The location is great and the owners and staff are very nice and friendly. The whole traditional/old house needs a proper renovation and the outside areas a bit of love and some cleaning. Our room felt stuffy and a bit worn down. The mattresses need to be renewed. The air condition was noisy and didn’t work properly. The continental breakfast was nice with bagels and bread. There were daily fresh choices such as eggs and pancakes in addition. Parking is free in the streets.

Pam and Christina were so welcoming and Pam gives top notch restaurant recommendations! We honeymooned here and loved every minute of our stay

I wouldn't book here again. My flight was canceled for reasons outside of my control & they didn't even attempt to make any sort of conciliatory gesture in the form of a credit or free night. Money down the drain for a room I wasn't able to use which didn't cost them anything (there were several rooms available when I booked). They can enjoy my $275 and this review as well.

We found this place after scouring the internet and came for the reviews and location. We were very happy with our stay. We enjoyed the small pool and patio tremendously. Pam and Christina were exceptional hosts making us feel very welcome and at home. Some reviews complain about place needing an update, I disagree, stay at a hotel! You are staying in a historic building, I believe it adds to the charm. The only thing needing improvements were the mattresses and A/C. Beds were not super comfortable, but not horrible. We were either freezing or hot with A/C. Our friends traveling with us stayed at Kimpton Place and were very jealous of our B&B! Owners even welcomed our friends to visit. At our friends' B&B they did not have a fridge, only received voucher to bakery for breakfast, no pool, no happy hour, very small rooms, water bottles provided, but have to walk across the street to office. We were very happy with our stay, would definitely recommend, and will be back definitely next time we are in Key West!

We came here for our honeymoon and when they found out they upgraded our room and gave us a bottle of champagne as a gift! This place is so close to downtown we just parked our car and left it until we checked out. The pool is open all night which was nice because after we got back from the night life downtown we relaxed for awhile in the pool! Staff was super friendly!

Great comfortable rooms, quiet and nice location. Close to all the action. Breakfast was very good. There are roosters running around wild but personally I didn't hear any while trying to sleep. The staff was very helpful giving ideas for places to eat.

We have been coming to Key West for 12 years and have stayed at numerous different B & Bs but this year we found home. The Knowles House is the absolute best. Pam and Christina are the best!! From a hot breakfast to the friendliness, caring and them just wanting to make sure you were doing well. Our experience was the best ever. We booked "our room" for next year the day we left.

Knowles House is a gem. Hosts are amazing. Water, ice and beach towels anytime. Two blocks to Yankee Freedom ferry to Dry Tortugas National Park. Coming back. Love this place.

We enjoyed our stay here. Christina was very welcoming and friendly. She showed us around and instructed us on where to park nearby. We parked our car but never used while we were there. Great location. She gave us a few restaurant recommendations which we went to and were very happy. Breakfast and happy hour an added touch here. We will be back!

The Knowles House is a comfortable historic inn. The part time innkeepers are very nice and there is a decent breakfast served with hot food and continental style. The problem is the building is very worn, tired, moldy, and breaking down all around. Our room had significant mold on the ceiling. The porch attached to our room was collapsing and rotten. The location on Eaton is busy and noisy and by an intersection. The outer door to the room fit loosely and road noise was significant. I would not consider staying here until the new owners are done milking the property and do a makeover.

WOW! Where to start? Loved everything about this place. Christina and Ilona were both amazing. Great breakfast every morning and wine in the spa every afternoon. Face it, Key West in late July is brutal. Their attention to detail and friendliness was over the top! I WILL be back! Made a few new friends in the process too. Keep up the great work ladies. We'll miss you and will definitely see you soon 😊 😘

A quaint 165 year old relic located not far from all the shops and bars. The hostess owner is your favorite, cool Aunt that grabs you drinks, or makes sure breakfast is out for grazing. I was getting married and she gifted us a bottle of champagne for the night. Rooms are nice and comfortable. The backyard is cool with the mini pool. Ambience is right on key.

My experience at the Knowles house was so wonderful and it has mostly to do with the Pam and Christina the amazing women that run the house. Upon entering you feel like you are visiting relatives, that is how they treat you.... Both the sweetest.. and will do anything for you. They have the best personalities, Christina was always there offering a drink during the day or gluten free options. The space is beautiful especially the roof deck and the pool area. The breakfast was great to start the day and the location was fabulous. I adore the keys and I adore the Knowles house.. Thank you ladies for making our trip the best it could be.. will be back soon I hope !!!

We loved our stay here. Super close to almost everything. We didn’t have a car, but we were able to walk or run everywhere. Knowles is quaint and reminiscent of our our old beloved Victorian. Small pool, roof deck, breakfast and happy hour everyday near the pool. The hosts are incredible and make sure you are taken care of. They are gems!! We would stay here again!!

We love this quaint bed and breakfast. I would say the hospitality's outstanding and even better than our experiences at hotels. Ms. Christina was such a lovely lady. Breakfast was delicious!! The Knowles house has such a friendly and cozy atmosphere. We'll definitely stay here again when we come back.

The people are so friendly. The room was clean, nicely decorated and had all the bath supplies you need. Home cooked breakfast and fabulous happy hour drinks. We had a fabulous time. Just far enough from the Duval street craziness but close enough to the action.

This was our first bed and breakfast experience, and we certainly picked the right one. Christina has a bright, energetic, fun personality! The house is very pretty. Loved the courtyard and pool. Happy hour was held over because we were running late. Beds and pillows are awesome. Breakfast was very tasty. Super nice place to go, we would do it again in a heart beat!

Absolutely loved my stay here. The hosts made it feel like a home away from home. I felt very comfortable and welcomed even as a 23yr old young gal (who was rly only there to drink). I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone, they really know what they are doing! Free breakfast, cute pool and lovely company. 10/10

My wife & I recently stayed at this place during our second visit to Key West. We enjoyed this B & B and recommend it to other travelers, as it is located in a great location. Breakfast is good, staff is nice & friendly, and the atmosphere is just relaxing overall. Great place!

We loved the Knowles House and will go back for sure if we find ourselves in Key West again, which I hope we do someday! Christina was amazing and the nicest lady you'll ever meet! Everyone we met there was so nice! We got there late on the night we checked in, but Christina checked with us earlier in the day to make sure we knew what to do and that everything was all ready for us, she even gave us her parking spot when we got there and left us a couple diet cokes!!😃❤️ Breakfast was delicious, and it was awesomely close to downtown and everywhere we needed to be for are excursions! It was walking distance to our parasailing & snorkeling check in, and to the ferry port to the Dry Tortugas. There is also an amazing little Bakery right next door that was really delicious! We loved our anniversary stay, thanks so much to all those who helped make our stay great, we'd come back for sure! 🙌

From the location to the hosts, everything was AMAZING! The pool was great. Free happy hour drinks. Clean, fully-stocked rooms. Friendly hosts. Delicious breakfast. The other visitors were so kind! Adorable decor. Perfect location- quiet but right next to the party! As a lesbian couple, it's hard for us to feel safe and welcomed at B&B's. Knowles house was PERFECT! We will be back very soon!
