We arrived at 12:40pm was refused to get our booked room and was told u and the family can use the toilet to change and wait till 2pm. Mould sever in bathroom and especially the shower. Hot water very low pressure. Location good if u like Kuta. Very central. I will not book again at this place

Room is good although bit dated. Pool and garden are great. People are friendly. Check out went smooth and fast. Unfortunately check in took approximately 45 minutes. Staff kept telling us another 5 minutes, which was obviously longer. Furthermore you get a bunch of coupons for a discount. This should be a 5 star resort, not some bingo area. Could be better.

The Ramayana was a fantastic experience for us. The Stay The deluxe suites are everything you expect out of a 4-star property. It comes with a living area, kitchenette with all appliances + utensils, a comfortable bedroom along with two washrooms and a shower area and a massive balcony with two seating areas. Breakfast spread is large and variety of options for vegetarian and non-vegetarian guests. The in-house restaurant is for Indonesian cuisine, so you can try it out once otherwise eating at the resort is not an option. The pool too is pretty much accessible till late at night. The Location The resort is literally at a minutes walk to Kuta beach and the central Kuta district where all the action is. You can literally walk in any direction from the resort to eat, shop and explore. The Service Again, everything you would expect from a 4-star property. Service is excellent, prompt and courteous. The Ramayana has been a memorable stay for us. Absolutely recommended.

The staffs are serving with bright smiles, unfortunately they are not look like professional. I think the rooms are not as clean as a 4-star hotel. Equipments such as furniture, beds, doors are old and have wood chips, and spider webs and mold can be easily found. I used two rooms with my family, In one room the doorbell did not work at all, the TV remote control was broken, the Wi-Fi was so weak. The air conditioner  remote control in the other room was broken so we had a difficulty in turning it on and off. There was a lot of mold and smell in the rooms and I couldn't sleep at night since  I was catching 5 mosquitoes. The bathroom looked very old and the shower was full of something that looked like mold, so I was afraid to take  shower. Because it was the Christmas holiday season, the reception staffs were not prepared for the large number of customers visiting, so it took considerable time for check-in.

Have just spent 7 nights at Ramayana, and overall was a pleasant stay. We had a premier room, which was nice and roomy, with balcony overlooking garden, but no balcony furniture, had to request two chairs. Also, there was no hand towels in the bathroom, which are by request? unbelievable. The room had a water dispenser with hot and cold water,(much better than jug and 2 bottles of water.) A/C was great, plenty of power outlets, but pillows were terrible(as in most hotels) , no shelves or drawers, had to live out of suitcases. room 3/5 Had 2 meals in the restaurant, and on both times had to send back some elements as were cold,3/5. Overall, would stay again, the grounds and pool (and pool bar) were amazing, Staff were friendly and helpful, with any request handled promptly, could not fault. There is also a laundry where for au$10 can wash and dry 7kg of laundry, very handy. Great location, plenty of dining choices nearby close to beach. Well done Ramayana, 8/10. Forgot to mention breakfast was very good.

Very dirty hotel. Not sure why their housekeeping staff is so bad. Even after asking concierge for housekeeping and fresh towels, received nothing all afternoon until I had to go back to lobby to complain. It’s 5:30 and we just got towels to shower with. A lot of details missed and they obviously don’t care to maintain a 4 star hotel. I’ve attached a photo of a dusty door, with the right part cleaned for 5 seconds that I did with tissue, to prove that these are things that can be rectified. Literally nothing a brush and a good wipe can’t do.

Visited this place for our stay during Bali in Kuta. This place a different vibe overall. They have excellent interior with proper lights. Swimming pool to is available for guest. Earlier morning breakfast at Gabah Restaurant was included for us in our package which was the best one to start our day. The staff at this place are too courteous and helpful with whatever queries we have. Over all awesome place to stay with your beloved once.

Coming from one of the islands we had about 5 hours to spend before getting onto our flight back home.. Ramayana, which is not far from the airport, offered us to stay at the pool bar and use their facilities, (pool, shower, food and drinks) for $10.- Australian dollars.. It was absolutely beautiful and I totally recommend it as a place to stay when in Bali..

Excellent resort, location, food, service and the music in the restaurant is fabulous. The beach is at a very walking distance. The shopping market is very near. This looks like a one stop for everything.. we had a very great experience here. Very welcoming people. The resort has a swimming pool, spa, kids play area as well. The Swimming pool has a separate bar counter than the restaurant, which is great for many.

We stayed at Ramayana Resort for 6 days and the overall experience was amazing. It had good facilities and it was located in close proximity to Kuta Beach and a host of other restaurants. The staff was very friendly to us and the resort was very well maintained. The ambience too was mastered. This resort is totally worth 5 stars if we had Vegetarian food over there. The restaurant (Called Gabah) is a non-vegetarian restaurant. And that is a problem for vegetarians like us. They do serve Veg/Non-veg Breakfast but lunch and dinner is non-veg only (We're pure vegetarians who don't eat mushrooms too). So that meant we had to go out for lunch/dinner all the time. So, please add some more vegetarian options for food. Other than that, this is a beautiful resort that is totally worth visiting.

Ramayana is a great place to stay - close to all things in Kuta if that’s where you want to be, the pool is just chilly enough to cool you off in the humidity and super relaxing on the pool loungers with food and drink available direct to you throughout the day. The restaurant food is great. We had a massage included which was great but there are also much cheaper options nearby if you want more than one. The resort staff are very friendly and helpful.

Stayed at the Lumbung Suite for a night at Ramayana's. We loved the room, very cozy and balinese vibes. Toilet is huge with separate sections of bathtub, toilet and shower area. I think it was a quarter of the room. Quite a big space. Service upon check-in was great. We were invited to access the lounge as we took the suite. A few dessert options such as fruit cake and brownies. However, we did not enjoy our breakfast at Al Dente's. It was a quiet Wednesday morning and we were the only guests there for breakfast. We were quite puzzled as to why we were the only guests. We ordered breakfast and was sent to us around 20 mins after, which is quite long considering that we were the only ones there. They were limited options at the buffet area; croissants, cereal and bread options only. After our food arrived, we were disappointed as we found a hair in my husband's food. (pancakes) 2 After we left, we just realized that the other guests were at the other restaurant for breakfast instead. And we saw much more variety of food there. Regretted not going there instead. However, we came to Al Dente's as the check in staff told us to go there, not sure why. Location is great. Close to mart, shops, malls and the airport. Very convenient. Pleasant stay overall, but the breakfast was not it.

We just spent a week in a one bedroom Suite at Ramayana Suites & Resorts and we cant wait to book to go back there again next year. The Ramayana is amazing, such a quiet oasis right in the middle of Kuta, its across the road from the Kuta Art Markets and has wonderful restaurants right on your doorstep. The pool is amazing and even though there were quite a few people in the hotel the week we stayed, there was still lots of room in and around the pool. The service was amazing and our room was absolutely beautiful and very spacious. We had a lovely view over the pool but it was not noisy at night. We cant wait to go back to see all the lovely staff, especially the ladies in the Restaurant of a morning at breakfast time. Love to you all. Shane & Maria Heffernan Room 521 29th Sept to 4th Oct 2023.

An amazing hotel that is near the airport for stop-bys. Integrates greenery & concrete well with each other. Pool, restaurants & bars all within vicinity. Oh and the best part is that you can become a Disney princess. A squirrel named Dave might come say hi.

Hotel exteriors and interiors are nice but their are cons that’s their room service is very delayed and the front desk people try to act really smart. We had a 15% off coupon on food but when we tried to use it they said we’ve already given you discount which was not mentioned anywhere on the bill. Disappointed at the end of the stay.

The hotel is located at a great location right in the middle of Kuta. The hotel staff is doing their best to make your vacation enjoyable. Also the breakfast is great. They could improve their rooms and buildings in general that are fairly dated and every room should have wifi (not in case of our room). Also, the equipment of rooms can be improved - e.g. hand towel is the least you can provide.

The rooms were fine but my parents room filled with water once so they had to change room. The positive thing was the location because it's straight in the city. The hotel food is mediocre at best, the balcony is a 50/50 shot. You either get a nice view of the hotel garden or the ugly street(ask them for the garden view). The service is nice. For me the hotel is a 2,5-3 stars

Just left here yesterday and thought this hotel was fantastic in every way. Location is excellent, the staff are so accommodating, the breakfast buffet was by far the best I've ever experienced in Indonesia. Only downside was the pool was really cold but that's because it's covered in lush green gardens so I could live with that. If I ever return to Bali this is 💯% where I'll be staying

One of the most amazing experience in Bali was this resort. The place, the food, the staff; everything was just perfect. Really enjoyed my stay at Ramayana. The location of the resort was just perfect with so many food joints around it. Also, the street was filled with shops on either side for local shopping and massage parlours. It was very close to Legian Street which was like the best street for evening stroll in Bali. One must totally visit this place. The morning buffet was one of a kind with so many options on the menu you would be confused and overwhelmed. Separate options for Indian and Indonesian food. Totally recommended place.

Great location hotel. For some insane reason.. their renovation has been going on for more than a year or so.. its annoying.. and if you slept in, they have workers doing their work around the clock until 4 or 5 in the evening..

The resort is really beautiful. Close to the beaches, resturants, bars, market etc. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Rooms were clean.

Pros: lobby and pool are awesome. Very nice staff too. Cons: our room (803) was really bad. Tv was broken, the flush was making noise all night and the floor was really dirty. We were suppose to get a double bed and they gave us twin beds.

Right in the heart of Kuta. Lovely gardens, friendly staff great food. Not everything they advertise is back post covid but discount prices reflect the current situation. Resort rooms are the best we have ever experienced in Bali.

I like the room, it's very traditional but classic. The room was clean and very well maintained also it was smell super nice. The front liners were very helpful, especially concierge staff. Facilities also great, overall I had nice stay in Ramayana. But that's until I had my breakfast..oh man the restaurant staff treating me like I stay there for free. The pool staff also. Strangely, they treated white tourists very friendly. Maybe it's because I'm a local tourist?? But hey, I paid too like everyone else..hopefully, they can improve their service so all the guests can have the same great experience.

Staying here at the moment and very dissapointed in the resort. From all the reviews we have read we were expecting something really special. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised to have received a free upgrade to a Junior Suite - only problem was it is directly above the Stadium Sports Bar so the noise is terrible from the loud music of a night. The pool is freezing, so much so that there are plenty of people around the pool but no one in it which is a shame. Staff in the restaurant are lovely and can't fault them. Needs a bit of an upgrade to bring it up to the 5 Star rating that it says it is. The room we have smells old and musty, a big dissapointment. Have stayed at lower rated resorts and enjoyed my time more than here. Asked to change rooms only to be moved further down the floor we are on and still near the Sports Bar.Checking out early and booking elsewhere.
