An average experience overall, having stayed in many other 4 & 5 star resorts in Thailand over the years, I can tell you this place is not up to the expected 5 star standards. Thai service is always going to be good so I have no complaints over the staff or how we were treated, they were busy but alway courteous and helpful. My main issue is the price point and 5 star status feels misleading vs the experience provided. The rooms and facilities are dated, very basic and in need of refurbishment. While the expected amenities are available, the facilities are more akin to a mid-range hotel than a premium Thai resort. I started out in a Deluxe Double Room but it was basic and offered little privacy so I upgraded to a Deluxe Suite for the duration of the stay, this was broadly the same experience albeit larger with a couple of extras like bathrobes, which I would expect as standard in all rooms. On the last night the hotel held a private function closing off part of the resort to guests and with loud music that could be heard until past 11pm showing little regard for hotel guests. The food in the restaurants and breakfast was good with a wide selection to suit all tastes. Again, I am comparing this to other 5 star experiences in Thailand, if this were a 3-4 star hotel at the appropriate price point I would feel little justification to provide this feedback…but it is not. In summary, my view is that this hotel does not represent good value for money at a price point much above £100 per night, there are much better options available. In addition, the issue with brown water mentioned by other reviewers does not appear to have been solved which we experienced on the last morning.

Pros: Private beach, views from the room, excellent pool, free parking, breakfast buffet was OK. Cons: AC was either ice cold or non existent. The beds were incredibly lumpy and you are provided a pillow for a mouse and a gigantic square pillow. The bed is advertised as king, but both our feet hung off the front of the bed. Even though this is a "resort," you cannot charge anything to your room. You pay for the entire stay at check-in and an up front deposit into an account or you need to carry your credit card with you everywhere. The wait staff was not very helpful and somewhat rude. The electricity went out three times while we were there (imagine being in the elevator). It is far (20+ minutes plus) from the closest attractions and 45 minutes from the main tourist area. Despite coming and going several times, the parking attendant (same person) would stop us upon entering and ask if we were guests repeatedly. There was no coffee or tea in the room at this "resort." The $25 dollar per person evening buffet was constantly out of the popular items, and upon bringing it to the staff's attention, would not be restocked. The only drink available was Coke Light and anything else, including coffee or tea, was extra. Despite being advertised as such, these are not 5 star accommodations.

I am so proud of my choice of booking this place for our honeymoon. It was expensive but the private pool villa is worth an experience. It was smooth check in process, for 3 days the staff made sure all are needs are being met. Even if you step out to cross the road, there is a guy who hauled the cars and make sure you cross safely. These are some really sweet generous gestures. Squeaky clean linens, amazing food, a bar overlooking the ocean, private pool, private beach, snooker, infinity pool restaurant what else do we need? The rain made everything better.

We stayed at the pool villa which was a few steps away from the beach. We had a private pool too. It is a perfect room for family with small children. The children enjoyed playing on the beach, the water was so clear, we could see the starfish! The food for breakfast were good, but limited options for us as they were not halal. According to the staff the food were halal however I am not sure whether the chicken were really halal. Hence, we did not consume them, and opted for breads and pastries. However there are halal cafe/restaurants right across the hotel (walking distance) - Panwa Cafe and an Indian cuisine.

Cannot speak highly enough of the hotel, staff, food, cleanliness and views. Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. All staff from front line, domestic and maintenance were so friendly and cheerful. Quiet location and stunning private beach. Highly recommend and would certainly go back

Amazing resort, amazing employees! Especially Kate was so nice, friendly and professional! She was taking our orders every morning when we were on quarantine, and when we were dining at the buffet for breakfast. She was so attentive. Very impressed with her customer service! Also hotel manager William and all the front desk personal is very good and professional! We initially booked for 1 week, but got tested positive for Covid so we had to quarantine for another week. Hotel manager William for so nice and understanding, he moved us to a villa, so we have more space and outdoor area for our dog to walk….oh, and incredible view. Hotel staff always made sure we had what we needed, we had an awesome stay and now we are continuing our crazy world adventure!

Nice hotel with some issues. For example the waiters at the pool are quite slow serving drinks. 20 minutes to get 2 drinks is too much. This happened every day for the 3 days we stayed in. The shower did not drain water properly and flooded the bathroom. The buffet dinner is not good. Tasteless food. Some TV channels don’t work, like HBO for example. The breakfast on the other hand is really good, the rooms are nice, big and the sea view is beautiful. I would rate it 4 stars, service is not at 5 star level. I would probably come back to this hotel if service improves or price drops.

We stayed at this wonderful hotel the week of April 22 for the sandbox program. The ocean view rooms were clean and excellent! The staff provided amazing service. They were so helpful in booking trips and providing destination ideas. Also they were very acomdating with all of our covid restriction questions. We dined at or ordered from all of the resort restaurant options, they were delicious. Our family will return someday for another stay. We highly recommend this resort!

Overall experience is good. The hotel app is easy to use and can request room service directly there. The receptionist when I first checked in is super nice. I ordered room service couple of times and requested amenities from the hotel app which is convenient. However, I think the room amenities and hotel facilities are quite limited. Warning, slippery floor when it rains. May need to be careful for elderly. The room access with outdoor corridors is not my style tho, but the balcony is nice with good view. I have a mixed feeling for staff service, experienced both nice and just so-so staff.

We had the best stay ever at Pullman Phuket Panwa. We chose the hotel as our wedding location and stayed for 3 nights. We even got an upgrade to a pool villa and were beyond happy. The whole process of planning the event went smoothly from start to finish. The whole staff was so kind, attentive and friendly, they really made us feel special and at home. We can only recommend to everyone to stay at this amazing hotel and get in contact with the lovely people working there. Thank you for everything!

What a wonderful experience in Pullman Panwa Beach Resort with my wife for 10 days, and first time in Phuket. A warm welcome, the quality of services, hotel location and a friendly staff are key elements to guarantee peaceful holidays (and everything was super clean in our villa, but also in this resort). Even if you encounter a problem with anything about your stay you can be sure this staff will see to making everything perfect. I will definitely be back, with my friends and family. My partner and I went to Thailand for the first time last year and stayed at the Pullman. The rooms were beautiful, the hotel was fabulous and the food was amazing for each and every meal. The hotel was so spotless and the staff were more than attentive and simply couldn’t do enough to make our stay enjoyable. The massages were some of the best I’ve had and I’m in awe of every aspect of the service. We loved it so much that we’re planning to go again sometime! Thank you to everyone at the Pullman, your service was simply incomparable to anywhere else we have visited 😊

The hotel was really stunning, felt like the scene from Hollywood movies. We were there as an anniversary trip, "May" at the front desk congratulated us super sweet. "Karla" escorted us to the room and ordered us some dessert for Anniversary, very kind of her. The housekeeper did a really great job on decorating the bed with roses. My husband was crying when he saw that. The spa receptionist, forgot her name, was so professional. She recommended the spa package very well. The spa therapists, "Ya" and "Bee", did the best job ever! The restaurants was all amazing. Breakfast was so variety, we enjoyed your breakfast a lot. The Thai restaurant on property was also nice. Pineapple fried rice was incredible delicious!!! This stay is 1000/10

My wife and I traveled through Thailand and this was our last stop for the rest of our honeymoon. We were warmly received by hotel staff and upon entering our room were surprised with a small arrangement of desserts with flowers on the bed. That night we tried the seafood buffet expecting freshly caught food, however it was quite disappointing with the food either old or flavorless. Upon eating the shrimp it seems either uncooked or rotten and spoiled my wife’s appetite for the evening. We did mention this and were refunded, but soured our tastes for any more of the hotels buffet nights. The breakfast however was quite good with a variety of Thai and western foods. The Pullman in Bangkok had a much better quality and variety of food setup. The beach side of the hotel for lounging was quite nice- plenty of seating, multiple pools, and a great view of the bay. Pool side service was a bit on the slow side and we were waiting about 30+ minutes for a drink occasionally. One thing to note about the beach is during low tide it is unusable since the bay is quite shallow. Overall, it’s a very nice hotel, however I would have subpar expectations on the quality of food.

LOVELY SUNDAY BRUNCH WITH DELIGHTFULLY ATTENTIVE SERVICE! Just enjoyed a pre-Christmas Sunday brunch at Edge Beach Club, Pullman Panwa Hotel. The serving staff were so attentive; our glasses were never empty and our finished plates disappeared quickly. The roast beef (my personal favourite) was succulent and delicious, the seafood fresh and plump. A freezer with 6 flavours of ice cream completed the sweet choices perfectly. I would definitely book this again!

You need to be highly commended for your staff choices. The level of attention and professionalism was remarkable. From your traffic guards, front of house, reception staff, bar staff. Special mention to Kaew and her breakfast crew (simply wonderful). As well as Ann and crew from the edge bar. We had a memorable time away which was greatly enhanced by all of your wonderful staff. Even your hard-working ground staff were courteous and friendly. A truly exceptional staff experience I rated the experience 9/10 as some of the fitting were a little tired and could probably be improved. The beds were lumpy but comfortable. Thank you once again for a fantastic stay.

stayed for 8 nights in this beautiful hotel resort. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxed resort then this is the place for you. Rooms were large, clean and very comfortable large bed. Air conditioning worked really well. Breakfast was incredible with range of foods to fit all tastes and diets. Staff were all very helpful and welcoming at all times. Pool areas and beach area beautifully maintained with plenty of seats and always not far away there will be a member of staff asking if you need anything or just checking that everything is ok. Would return to this hotel without question.

I am traveling with my son who is 18 and we are both absolutely delighted with the Pullman Hotel. The location is fantastic and provides you with perfect peace away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The rooms are perfectly equipped and comfortable, especially if you have taken a room with a sea view, you will wish not to leave it. The breakfast buffet is excellently organized and offers a huge selection of food for everyone's taste. The selection of breads is insane!!! The pools are perfectly positioned, the private beach is beautiful and you really don't need to visit other beaches in Phuket besides this hotel one (I'm telling you this from personal experience, because we spent one day at Freedom Beach...wasted money and wasted time without any service provided even without the possibility to rent deckchairs). And at the end a few words about service in the hotel - All hotel workers are very well trained and organized, here I congratulate the hotel management for setting very high standards. Everyone is smiling and nothing is a problem for them, absolutely nothing is difficult for them to do in order to provide you with perfect service. This level of service truly epitomizes 5 star service. I give 11/10 for all hotel workers.

Went there for a wedding this past weekend and the service was great. Good food lots on the menu. Clean room great food and shuttle picks ups. View was amazing and the staff are very lovely and helpful. They also have exercise classes in the pool and on the beach. I hugely recommend this hotel.

We had a great stay at the resort which was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and impeccable service. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, and our villa was spacious, beautifully decorated and had an amazing private pool. Two spacious pools by the beach were inviting to relax, and the bar next to the pool was serving all the amenities with expertly crafted drinks. The beach itself was nice, and it never felt crowded. The Christmas and new year buffets at the beach, were perfectly organized and we enjoyed our dinner and drinks together with a live band and a fascinating fire show. The breakfast buffet was also extensive with a variety of options. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience at Pullman Panwa Beach Resort. We had the privilege of having the hotel manager, Daniel, as our point of contact during our stay. His kindness and attentiveness truly made a difference in our experience. He was always available to assist with any requests or concerns and went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this resort, not only for their luxurious amenities but also for the outstanding leadership and service provided by the manager.

Best beach hotel I've ever been to during my 7 years in Thailand. Beautiful and well-maintained facilities, excellent service, 24 hour gym, free beach activities, always an available lounger at the 2 pools, good food and great value for money. I will definitely be back.

Amazingly tranquil, lovely hotel that is in a quiet private part of Phuket island. Staff, food facilities were all top notch. Awesome breakfast and room service! The beach is quiet, private and in a cove so the water was calm. We spent our anniversary here and would do again, it was perfect!!

The location is very good for being always inside, but is really far the resort from all other places like Pa Tong Beach or the airport. The rooms are very good, I quit the last star because shower flood all the bathroom floor under the glass door each time you use. To sum up, it is a special place to stay apart from all the busy Thai cities. It is quiet and relaxing.

What a beautiful resort. Picturesque at every point. Our room with sea view and balcony was a dream. Excellent condition and beautifully cleaned every day by great housekeeping staff. Facilities and activities were amazing. Activities staff so friendly and joyous. Food was bountiful and extensive in range. Staff always going above and beyond. Really well run by William who was highly attentive and responsive. Great Thai hospitality. Thank you very much for a memorable long awaited break.

We have had the pleasure of staying here for an amazing three weeks for our honeymoon. My wife and I were very well looked after by Boo, Aun, Sun and Hi. Their service was faultless! The team on reception were also really friendly (especially Tee who brought us to our room!). We had a coconut scrub in the spa to start our holiday and it was amazing -excellent value for money. The food we had was all beautiful. As a side note - there aren't many vegetarian options listed on the menu, but they will swap any meat in dishes for Tofu- so there is plenty of meals to try, all you have to do is ask! Our new favourite dish is a Spicy Egg Salad - so simple but YUM! We would also recommend ordering a Mango Smoothie with Rum. Delicious! Only issue we had was with the mini bar in our room. We upgraded to a garden view villa (stunning room) however the mini bar was empty - there is a sign saying if you'd like to have it filled to ask. We asked and were told that the mini bar is classed as room service and we would have to pay for each item individually- not exactly all inclusive.

Unfortunately we stayed at the same time of a big tourists group came by buses. The hotel did not extend the breakfast stations to support the group therefore it was too crowded. We had to leave and find other places for breakfast. The hotel itself is quite older than photos yet still clean. We were disappointed by the way of talk while checking in at reception. The only good impression was at the bar with very nice staff and good wine.

A fantastic stay at this resort. The staff friendly service from management to floor service, greeted smiles, cleanliness of resort and customer focus to help us in anything at the Pullman Panawa Beach resort. William the manager assisted with top cover added for mattress comfort and confirming Central Phuket festivities mall taxi. The Thai staff all welcoming me and my family to Thailand and provided the wow factor customer service those I can remember Boss,Tee, May , Thomas and Monica. I had the most wonderful stay here, such a beautiful resort with the most amazing and attentive staff. Everything here is absolutely amazing and well run. This resort was wonderful. It gives on a private beach with hot waters, includes 2 very nice pools with a bar in one of them, has multiple restaurants serving Thai as international food and drink (with quality) and last but not least had an adorable staff always there to help you. I really recommend if you want to explore Phuket quietly, but not too far from the fun of the island.
