As someone who craves Indian food after leaving India, I was delighted to discover the Hyogo Halal Restaurant in Japan. The restaurant provides a buffet-style system that allows diners to eat as much as they want, but they do charge for any leftover food. This policy is displayed at the counter and is a fair way to discourage food waste. The menu consists of a variety of dishes including biryani, chicken curry, mutton curry, nan, and rice, as well as desserts and drinks. The food was flavorful and delicious overall, with the only minor downside being the overcooked basmati rice. However, this could have been due to my timing, as I may have arrived towards the end of the serving period. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also pleasant, with a warm and welcoming staff. The Halal certification added to the confidence that the food was prepared in a clean and hygienic manner. Overall, I would highly recommend the Hyogo Halal Restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Indian food in Japan. The buffet-style system and fair leftover policy make it a great value for money, and the delicious flavors are sure to satisfy your cravings for Indian cuisine.

I knew the taste which I had in Malaysia. This means that is authentic ever before I ate this kind of south Asian food in Japan. I highly recommend it if you starve native foods from south Asian countries.

Buffet halal restaurant. If you want to taste about the typical South Asian food, I hardly recommend you to go there. Though each of South Asian countries have their owness in food but you can assume a bit. The food taste is actually Pakistani as the restaurant run by a Pakistani. However, they have different menus in each day of week. Typically the biriany, mutton curry, 🐔 Curry are common items. Additionally you will have nan. You can eat as much as you can. The price is only 1200 yen.

They are not the best in terms of food quality. I still would give them 5 stars because of the value for money they offer. The restaurant is small with limited sitting arrangement. The owner is a nice and friendly dude. They offer buffet with 7 items. Items change every day. So it’s better to give them a call before going. When we went the following items were available. 1. Salad 2. Beef soup 3. Mutton curry 4. Dal 5. Keema curry 6. Chicken biriyani/ plain rice 7. Halwa Salad was average. Coleslaw with a creamy dressing. Beef soup was unique and my first time. Imagine beef paya without the bones, that’s how there soup tastes like. Mutton curry was good. Well cooked. A lot of tomatoes were used which brought in the tangy flavor. Dal was average. Keema curry was spicy and flavorful. Couldn’t taste there chicken biriyani as it was finished when we got there. Halwa was average. I will recommend this place to everyone and probably will visit this place more in the future.

One of the very best halal restaurants I’ve been to in Japan. The cuisine is very authentic. They don’t offer you instant microwaved meals like most other places. It’s true traditional style when you can just take properly cooked warm dishes out of the pots. I went in the last hour before closing and they wanted to close early that day but they were very kind and let me finish my meal. Didn’t need much time as its buffet style and no waiting for food to be served. And its super reasonable price to be able to have the combination of quality dishes to your liking. And not being charged about 1500-2000 for one dish only like other restaurants with similar quality. Their chicken biriyani itself is one of the best and totally worth the 1800 yen. The other dishes are like extra bonus!

I highly recommend this place. Dinner buffet for only JPY1,200. Food is halal. The chicken butter gravy and briyani were outstanding. Naan was also good. By far the best meal I had while in Kobe/Osaka this week (and I had steak, lobster and tempura during this trip). Owner/manager was very kind and friendly. This place is near a mosque and halal groceries store. Will definitely come again if I'm in Kobe in the future.

This is my first visit. Went for dinner. They gave mutton kebab and chicken leg piece, which was really good, hot and spicy. Thereafter the guy told it's a buffet and we can self serve. They kept only 4 items dal, panner mutter in veg. Mutton and chicken gravy. I tried only non veg. So no comments on veg items. Mutton is good, chicken is okay kinda stuff. Finally we received dessert which was mix of coconut milk and pieces and raisin like custard. It was okay.
