My
name
is
Neelagandan
Valavan
(Neel
Valavan)
from
California,
USA.
On
clinical
Examination,
the
doctors
found
I
have
an
Age-Related
Nuclear
Cataract
Bilateral(both
eyes).
Hence,
I
went
to
an
eye
surgeon
specialist
in
California.
Based
on
the
referral,
the
Eye
Surgeon
examined
and
devised
a
schedule
after
ninety
days
to
do
the
cataract
surgery
for
one
eye
and
two
weeks
after
for
the
second
eye.
However,
I
was
uncomfortable
with
the
schedule
and
wanted
to
do
the
Surgery
immediately
in
Chennai,
India.
Hence,
I
took
help
and
consulted
my
brother-in-law,
a
Chennai
doctor,
Dr.
K
Elangovan,
MBBS,
DCH,
a
Pediatrician,
who
suggested
I
go
to
Dr.
Agarwal's
Eye
Hospital,
Perambur
Chennai,
my
native
town
in
Chennai.
Choosing
Dr.
Agarwal's
Eye
Hospitals
was
my
best
decision
for
the
following
reasons:

treatment

sometimes
off-the
duty
(while
traveling)
As
I
mentioned
initially,
this
Hospital
in
Perambur
has
a
beautiful
team
of
Doctors,
especially
the
credentials
of
Chief
Eye
Surgeon
Dr.
D.
Karpagam,
MBBS,
MS,
FMRF
(UVEA)
Consultant
Ophthalmologist.
In
addition,
She
seems
to
be
the
Chairman
&
Education
Committee
Dean
of
Ophthalmology
at
Dr.
Agarwal's
Eye
Hospitals
Ltd.,
which
is
fantastic.
When
I
met
her
for
the
first
time
on
19th
February
2024,
after
going
through
my
medical
paper
from
the
United
States,
she
explained
to
me
the
problems
I
have
and
answered
all
my
questions,
clarified
my
doubts,
and
then
told
me
what
her
plan
of
action
regarding
my
cataract
surgery.
She
again
decided
to
do
all
the
required
tests
she
felt
necessary
and
scheduled
the
Surgery
for
my
Left
eye
on
28th
February
2024.
As
suggested
by
the
doctor,
I
have
completed
all
the
required
tests,
and
after
going
through
the
test
results,
on
the
28th,
the
Chief
Eye
Surgeon,
Dr.
Karpagam
D,
did
the
Surgery.
The
complete
surgery
procedure
took
only
15-20
minutes
and
was
painless.
After
the
Surgery,
within
a
few
minutes,
I
walked
out
of
the
opera
theatre
by
myself,
saying
"Hi"
to
my
wife
and
family
waiting
outside
the
theatre.
It
went
so
simply
and
quickly,
which
I
had
never
thought
of.
Similarly,
the
doctor
completed
the
Surgery
in
my
right
eye
on
1st
March
2024.
Overall,
in
both
eyes,
the
Surgery
was
completed
within
two
weeks,
which
is
impossible.
Here,
I
would
say,
"Time
is
precious
like
Gold

The

gave
justice,
took
me
as
a
patient
given
due
care,
and
completed
the
Surgery
in
both
eyes
within
two
weeks.

I
felt
homely
at

My

fly
from
the
United
States
of
America
and
do
my
Cataract
Surgery
at
Dr.
Agarwal's
Eye
Hospitals
Perambur
Chennai
is
trouble-free.
I
felt
