Over 2000 Reviews and Positive Video Reviews We went here after seeing all this.We got the biryani after standing for a while. But nothing was as we expected. Afghani chicken was good but salty. I did not like biryani so I could not eat full. The only thing is overpriced not affordable for middle class people. The behavior of the staff was very bad.

Jeff biriyani is one of the famous biriyanis in Kerala. It really offers a different tempting flavour and taste. Jeff biriyani is very popular among country wide foodies. They serve super yemenish taste and quality. The meat also super soft and well cooked. They have wide variety of dishes available special days, especially Saturdays and Sundays. Their mutton or chicken biriyani with Afghani chicken is a must try combo and totally worth.🤩😋 Jeff biriyani have grown to well known brand and they have branches in kochi, eranakulam, Trivandrum and Calicut. I had visited restaurant in BOT junction, Thoppumpady, kochi. Its situates inside a complex, and only limited dining space and parking space. They have very convenient parcel service. It takes to wait some minutes in que and we entered to dining space. We met the owner of Jeff , he was so nice person and great in hospitality. customer service was so nice and dining area also so clean. When looking back to years, they have story of taste. Firstly this biriyani was made by Jafar who lived in Mumbai with their homely recipes and started to treat guests. It was the birth of Jeff. Later his son and 2 grandson had shifted to kochi and started selling this biriyani in a small Omni van at panambilly nagar at kochi. As days pass people recognised the astonishing tastes in the food and many get attracted day by day. They had elaborated their business and started their first restaurant in kochi. And now it had grown to a brand. The flavours of Jeff offers you an amazing tasty experience, if you are person who loves to have different tastes.❤️

The Afghani chicken curry was wonderful, and the rice in the Biriyani had a nice consistency. Without the Afghani chicken, Jeff biriyani isn't the same. One of my favourite dishes is Afghani chicken curry. I'm at a loss for words when it comes to the Afghani Chicken. Uff... Must give it a shot.

It's the one of the famous biriyani spot in kochin. They serve three Verity type of hyderabadi biryani. (Chicken, beef and mutton.) I have had beef biriyani, chicken biryani and a Afghani chicken. It's a medium massala biriyani and it's Different from other biriyani massala. The quality of the product is so good. Chicken and beef are soft and well cooked. It's a great experience..💕

It's very nice. Food lovers must try. It's located near BOT bridge towards Mattancherry . Nice behaviour from the staff . Nice hospitality. You must visit before 2 pm . Maybe some of the dishes are not available if you are visiting after 2 pm . The taste is very good. Different from other biriyani. But it's good. They are accepting cash and gpay. They are only available till 3 pm.

Best Biriyani in Kochi 👍. Heard a lot about this place in last 1 year and finally got a chance to visit. First of all regarding the parking, its very limited, so you might have to park it near along the road. Shop is small with limited seating capacity around 15-20. We reached around 11:30 AM itself. They just opened the Dum. We ordered the 2 most famous items here- Afghani Chicken and Mutton Apricot Biriyani. Afghani Chicken is a must try. It is so tender that melts in your mouth 🤤. Mutton Biriyani is also very delicious. Must try for folks who are travelling to Fort Kochi.

Great food.. Chicken Biriyani is the best one. A little pricey..but the quality is good.... Afgan chicken is a popular choice....but it lacks spices...so I didn't quite like it... But all in all .the food is really good. Limited seats is a problem...

A superb place if you are a biriyani lover. They do provide chicken and beef biriyani. They also have Afghan Chicken which is a semi gravy item. But this is suggested for 2 people. The biriyani here is having a special taste and they promote as Yeman biriyani Parking is the issue here and the hotel is difficult to locate tok

One of the best biriyani. The quantity is good enough and the quality is best. Mostly people come to buy the parcel. The seat availability is very less. Usually it will close by 4 PM. So better go between 3-3:30 PM if you are planning to dine in.

I saw every day the long line of customers for getting the famous Jeff biriyani. this biriyani store was in My neighborhood for like years . And I never been here. I was like oooh why I Missed it. You've got to try it. I've had a chicken biryani.and Afghani chicken. Don't expect anything like a rich flavour of masala like dum biriyani or kochi style biriyani. It felt like just try, never made a feeling like I will dine here again. but the Afghani chicken was something different. All the cashew nut paste and the masla was new to my taste buds. I ate the gravy with biriyani rice. It was good. But it will taste better with porotta or bread,Rice cake(appam).chicken was so soft and well cooked. Meet will come off the bone so nicely.you take Afghani chicken as parcel and enjoy it with few items i mentioned above. Here they also makes mutten briyani. I don't know hows that tastes.shop opens at 12 noon. most of the customer's take out parcel.

Place is very congested for dine in so we choose the take away option. Tried chicken biriyani and apricot mutton biriyani and afghani chicken. My personal choice is mutton biriyani which I like the most.

I ordered online afghan chicken after a long time since it was a favourite. Got a spilled package. Afghan chicken was a complete disappointment. It does not taste good anymore. Gravy was salty, less thick and very watery.

Don't waste your time. Biriyani is just like Hyderabad biriyani but not spicy. Quantity is enough for one person. Afghani chicken is the highlight. Soft chicken meat which is well cooked. I think it is the best match for Kerala porotta. They serve a good amount of salad along with the biriyani. Biriyani and Afghani chicken cost rs.200 each. They have a parcel and dine in facility. I visited around 1330hrs and easily managed to find a table for 3 people. Not too crowded. Parking is a bit difficult as there is very limited space at the front.

Experience new taste of biriyani. Place is lit bit cramped ans seats are limited. But in present situation it doesn't matter much that they have a good and faster parcel service. Afghani Chicken and Biriyani is highly recommended.

Some kind of new taste that I didn't experienced earlier. Biruyani rice seems like cooled well with the grained ingredients and the Afgani chicken is delicious.

After visiting Kerala for the first time in a year, I was terribly disappointed by Jeff Biryani. Afghan Chicken: 2.5 out of 5 Note: The chicken was properly cooked, although it was a little salty, and the creamy flavour was not discernible in the dish. Chicken Biryani: 2.6 out of 5 Note : Spices came first, followed by Biryani taste. The star anise had an overpowering flavour. I'm not sure if Jeff's Yemeni preparation has lost its genuineness. The meat was cooked to perfection. I hope Jeff reads my evaluation and that they return to their former culinary method. Will definitely return and try again to see if there is a difference.

Not that good as popularity known. Biriyani was too salty, Afghan chicken not that special. Space is crammed with no facilities for parking. Overall disappointing.

A one of a kind biriyani spot in kochi. For me , this is one of the best biriyani spot in kochi. I have been there various times. Apricot mutton Biriyani and Afghani chicken are my favourites and are the ones I recommend to try . Place was clean and service was great. Love the place.

Mutton biriyani was just awesome. Mutton was very tender and tasty. Afghani chicken used to be whitish colour now it's reddish colour and tested different. Didn't like Afghani chicken much.

Visited 2 days before. Afghani chicken 's ok.its rs 200.and biriyani one plate rs. 200.and extra bread cost per piece 30 rs. I don't think it's worth the money we pay. For Afghani chicken it's recomended. Biriyani overpriced.

Best biriyani l have ever tried , its really good biriyani and good flavor balance , the rice is super soft and flavourful , But l think that the price is high we tried the both chicken and mutton biriyani both are so good and mutton biriyani is must try item , At this outlet they are not providing the proper dinning space because of that they want to reduce the price at this outlet .

🫤 Food: I had this biriyani multiple times, but it has lost all its flavour. I tasted only the rice(eggtarian), it was nothing but a normal biriyani with a little bit different flavour.
