This place has a really nice vibe, and great interior design. The guy who served us was also really cool. There were some vegan options on the menu which was really nice to see. I ordered the tacos and it was very delicious. Highly recommend this place.

Me and my buddy had an awesome lunch at the Castle! The staff was absolutely fantastic, providing warm and friendly service that made the whole experience even better. They were total pros, but also had a great sense of humor, which made the visit super enjoyable. And you know what? The set lunch menu was a steal, great value for money! The ambiance and decor were spot-on too. We had a blast, and for sure, we'll be coming back here again!

Delicious food and craft cocktails! They have a large variety of different types of food from Mexican Taco's to Vegan/Vegetarian food. Sandwiches are on point! The Cubano and Tacos are a must have!!! Real gem of a place! The two cocktails I had were excellent - especially the jalapeño-infused one (I can’t remember the name), which had the perfect amount of spicy kick to it. The bartender was also super friendly, and the vegan tacos were incredible. A bit difficult to find, but so very glad we did!

This place is beyond fantastic for a drink, some food and an amazing vibe. I cannot even express how lovely the staff are and how great their drink selection and alcohol quality is! True masters of their craft, do yourself a favour and try this place out for an unforgettable night!

Best Negroni I've had in Japan over the last few years. The heavenly taste was proof enough of the extreme care and passion that had gone into making it. We also had a mocktail called "She So Cute", which quite wittily was a play on the Japanese Shiso, and that was mad delicious as well. Alongside the drinks, we ordered their tacos, which were small in size, but what they lacked in size, they more than made up for in taste and quality. To add more, they also serve a pretty cool Shisha (hookah) which unlike the traditional design, is served in a box-like container filled with ice. It was nicotine-free so that's a plus for people who don't want nicotine in their Shisha. Very light and vape-like. Give them a visit if you were in Sannomiya and craving some nice food/drinks/shisha.

Amazing Bar with lots of cocktails and great vegetarian options. The place setting is really top notch, with every little detail on the walls, antiques and table very elegantly done.

A gem of a place in the heart of Sannomiya. Great music and sound system plus a variety of cocktails that doesn't come out of a premixed bottles. Actually, in The Castle I drank some of the best cocktails I've had in Japan in the last 8 years. Very chill environment, the staff is very friendly. Food was also quite delicious. Oh, they also have shisha (hooka)! I think it's a "must visit" if you are around Kobe.

If you’re in Kobe and don’t visit The Castle, you didn’t go to Kobe. Try again next time. Went there while they were having an event, and it was INCREDIBLE!! The sound system, the lights and the drinks.

Love this bar and the owner / bartender (my apologies for forgetting your name). I can't speak on the food (came in after the kitchen closed), but the drinks that he suggested were crafted and tasted gratefully. Looking forward to returning the next time I'm in Kobe (and early enough to not end up with an onigiri dinner).

The Castle is a very elegant and classy hidden bar with a speak easy feel to it. I was served by Conner and he was an absolute pleasure to talk to. Conner being a native Kobe resident who has worked in several bars in Sannomia area over the past 15 years has a lot of recommendations on places to go to especially when it comes to authentic Kobe dining experience. I find Conner to be extremely passionate when it comes to preparing and serving cocktails and he takes the time to explain what he’s making. I ordered a Moscow Mule and he prepared an amazing one using Wasabi infused vodka and dried ginger - served in a classic copper mug. It was truly was delicious. The Castle is recommended if you want to meet people or if you want to host a party or a large gathering as the space is set up extremely well for this. It’s also very easy to find as it’s less then 100 meters from the JR Sannomia Train Station. Highly recommended if you are visiting Sannomia, Kobe.

The staff were polite ,friendly and supportive. Me and my wife ordered some cocktails which were memorably amazing and high-end . We also threw my wife’s birthday party there and the staff were very helpful and can help create a good vibrant party . We will definitely book again !

Amazing drinks. The bartender, Jimmy, is a real artist. I own a Luxury Bar in kitashinchi (I won’t say the name because I’m not here to poach customers) but I understand the importance to a top shelf cocktail. Jimmy has it down. I always enjoy watching the mixology in progress. And the owner is a great guy to have a chill conversation with.

Jimmy, the Bartender at The Castle, was fantastic. His care and time spent on the cocktails truly showed when we tasted them. They were wonderful! As a bartender from New York, I was impressed and extremely pleased by the quality that I received at The Castle. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for well crafted and creative cocktails.

Exciting events, friendly multilingual staff, delicious food, welcoming owner, spacious levels and stage space, sociable patrons and of course tasty cocktails with a great atmosphere! What more could you want a club? Well... The Castle is the sister 1134, one of the best dance places in Sannomiya.

The entry is not easy to find. It is the first entry (you only see stairs), 3d floor on the left side if you are coming from the main road. Nice cocktails and the best vegan versions of dishes (also non vegan options available). Please try the vegan tacos 😍

While in Osaka a few months back, my friends and I decided to take a chance on this restaurant and bar in Sannomiya. It was so close to the station and the reviews were great. When we went inside the lights were dimmed so the atmosphere was very different than we saw in the photos on Google, but the music and the vibe were so fun. We got started with some drinks. Unfortunately, their Cannabis Beast cocktail was sold out, but we ordered several other drinks from the menu. There was a delicious cocktail called the Domme. I highly recommend ordering that one. The servers, bartenders, and chefs were so friendly, nice, and very informative on how the drinks and food were made. We had such a great time and I'll definitely be back when I'm back in Sannomiya in the future. Thanks for treating us so well!
