I stayed at The Herbert in August 2022 with my wife and my daughter. My wife and I are frequent travellers and we stayed at a lot of hotels in big cities all across Europe, we prefer Boutique Hotels but we also stayed at the big chains like Hilton etc. The Herbert was absolutely exceptional. It was honestly the best hotel we have stayed at! The location is just marvelous. We booked two Deluxe rooms with balcony and seaview for two weeks and we actually got rooms with huge terraces that had the most outstanding view on the sea. The rooms are clean and their seize is comparable with the room size of Boutique Hotels in Europe (so don't expect super huge rooms, it's a Boutique Hotel). The Herbert has an open bar, drinks at the hotel bar are for free, which is totally amazing! Considering the rooms, the location and the open bar, this hotel is already a remarkable place but what made our stay so exceptional was the service provided by the fantastic staff. First there is Nevo, the manager, a super friendly guy with a really big heart, he never leaves a guest unsatisfied and runs the place like a family business. He treats his guests and the staff like family. Then there is Nader, an exceptional concierge who will not only help you with questions about the city etc. but who will gladly treat you with a cold drink at the bar while chatting with you. The guy is just fantastic! Alex, the bar man, always happy to surprise you with his newest coffee creations. He is a kind and funny guy who likes to entertain people. Alfia, the good Alfia, a very good concierge and a even better person. She has this caring personality that makes you feel like she's your big sister. Then there is of course the housekeeping staff. All of them are super friendly and helpful but I would like to particularly mention Hamode, this guy is fantastic, he will make you feel like a real guest. All of these people really grew to our hearts during the two weeks and it definitely felt like family. The staff is just amazing. The Herbert sums up the best of middle eastern hospitality. Never before have we enjoyed a hotel so much and we will definitely come back.

Very loud construction works everyday from 7am, hotel never advised about it. Also the entrance is under construction and the access closed quite often so I needed to go around the block to enter (No indications at all).

I was so impressed with the extraordinarily attentive and kind service, with the extreme cleanliness of the room, and with the location. I simply can’t imagine a better place to stay in Tel Aviv, and I will look forward to returning to the Herbert again.

We booked a room with a balcony. On the first day the power went out in our room, which they called the repair guy to fix. Then overnight our air conditioner broke and was leaking into the room. They moved us to a smaller room without a balcony. We were still charged the price of the room with a balcony, despite being told they would refund the difference. Otherwise the staff was nice. Breakfast across the street was amazing. Also the location was right next to the beach and walking distance to the shuk

The location of this hotel is just amazing, right in front of the beach. The staff is friendly and there are plenty of seats in the lobby to hang out and chill as well. The breakfast in served in the Herbert Opera on the other side of the street and is good, however the staff is less friendly there. We also made use of the pool in that hotel which was great. I do have some recommendations for the rooms though: 1. There was no chair in the room to sit. 2. There was nothing to put your suitcase on. 3. It's impossible to hang your clothes in the wardrobe until you find the stick somewhere behind the curtens, maybe good to place this in front of the wardrobe. 4. Extra hangers in the bathroom doe your clothes, now there is only a hanger for big towels. 5. Hanger for small towel next to the sink.

A clean, new hotel just across the street from the beach. Great location!!!! The hotel is new and although the bathrooms are tiny and there seem to be no rooms with a sea view it is tastefully decorated and the beds are extremely comfortable. We traveled here for the week of Sukkot and the hotel was kind enough to offer special goodies such as champagne and snacks during the day and evening to celebrate the holiday. The staff seem to really enjoy their jobs and despite some false alarms during the day, the security team is top notch and super alert. The food we were offered, including the breakfast, is of high quality and plentiful, with enough variety to satisfy our very picky family. The hotel is under construction but since we were traveling during the holiday, it was perfectly silent. Very nice fitness room with new equipment. There seems to be no spa, sauna or steam room. I would not refer to this hotel as a beach resort, despite its proximity to one of the nicest beaches in Tel Aviv and the many other families staying with us here. Its feel is much more like an upscale business hotel. The pool is very small and just outside the breakfast area...this may be a temporary pool until the construction is complete. The amenities are lovely and well branded and the toiletries are of above average quality. I.e., the shampoo and conditioner actually do what they should do and smell very nice. The toiletry brand is 417. The bathrooms are marble and the water pressure and hot water are ample. They even thoughtfully appointed the rooms with beach shoes, seen in my photo, below. Nice touch! The lobby is cool and spacious and a relaxing and quiet place to relax. I did notice many smaller conference rooms for guests to use to work in and they seemed spacious and well appointed. I will update again after the last day of our stay....

We love our stay at The Herbert! the location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic. It's situated in the heart of Tel Aviv, just steps away from some of the city's best restaurants, bars, and shops. Plus, it's only a short walk to the beach, making it the perfect spot for anyone looking to explore the city or relax on the sand. But what really sets The Herbert apart is its amazing manager, Nevo. Nevo goes above and beyond to make sure his guests have the best possible experience during their stay. From providing insider tips on where to go and what to see, to making sure that all of their needs are met, Nevo truly embodies the spirit of hospitality. In terms of service, The Herbert is top-notch. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with whatever guests need. Whether it's arranging transportation, recommending local attractions, or simply ensuring that everything in the room is to their liking, the team at The Herbert is always on hand to assist. Overall, I highly recommend The Herbert hotel to anyone visiting Tel Aviv. Its unbeatable location, exceptional service, and wonderful manager Nevo make it the perfect home base for exploring this vibrant city.

Budget hotel with all what you need. Perfect price and value ratio. Rooms: Very small but you have everything. Clean and new. Comfortable beds and pillows. Very good air conditions. 55" led tv. Regular cleaning. You can ask for slippers and towels for beach and room from the reception. Location: 50 meters to the Jarussalem beach. That close you can go barefoot from hotel to the beach without any problem. Also close to the carmel market region where you can find many bars and restaurants in walking distance. Breakfast: Just across they have partner hotel (same chain I guess) and you need to go there for breakfast. But it worths because the breakfast is perfect as their partner is kind of a luxurious hotel. Hotel Staff: The best part is this. They are very friendly and helpful. Whatever you need they are ready to help anytime. It is fun to have chat with them also. Others: You can use the pool at their partner hotel. I saw it from distance and did not look attractive when you have all the nice sea infront. At the lobby they serve free coffee, fruits and water at any time. You can ask for bottle water also for room or take away. If I come to Tel Aviv I will definitely stay in the same hotel.

My mom and I had a blast staying at your hotel for three nights. Our room was spotless, the staff of the hotel is courteous, helpful and friendly. On the first night, we slept in a room with no sea view. The next day we asked to upgrade to a room with a balcony and sea view, and although the hotel was fully booked, the hotel manager, Nevo, went above and beyond to accommodate our request. The rooms with the sea view and balcony are priceless. Keep in mind that the rooms are small, so having a balcony gave us the space we needed. We enjoyed having our morning coffee with the sea breeze. We opted for the breakfast buffet, which was fresh and delicious with so many options to choose from (Breakfast is served just a few feet away at their other chain hotel Opera Tel-Aviv). Inside the room they had a coffee machine, pods, tea and water bottles, which was a nice touch. There are a few more free perks that we didn't have time to explore, such as bikes, gym and pool in their other hotel. We'll try to explore next time. Location wise, you can't beat it. You are literally on the beach and boardwalk. 15 min walk to Shuk HaCarmel, Dizengoff Center and Neve-Tzedek, 30-minute walk to Tel-Aviv Yaffo and Shuk Ha'Pishpeshim. Plenty of restaurants and cafes. A creamery, two general stores and Abouelafia Bakery are all located literally by the entrance to the hotel. I can't wait to come back again with my mom. Thank you, Nevo and your wonderful team, for such an enjoyable and memorable stay.

Beautiful hotel and extremely clean and the staff are all very nice, check in was very simple and pleasant. They have drinks and champagne at the welcoming and they are currently renovating the rest of the floors but they give you rooms that are renovated and I must say it is in a very high standard. It's on the beach front and the view from the balcony is breathtaking. I truly recommend everyone to try this hotel and I'm sure you will come back again. They have underground parking and very convenient location.

I had the pleasure of staying at The Herbert in Tel Aviv and it was truly a remarkable experience. From the moment I arrived, Nevo and his team warmly welcomed me, setting the tone for an exceptional stay. The highlight of The Herbert is its stunning view of Jerusalem Beach. Waking up to the sight of the beautiful coastline and feeling the gentle breeze was a rejuvenating experience. It created a serene and inspiring atmosphere, perfect for both business and leisure travelers. The room at The Herbert was a haven of tranquility. Thoughtfully designed and with a quiet and perfect AC, it offered the utmost comfort and ensured a peaceful stay. The attention to detail and the serene ambiance surpassed my expectations. The hotel exudes a unique charm that sets it apart with an air of simplicity and elegance that permeates throughout. It's a testament to The Herbert's commitment to providing an exceptional experience for its guests. In my opinion, The Herbert is one of the finest hotels in Tel Aviv. With its breathtaking beach view, serene rooms, and impeccable ambiance, it offers an unparalleled experience. I highly recommend The Herbert to anyone seeking a refined and inspiring stay in Tel Aviv. Many thanks to Nevo and the entire team for their warm hospitality!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ SD

I went two times to the Herbert. It is a cosy, classy, open-minded place to stay. A place where you can enjoy the bar, the beach, and the beach-view from your room. It is perfetcly placed to enjoy the downtown. And the staff is the best in the world. I absolutely advice both lonely travelers like me and families to give it a try. MM

I expend 3 nights on the hotel and I forget one teeth braces really expensive in the hotel. I tried to contact them but impossible to get a simple answer. I'm really disappointed of their behaviour, on top there are not a lift and the breakfast is in other building . I cannot recommend them

We had a perfect stay at the hotel. The atmosphere and the service at the hotel was amazing! There was not any noise during the day and night. The breakfast was so delicious (GLUTEN-FREE) . During sabbath the staff came with small delicious things. We loved any minute of it, and we will be back for sure :)

Hotel poor! Cheap rates though draws the people… spent one night there, won’t be back, however their breakfast was amazing and plenty of staff to help. View to the beach and bustling beachfront of runners and people play sports early in the morning was refreshing and great to see.

High end hotel right at the beach. The rooms are big and well equipped. My room was facing the city, but there are plenty of rooms facing the sea. We also had a stunning seaview from the breakfeast room which also granted access to the infinity pool at the 4th floor. The breakfeast buffet offered a broad variety of foods.
