This hotel was a tremendous disappointment. To start, there was no parking available in their lot and no one around to help guide us to available parking lots. There was also no one to control the noise levels outside, and so bus drivers were honking for their late passengers at 5:30 in the morning. We ordered a room with a fold out couch and after sleeping in the couch I woke bug bites all over our bodies. The morning breakfast was adequate but tired. I’m not sure why this hotel deserves a four star rating it is not much more than three stars.

A basic hotel, with a low maintenance level. For example, the TV and the safe in our room did not work.. Breakfast was good and the location is good: next to the light train and within a 20 minutes walk to the Old City.

Old fashioned interior design, and an average service level

The room wasn't clean at all. And definitely not value for money. When you pay more then 1000 nis for a night you expect to get a room that wasn't built in the 70's . Or at list a working TV. And yet, the worse part was the check in. After waiting more than half an hour,They just gave us the keys without any introduction or explainetion about the basic things like when the breakfast begin and ends or the way to connect the resaption if needed. We've tried to call on our cell phone as well, without any luck.. **The extra 🌟 was given to the comfortable bad. She deserves it 🙂

AVOID THIS HOTEL - Its old, electrical problems in everyroom - Carpets are as old as the city, and they smell. - Restaurant is a buffet and is not clean (also smells) and food is mediocre at best. You need to pay for drinks separately, 5 USD for a can of coke. - ACs in bedrooms do not cool, my family took 4 bedrooms, it was the same in all. - Overall state of the hotel is very bad. From the lobby chairs to the hallways. - Staff tried their best to be nice but they have a very uphill battle. Do not make the mistake to come here, avoid this hotel.

Gym is very small and the sauna is pretty bad designed. Pool was closed even though it was warm enough outside. Rooms were clean overall, view from the small balcony is pretty boring. Buffet food was average, no oat milk only soy milk.

Tldr: not for vacation with children, expensive and does not give value for money. 1. Not for kids: pool and play room open at 10, any Cafe or lunch is only available from 13:00. Breakfast is good, but lunch and dinner are extremely expensive. 2. Room and service were not amazing, esp given the high price. 3. Location: if you have kids there are no real sidewalks anywhere and nothing is accessible by foot. Rail station is close but not easy to get to with kids.

Terrible customer service. On Friday night, my wife accidentally locked herself out of the room and asked the front desk to open it. The front desk was very rude and yelled at her for leaving the key into the room, and begrudgingly opened it (after guilt tripping her and telling her that he’s jewish and shouldn’t be opening the door). The next day, the key was once again accidentally left in the room so I again asked for someone to assist me in opening my door. The manager at the front desk accused me and my wife of lying about the key and refused to open my door. Meanwhile my pregnant wife was waiting upstairs while the front desk argued with me about nonsense. She had to wait 45 minutes until I finally got someone to open the door - completely unprofessional and rude.

We are a family of six and had pre booked two family suites. Unfortunately they were on opposite ends of the hotel but fortunately on the same floor. Thank you AJ. We stayed for a few nights while we did day tours around Jerusalem. The rooms were spacious and beds were very comfortable. It was great having a separate toilet room from the bathroom area, especially when you’re sharing with more than two people. The rooms were very clean as well! AJ at the front desk was friendly and helpful whenever we walked by. Unfortunately for us the swimming pool was closed for the winter season. It does make sense that the pool was closed since it really doesn’t get that warm in Jerusalem to swim in an outdoor pool. We did try the gym which was hard to find in the sub basement. Very small, outdated, and broken equipment! The all you can eat breakfasts that were included were good but not as great as the Leonardo Hotel in Tel Aviv. One great bonus is that the hotel is close to the Light Rail, 2m walk, which takes you to the central bus station as well as other popular outdoor markets and tourist destinations.

Within walking distance of Old Jerusalem. Far better properties next door and the American Colony. Front Desk was clueless. The shop that was part of the Hotel is excellent.

Dated rooms but good beds and some views. Smaller bathrooms but closet and changing space is good. Food is buffets and excellent. Great service. Mostly tour groups very busy with buses and people.

My tour group was booked here for four nights. I’m sure at one time this hotel was very nice. However, it’s glory days are past. The air conditioning was turned off for the season and our rooms were overly warm and stuffy. The front desk’s solution was to “just open the windows.” The plumbing is subpar. The toilet didn’t adequately flush the waste and the water in the shower alternated between scalding and tepid. The restaurant’s buffet is decent.

Spent 4 nights here as part of a tour. Buffet style meals were plentiful and varied. Register your bank card at reception then pay bar bill at the end to avoid paying tax.

Very nice accommodation. The only thing I did not like was that they took my phone (and those of many others in my group) to write their own review using our Google account. They should have asked me and I would easily have given them 5 star. Unfortunately this kind of behavior induced me to give them only 3. Hope this kind of behavior will change - mobile phones are part of each own private sphere and if I ask you to please allow me to use the hotel wifi you should NOT use it otherwise. Very dishartened by that.

Nice enough staff but very tired looking rooms and dining room. Good breakfast spread with nice breads, ok coffee and pretty awful orange juice. Good for the light rail but a bit of walk to the old city

Our toliet didn't flush correctly at all. The tv also would only play sound, but no picture. However, the food and bar were pleasant and tasty.

Had a great stay here for my first trip to Israel. Management was very helpful. Spent a lot of time at the bar and the bartenders were very helpful!

This is an average hotel. Nothing special. Breakfast is average. Customer service is average. The gym has parts that do not work properly. Fortunately, the hotel is clean and the rooms have nice clean sheets.

The, separate room for toilet accommodations are extremely small. Barely enough room to turn around. The showers are not completely enclosed so you can unavoidably get water on the floor. The food was excellent, actually way too much!

We were a large group from Mexico and we recently stayed here, the rooms were very comfortable and the beds were amazing! The food was very delicious and me and my grupo agreed that the hotel was amazing!! We loved it! Also the service is top 🥳 Definitely stay here if you are Visiting Jerusalem, I would also like to mention that it is very close In walking distance to mamila and old city! So that was amazing

Beautiful hotel. Fantastic food. I only give 4 stars instead of 5 because the pool and game rooms close so early, we couldn't use them.

The Hotel Stuff is kind, but it takes time until they fullfill your needs. The room was clean, but things getting old. The coffee and hot choclate at the bar is very good. The location could be more calm. 15 min walk to the center of Jerusalem

Our room was dusty and the bathroom moldy. The thermostat in the room didn’t work. When we asked for help with this we were told to just turn off the AC when we were cold and turn it back on when we were hot. Elevators did not consistently work. The drain was clogged in the bathroom. Others in our group experienced many issues ranging from bed bugs to broken AC. Photo is of a bed propped up in the hallway about to be placed in a room.

On a wonderful tour of Israel with Pilgrim Tours, our last hotel of the trip was the Leonardo Jerusalem Hotel, where we stayed 3 nights. Out of 4 hotels, this one was the only one sub-par (2 rather than 4 stars) both in condition and service. I highly recommend others to find another hotel. The rooms had numerous problems, including a noisy, running toilet which they could not immediately fix as we arrived late in the evening and for which their fix was the next day was to turn was to turn off the water so it would not flush at all, so we had to request a room transfer and that resulted in numerous room key problems preventing access to either the old or new room (3 more trips to the front desk). All-in- 6 trips to the front desk over the toilet and key issues. Escalating to the manager, he was apologetic, but never offered any real compensation (2 bottles of water and some old/bad chocolate bar) for the 2 hours and frustration we spent resolving this. Another shock was that they ripped up the hallway carpet the second day we were there, resulting in a mess down the hallway and bits and pieces on our room floor by the door, as well as an extra odor. We had no forewarning of this with others complaining even more about the glue odor as they replaced the carpet. Other problems included a squeaky closet door and noisy A/C fan in the old room, and the new room having a slow running shower/tub drain, leaky shower hose, closed drain at the sink with a broken lever (all old fixtures), and a fridge that was barely colder than the room. The food was good, but not as good as the other 3 hotels.

The rooms are not clean, and the service can be better.. The refrigerator was not functioning, and when we asked about it we got an answer that "this is not a fridge this os a cold-keeper" What??? Food was good, also location is not bad if you want to be close to the old city

Staff was wonderful! Rooms were clean and perfect! But the most important thing in this hotel, is the guest relations manager, Yael Hazan, Her service was just out of this world, she catered to all our needs and made sure our stay was wonderful, highly recommended!!!

Got to say the food and everything, was just... ok Pros: Room was nice Location was good, close enough to visit the sites around in a cab Cons: Dirty cups in the dining room during breakfast Cold food, during the same serving. Summary... Ok i guess if you need a quick economic stay

Clean, nice room, the location is very good- 20 minutes walk from the western wall and the center, the staff was very pleasant and helpful (Samer and the night receptionist thank you!), everything we asked for immediately taken care of and the meals were great! Thank you!

We were there for a few days, the service and food was very good in general. The bad: communication, the employees assume the tourists speak Hebrew. It's the only bad thing.

This was a nice hotel, but definitely not a 4 star experience. The food is good, but each night it is the same. The rooms were clean but not very well maintained. There was also a strong smoke smell through parts of the building. Other than those issues, it’s a fine hotel experience and the staff are all very kind and helpful.

The location is great and the staff were friendly. Did not appreciate a knock at the door at 830 am from the cleaning lady. Breakfast had a lot of choice but the coffee station wasn’t great. The machines served warm coffee not hot and took some time. I usually stay at the grand court next door and it’s a bit better.

Very nice rooms and staff. Sadly the breakfast was horrible. There was no room service or anywhere to get a drink after 11pm. Lovely hotel and lovely rooms. Cant say if value for money as got it free through easyjet screw up

The Leonardo Jerusalem is an excellent place to stay, and I’ll tell you why. The food is outrageous and it makes my mouth water. The beds are stupendously comfortable, and this hotel is soooo amazing overall. Leonardo for the win!

I was just there March 2022.Upon arriving, our group was met by Gail, the guest manager. She gave us such a wonderfully warm welcome it touched my heart. The staff was so helpful and friendly, great customer service and I loved my room, and such delicious food. I would highly recommend them.

The public areas of the hotel - very beautiful (even a bit luxurious) and very inviting. The breakfast was excellent and the dining room is spacious, cozy and clean. What was surprising was the huge gap between all of these and the condition of the bathroom and the shower in the room itself - which really need renovation. It would also be appropriate to put a toilet brush next to the toilet. It's really basic.

Abraham was the most caring and compassionate staff member I have ever had the pleasure of meeting in any hotel I have ever stayed at. Such a class act! Excellent hotel and excellent staff!

Very terrible service showing no respect for the guests. October 5th Jewish had celebrated one of their occasions. The coffee machine were turned off and the breakfast was leftover from the dinner and no hot food were allowed. Not sure why you open your hotel for tourist and you forced your religious rule on us? Again the coffee machine were shutting off in October 10 for another occasion? What a joke. On the top lot of people got food poisoning. Never will stay in this terrible hotel again
