NOT
STAY
AT
THIS
HOTEL
!!
we
are
a
British
couple
who
have
been
in
Bali
for
nearly
2
months.
We
have
stayed
at
multiple
Hotels
all
over
Bali
during
July
and
August
and
most
have
been
reasonably
priced
independent
hotels
and
we
have
had
nothing
but
good
experiences
with
exceptional
customer
service.
I
booked
us
in
for
6
nights
at
the
Swiss-Belhotel
Tuban.
What
a
mistake!
I
assumed
that
this
being
a
Swiss
bell
hotel
that
the
standard
would
be
reasonably
high..
WRONG.
We
checked
in
yesterday
and
weโre
told
the
room
type
I
had
booked
was
not
available
no
double
bed
as
requested
only
a
twin
room
with
2
single
beds
available.
The
TV
did
not
work
the
picture
was
so
fuzzy
you
couldnโt
watch
it
without
getting
a
headache
the
fridge
in
the
room
also
did
not
work
it
actually
heated
up
our
water
rather
than
cooling
it.
In
addition
to
this
the
Air
Conditioning
also
did
not
function
correctly
and
was
no
more
than
a
fan
blowing
warm
air
around
the
room
so
we
spent
an
uncomfortable
night
in
a
hot
room
with
hot
bottled
water
and
no
TV.
We
were
advised
by
reception
that
we
would
be
upgraded
the
next
day
but
this
didnโt
happen.
I
was
honestly
shocked
that
when
we
raised
these
issues
to
reception
staff
we
were
told
they
were
to
busy
to
deal
with
it
and
would
call
our
room
shortly
to
resolve,
which
they
did
not.
The
staff
really
didnโt
seem
to
care.
To
make
matters
worse
when
my
wife
asked
for
a
cocktail
to
accompany
her
evening
meal
in
the
hotel
restaurant
we
were
told
they
didnโt
serve
cocktails
only
beer??
Which
is
ridiculous
as
the
list
of
available
Cocktails
was
proudly
displayed
on
the
fuzzy
hotel
TV
info
page
as
being
available
at
the
hotel
restaurant.
the
restaurant
food
was
also
very
underwhelming
they
severed
a
pizza
that
was
essentially
soggy
bread
with
tomato
purรฉe
on
it
with
hardly
any
cheese.
My
Mie
goreng
was
ok
not
the
best
but
at
least
acceptable.
The
location
of
the
hotel
is
also
not
good
for
tourists
there
is
next
to
nothing
around
the
immediate
area
of
the
hotel
accept
some
local
food
stalls
and
a
mini
mart
itโs
also
not
easy
to
walk
into
main
town
Kuta
as
the
hotel
is
situated
on
a
double
blind
bend
with
no
pavement
to
safely
walk
on
and
a
spiders
web
of
exposed
electrical
wires
dangling
down
which
we
have
seen
all
over
Bali
but
usually
over
head
these
were
the
worst
and
at
chest
hight
so
extremely
dangerous.
This
was
one
of
the
more
expensive
hotels
we
have
stayed
at
during
our
2
months
in
Bali
and
by
far
the
worst.
We
stayed
with
a
local
family
in
a
small
village
in
Karangasem
for
2
weeks
during
our
first
month
with
frequent
power
cuts
and
limited
running
water
we
even
contracted
Salmonella
poising
and
had
to
go
to
hospital
but
that
experience
was
far
better
than
this
hotel.
We
decided
to
check
out
today
after
only
1
night
of
our
6
night
stay.
When
we
told
reception
we
weโre
leaving
they
initially
didnโt
seem
to
care
that
we
were
so
dissatisfied
and
just
said
โokโ
no
attempt
to
try
to
rectify
the
issues.
When
we
asked
them
to
call
us
a
cab
to
go
to
another
hotel
suddenly
they
had
a
room
upgrade
available
for
us
but
at
this
point
I
had
enough
of
this
terrible
service
so
we
left.
My
wife
was
so
upset
by
this
whole
experience
and
this
was
our
last
week
in
Bali
and
we
have
had
such
an
amazing
time
at
so
many
other
hotels
Iโm
actually
really
angry
that
a
large
chain
hotel
would
treat
guests
like
this
and
provide
such
low
quality
accommodation
and
customer
service.
If
I
had
only
been
here
for
a
short
holiday
it
would
have
ruined
the
trip.
Avoid
this
hotel
at
all
costs.
