Horrible service. Everything from the start from unprofessional. Waiter tried to trick us with false price information Came barely to serve us. When the waiters finally came, they were always in a rush. Their euro exchange rate was horrible so we decided to pay via card. Waiter insisted on us tipping and became mad when we told him we weren’t going to. Food was mediocre considering the prices. Tourist TRAP! Avoid at all costs

Only good thing about this place is that my fish fillet was perfectly grilled. Other than that, this place is a total tourist trap. Everything else we tried was mediocre. They offer no menus, and when I insisted, they brought one without any prices next to each platter! Waiter insisted that we ordered standing in front of window refrigerators where appetizers were standing without any description (or price, of course), and without anyone being able to explain in basic English (just a few english words here and there). Very expensive for Turkish standards, even for a fish restaurant. I noticed a Completely different approach when it came to local (turkish) customers, which makes me believe pricing was different too.

This place is a TOURIST TRAP- Their menu does not have prices for fish entrees or Mezze's. They will ask you to order by looking at these items kept on display in a glass display room. We ended up paying £50 just for some Mezze and a fish. Luckily, that's the only thing I ordered. None of them were worth it. Don't be fooled by the positive reviews!! You don't eat fish here, You are the fish for their dinner!!

Wir wollten hier einfach nur kurz auf Toilette bevor wir eine Bootstour gemacht haben. Leider wurden wir abgewiesen was die Nutzung der Toilette angeht. Selbst gegen das Angebot Geld zu geben oder etwas zu kaufen. Sehr schade, dass man wegen einem Grundbedürfnis wofür man nichts kann abgewiesen wird.

Very nice restaurant. You can reserve a table inside or in the terrace. They offer chicken, meat, and fish based meals. there is a long list of appetizers and starters to choose from. The desserts are delicious as well. It is really worth visiting!

We were so well looked after on our first evening in Izmir that we came back on our second evening. Food was excellent both times, service was excellent both evenings. We tried different dishes but each dish was delicious. Recommend Yengec wholeheartedly.

The service and food is absolutely terrible. The fish I ordered was barely cooked and wasn't cleaned properly. We waited over an hour for the main dish and it was absolutely not worth it. The appetizers were great to be fair, and you don't have to wait at all for them. I would not suggest this place to any tourists visiting as general turkish restaurant culture is not appropriate for such. The cost is way too much for such a disappointing night. Honestly speaking, if you wish to sit here only order alcohol and enjoy the music as there is nothing else to enjoy.

Pazar gunu gittik .kalamarı favası guzeldi balık fena degildi. Karides ortalamanin altindaydı. Hepsi bir yana tecrubeli sayılabilecek bir garson bizi sürekli yersiz şakalarıyla rahatsız etti. Sakaları ve yersiz gülmelerinden cok rahatsız olduk. Fiyatta cok yuksekti. Ama en cok garsondan rahatsız olduk. Bir daha gidecegimi sanmıyorum.

In that day they were painting and was a bit too difficult to choose sitting area. Food was average and took too long to cook and serve.

If you are a tourist they charge you triple of the price. Poor service and staff were very rude. I don’t recommend to eating here.

Tourist beware!! We were over charged after complaining about price they said we were right but the prices on menu wasn’t updated..and were very rude and arrogant. We were made to pay the price they wanted!

Çok beğendim. Güzel temiz 1967'den beri hizmet veriyormuş. Mezeleri çok lezzetli.Özellikle AŞK ve CEZA mezesini tavsiye ederim.

Uzun zamandır gelip gittiğim bir mekan olup yine aynı lezzet ve kalitesi ile hizmetine devam ediyor. Sığacak ta güzel bir gün batımı için tercih edebileceğiniz en güzel mekanlardan biridir.

Nice place, but quality of food is not so nice.

Thé place is nice, meals are so so. Price should be negotiated. Be aware about V.A.T. is Not included in the price which they talked on negotiation.

Not cheap (do negotiate when you choose your fish) but for a tourist place not expensive either. About UK prices, but food excellent and service very good. Cats very cute, but will leave you alone if you don't feed them (they had our heads and tails, loved them).
