Amazing place to stay, and we were here in low season. Nicest room we have had the whole trip, and we stayed in many places throughout Thailand. Perfect place to end our trip. Lovely warm staff, beautiful views, calm and peaceful atmosphere, and spotlessly clean and modernly decorated rooms. We had a seafront villa. Great value for money. They give you free use of their kayaks and paddle boards which is a fun bonus!

Unique resort with beautiful view of the ocean. Great amenities — kayaking, paddleboarding, biking, chess, swings. Our rooms also had beautiful balconies with great views. great service too. Restaurant on site is yummy, fast service and reasonably priced for a resort. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed in this lovely hotel for 10 days and we were impressed by the quality of service and the atmosphere. Staff are very friendly and helpful. There is outdoor seats and tables by the beach. A nice pool and beautiful gardens. Will definitely recommend and will come back :)

In general : the place is fine, nice views & quite. So if you don't mind the low level of service & cleaning & want to have chilling times then this is the best place. I booked for 3 days but left on the second day coz of the : distance to attractions & the cleaning level & the room was up hill which was too much to walk up & down for us. * Good side : - amazing views - nice people - the design is unique - the price is very good - the restaurant food was fine, yet they could not tell me if it is Halal food or not! * Low side : - the English level of the staff - nothing around the hotel - the beach in not for swimming & not for walking too - the rooms are fine, but toilets are not cleaned that good. The towels had yellow stains !

Stayed here for 2 nights. I definitely enjoyed the peaceful and relaxing vibe here. Everything is well maintained. And the design of the resort makes you feel like in a tropical forest

We had a lovely experience over a 10 day stay. We came to celebrate my partner’s birthday and it was very easy to communicate with staff (especially Joyz) to set up a birthday surprise which they delivered on! We went with the longer stay which they have cool perks for and a 15% at the local restaurant. The room was very clean and spacious. Its modern looking but has the feel of a getaway by the sea. Again, the staff was very friendly and easy to communicate with. We opted out for the free breakfast and it was well worth it. It changes from day to day but it’s a must. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Nice concept throughout all physical and service areas. Excellent rooms, nice pool, garden areas and especially nice beach bar and restaurant. Great drinks and food selection of local and western style. Very friendly staff and a great cocktail bar tender named San :)

Excellent location, very quiet ie away from the chaos that can be Phuket. Incredible staff and amazing food🙏 Room was immaculately clean every day by the maid and stocked with fresh towels. Incredible communal infinity pool for lounging or swimming laps. In low season, staff were always on the lookout for a guest without an umbrella during the rains that have a habit of blowing through. Very conscientious staff and plenty of them 🙏 The Grove bar is part of the resort and is also fantastic 🙏 Plus you must try their french fries! They are amazing!

We had a very pleasant stay at The Mangrove. all the staff are very accommodating especially Joyz. We are very happy with the overall, food, place and everyone are lovely. Thank you for the wonderful experience. we will surely be back. See you again The Mangrove!

Incredible place to stay in Phuket. The architecture is amazing and in line with Thailand’s style, immersed in the nature and on front of the sea. The location is quiet and very cozy, perfect to relax after a day full of activities and to enjoy a dinner with people on the beach. The restaurant offers a wide variety of food for all tastes, drinks are amazing and the rooms of the hotel are provided with everything one might need, they are huge and so cool.

When we first arrived at around 2:15 PM, the room hasn't finished cleaning. But it was ok since they offered us free drinks for the wait. The room was not that clean. The bed sheet and blanket had some dark spots. The bathtub was not clean so I had to clean it myself before using. The shower water was not as hot as it should be and was slow running water. However, the atmosphere and room style was beautiful as I expected. The reception staffs were friendly. There were some activities that guests can do such as kayaking and paddle boarding. We can do that when the water is high enough.

Staying at this resort is one of my most relaxing vacation experiences so far. The staff is amazing and friendly, the atmosphere is very chill and the food is great! I'm a coffee lover and the coffee here is really great too. Thank you to grove for this amazing experience!

Excellent glamping. Really nice cabins with beautiful view, bath tub, microwave, kettle, and AC. The entire area full of plants and arranged in details. Open swimming pool for all guests. Free parking. Kayaks available. There were 2 paddle boards but old and missing fins, unable to use. Decent breakfast and good service. Located in quiet area, but there were sometimes noises from construction nearby.

If u want to find a chilling-private place, i recommend this hotel. Moreover, the hotel is suitable to work remotely with sea view sibling a beer or coffee along the beach. The staffs and service is remarkable. There are outdoor activities such as kayak or camping. The location is quite. There are tree and beach along together. Then, I feel very comfortable not sticky like other beaches. And one more there is a small coffee shop inside. The taste is very good unlike other general coffee hotel!!!!

A beautiful facility with a tropical feel. The complex is maintained daily, the rooms are comfortable and clean and the pool invites you to relax. It is possible to go kayaking and rent a bike for free. In general it is very quiet and the next 7 eleven is about 1.2 km away. In the vicinity of the hotel there are a few small local shops where you can quickly get the essentials. Laundry service is available near the hotel for 70 bath per kg. The hotel staff is very friendly and the breakfast is extensive and delicious. The whole area is very nice and helps to relax. The hotel offers baby cots and plenty of play areas

Verry nice and quiet place to stay, really enjoyed staying here! When you want to visit something you need to take a taxi, but it was always nice to arrive back at the verry relaxed resort.

It’s not a ‘5 star hotel’, but this hotel deserves a five star review. The rooms and facilities are clean, comfortable and modern, and you really get a lot for your money if you take advantage of the free activities offered by the hotel. Staff was very friendly and accommodating to all requests. Great WiFi. Close to Phuket old town. A bit of a drive to the sunset side of the island, but not bad. Only stayed one night but will surely come back.

Overall a good place, perfect location, overall attentive staff but there are a few things which can easily be fixed and should not happen at such an upscale locations: - internet unreliable (I was in room 306 which is the last room), so approx. half of the time there is no reliable internet - bar/restaurant was a disaster: after at least 30 minutes (probably more than 45 minutes...) my ordered food finally arrived, appetizer and main dish together. Appetizer was cold, main dish was luke-warm. Chances are, that someone forgot it and it was sitting somewhere for at least 30 minutes. Tried to raise my concerns, but noone was there. This could have been solved pro-actively, but it seemed more that someone was hiding his mistakes. Once more, overall a great place, but not perfect.

Amazing place, friendly staff and good central location between the southern part and the city. The place is super chill and the rooms are gorgeous, clean and overall well maintained. There is no sand beach here though, if that is important to you. However you can rent a scooter for cheap from the hotel and go to the nearby beaches

I had a delightful stay at The Mangrove by Blu Monkey! The serene ambiance, impeccable service, and stylish decor created a memorable experience. The attention to detail and comfortable amenities made my stay truly enjoyable. I highly recommend it for a relaxing getaway.

Great resort, super clean rooms, good building quality, you can enjoy the singing birds and lush greenery. Staff is super friendly, we had a little issue with hot water in our room and they immediately sent a mechanic to find and fix the issue. Location is so peaceful, will definitely come back here again!

I really wish I could give this place 5 stars. The room was nice, clean, and comfy. The front desk staff has a bit of attitude when I asked her questions simply because I wanted clarification on things. My room service food padkapow was the best I ever had. Food came fast too. I didn’t get a chance to paddle board or kayak since the tide was super low. But the property itself is nice. If I was to come back, it would be just for the restaurant not to stay.

Great place to chill far from noisy tourists traps. There are so many birds around singing joyfully. Perfect for few nights. Sea is not the best for swimming, but there are some things to do: grab a taxi to visit monkey hill or old town Phuket with good restaurants (give a chance to Blue Elephant, you will probably enjoy it). Breakfasts simple but nice. If you want to eat in a restaurant next to the hotel and you are not a huge fan of super hot Thai dishes, ask kindly (better several times) “not spicy, please”. Even this won’t guarantee that the dish is not spicy ☺️ For kids hotel provide nice beds for additional cost. Rooms are fresh and new.

One thing that struck me when I came was how tranquil and quiet this resort is. We were warmly welcomed and escorted to our room after checking in. We got a villa and it was great! Mosquitos are not a problem, so long you keep your doors and windows close. The bed is super smooth and very comfortable too! While the facilities are maintained properly, the breakfast fell short of our expectations. Food was cold and felt bad to eat (as in, it felt like I'll fall sick when eating it). As the resort was far away from the city, getting food delivered was not an option. But when you do so, make sure your location is set as 'Grove phuket' or the restaurant 'Grove' as the resort bears the similar location to The Mangrove Panwa.

The rooms are very good but the resort is very far from the town. Taxi's charge around 1000 baht. The food is okayish. The resort has free kayaking. It was a good experience:)

Very strange female receptionist and bed itchy as crazy. Can't say for sure what is the cause of the sheet issue but for other references/possible explanations, see 'marine marsoulan's comment and the pictures of dogs on the bed posted by another customer, 'marine marsoulan'said 'Check your sheets! It is inadmissible at this price..............

Friendly people, good service , the vibes of the hotel are comfortable. And you can feel the environment ☺️🤗 also they have the best frenchfries with cheese 😍😍😍

If you’re looking for something private, peaceful and beautiful, this is it! You’re not able to walk to the Old Town area but it’s a short taxi ride away. Since you can’t walk to town, you have to pay for the hotel food which is good but more expensive. But the views are beautiful, the pool is so refreshing and the rooms were amazing

On the positive side I think the rooms have a nice layout and although not big, the swimming pool was nice. The price was also good. On the negative side: you cannot swim in the sea or lay on the beach and the hotel is very remote. Not really much in 10 minute walking distance. Experience with staff was mixed. While the housekeeping and background staff was friendly and always greeted nicely, the front staff at the lobby and at the restaurant seemed to be more reserved. An ultimate no go was the staffing cleaning the beach throughing a rock at a sleeping dog. Breakfast is not close to a 4 star level.

Positives: well-appointed rooms in a tranquil setting (some of the time); kind and friendly staff who try hard. Negatives: the kitchen service is painfully slow. It took 1 hour and 10 minutes to make chicken fried rice and the chicken was raw. The manager was very apologetic and eventually offered 50% Off the meal price 😕. The catering service didn’t improve much over the next few days and they ran out of spirits at the bar - no mojitos and no alternatives provided. The restaurant next door had an extremely loud event that ran for hours and spoiled the evening for residents at the Mangrove. It’s not the worst hotel, but it’s certainly not the best. You can find better for the price elsewhere on the island. I won’t be back. P.S. bland management feedback is a waste of time. Don’t.

Room was fine. The added third bed made it very crunch. But still ok. Lots of steep steps to walk from reception to room, location is far from shopping places and restaurants which means you need to drive to reach there or by taxi. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Good food options for breakfast. Beach in front does not have waves. It is a bay. Overall it feels like a nice resort.

We have just finished spending 10 days here while recovering from surgery. If you want to relax and escape the chaos, this is the place. The rooms are spacious and clean. The restaurant is well priced and tasty food. The location is out of town a bit, but that is what makes it so relaxing. We hired a scooter so we could still easily travel to nearby towns. Will stay here on our next visit.
