellent. The doctors were thorough in explaining the treatment plan, and the nursing staff was compassionate and professional. The cashiers were one of the nicest people I've met. The facility was clean, and my father felt well taken care of throughout his stay. We came here asking for details and they explained throughly and the next day his operation was done. I would recommend this hospital to others seeking quality healthcare.

Their night staff in emergency is so helpful and concerned about their patients and always make sure that they leave well treated. The atmosphere, their behavior and treatment towards their pateints is on point! Highly Recommended!

Money taking machine. I went there for a surgery so they did my corona test and anti-bodies test. Anti-bodies was negative but corona was positive without any symptoms. They charge me extra for staying in corona ward. Corona ward doesn’t even had a bell or phone for calling the nurses. I was totally helpless in corona ward after my surgery. After 2 days I got discharged from the hospital and went straight to Chugtai Lab for corona test and it was negative. Totally non-professionalism for NMC. They don’t think about patients just want money. This my sisters experience.

This hospital is good for several reasons especially the faculty of Doctors they have. But they are not maintaining healthcare standards for OPD patients..e.g. No hand sanitizers are installed outside OPD clinics and waiting areas.

Today went to OPD to see a doctor with my mother @ in evening, they gave us 15 number and it's 8:30 we are still sitting in asle with pathetic management who doesn't call a number but names at their will.... on inquiry they have standard replies like abhi 11 number hai thora waite kar..... They are constantly using their phone and managing the numbers at their will. Charging Rs. 2,000 with pathetic and irresponsible service like we are happy to sit in I'll managed lobby.

Overall NMC is best. When I compare it with Aga Khan & South City. The price and facilities are same, and the same doctors are available at NMC,whom we pay higher at AKU & South City.

Rude endoscopy staff. The lady in the endoscopy lab shut the door on my face when I asked her about who to talk to for a CT scan. The authorities at national medical center need to learn that patients are your revenue. Shutting the doors on Thier face is shutting the door on revenue. And lacking bedside manner is nothing to be proud of. Lady in the endoscopy lab, client facing job isn't for you.

It is a very narrow place, wherever you go there are long queues. Doctors are also less and one has to wait in line for a long time. Security people are non-cooperative. Security people are very bad. It is a very dirty hospital. There are rooms for rich people to enter, everything is for defense people۔
