Growing
up
I
always
heard
about
how
Kobe
beef
was
the
best
beef
in
the
world.
Luckily
I
had
a
chance
to
visit
the
home
of
Kobe
beef
and
dine
in
one
of
the
local
teppanyakis
(grilled
on
a
metal
plate)
for
lunch.
It
was
a
cozy
environment
located
downstairs
on
a
side
street
and
as
soon
as
we
entered,
we
were
seated
in
front
of
a
grill
with
the
chef
behind
it.
They
had
English
menus
which
was
clutch
and
they
spoke
pretty
decent
English
as
well.
Our
chef
used
to
live
in
LA
and
we
even
talked
about
basketball
-
how
he
grew
up
watching
Magic
Johnson!
The
food
was
delicious
-
you
could
order
a
la
carte
or
with
a
meal
set.
We
wound
up
doing
the
meal
set,
and
they
had
two
choices
-
A
or
B.
B
was
more
expensive
by
about
1000
yen
but
included
an
appetizer
and
dessert.
You
could
also
order
two
sizes
of
meat:
80g
or
160g.
If
you
just
want
a
taste
of
the
meat,
80g
is
more
than
enough,
and
I
typically
have
a
big
appetite.
The
meat
is
so
juicy
and
buttery
and
tender.
I
couldn’t
recommend
this
place
enough!
