Interesting and worth visiting not only for believers from a historical point of view. From the museum there is a direct entrance to the cathedral through the internal courtyard of the museum.

Portraits of bishops is not what I expected. Not worth my 3 euros.

A very interesting place. Very interesting exhibitions and exhibits. A place for art connoisseurs. First of all, there are wonderful and valuable paintings, sacred sculptures of great historical value. You will see precious gold and silver liturgical items. Great carved old furniture as well. I visited the museum in January 2015. I recommend it.

(Translated by Google) A very nice building, but "sacred art" unfortunately consists of 90% of portraits of bishops - rather modern and not very interesting (added in the photos). Plus monstrances and sculptures. The museum is free, including visiting the cathedral.

(Translated by Google) Very neat and well maintained, you climb the stairs after visiting the cathedral. They are various rooms with different works. It deserves. Merita .

Collection is more interesting for its historical importance than artistic. It is also the only way to see the whole cathedral. Don't miss: once outside, hidden in a corner at the far side of the main facade is a little booth that sells tickets for €1.50 to climb the tower (162 steps or use the lift) to great views of city & ocean. The bells are up there, too, for a dramatic--loud--marking of the hour!
