Four years ago this museum was a five star rating for us but on our visit in August 2022 there was only disappointment. This used to be a wonderful museum with interactive learning possibilities and experiences and you could easily spend all day there without ever getting bored and wanting more time there. At present the majority of things are only to look at, space wasted and few interactive experiments. Many items were broken or didn't work properly and in comparison with four years ago very few. Explanations and instructions missing and very little to stimulate young minds. A cafeteria now in the process of being built in the museum will also take up much needed space where science and technology should be the priority. Considering Infront of the museum are cafeterias and restaurants it seems a bad choice for both the museum and the plaza, and a complete waste of money for the museum. Even the staff seemed bored and unmotivated and I'm not surprised. Such a shame. I hope that in future the museum makes better choices and investments because this museum used to be an absolute gem but is now just a disappointment.

Great place if you like science and technology. Place was almost empty on a Sunday, around noon. For me biggest problem was the fact that most writing is in Spanish. Some exhibits have translation but not more than 20% I would say. You can use Google translate with the camera but it takes time. Fighter jet is for sure best feature there. 6€ for the ticket is worth paying.

This fabulous museum is a whole experience, from its interactive installations, to the engaging planetarium, the 3D cinema, or the different simulators that they have on display. There's just so much to see and do. It's accessible to anyone looking for an entertaining, enlightening experience, with friends or family. Almost every installation is presented both in Spanish and in English. Regarding the staff, they are a group of lovely, professional people whose kindness and predisposition to guide and share facts just make the visit to this museum even better. You can even leave the place and come back on the same day without having to buy a new ticket. No matter how many times I visit this place, I always discover or learn something new. I totally recommend it to everyone.

Museum is not that big. There are multiple floors but they do not take up the whole area. Some parts feel old and do seems to have much purpose (or are broken). It looks like the experience would be great for kids with a guide. We joined in for a show in the planetarium, but it was one of the smaller more lower cost ones with a single projector. It lacked brightness and wasn't really impressive.

The natural science museum in Las Palmas is worth a visit if you are into brain puzzles, optical illusions, physics and math. It’s a very active museum with a lot of stuff to try out for yourself. Some installations could use a polish but most of them are fine and working. The entrance fee is very low (6€ adult 3€student) so I guess there on a thought budget. The nature part is missing out a bit, just a few bad kept skeletons but the nature 3D movie (English/Spanish) was actually really cool! Very friendly stuff!

This is a great place to go with kids over 3. It has a very playful and interactive theme running throughout. The staff are fantastic and the prices are very affordable compared to other attractions in the area. Plenty to see and the tickets are valid all day. Highly recommend.

:) Still really good. We miss a few exhibits that they used to have - the free / extra gyroscope experience especially - the robot coaster is a really neat alternative and has various levels of speed and rotation you can request beyond average :). You do have an additional charge for the robot coaster. Clean, well presented, staff professional, informative and helpful. We got lucky to have the place almost to ourselves last Sunday afternoon. Of course when the museum is empty it is a lot easier to pass through quickly and you miss the extra experience of watching others learn and explore. Highly recommended, especially for kids. Bonus: Air conditioning throughout :)

Fantastic museum. Really interactive, suitable for all ages. My 5 year old found it fascinating. Great that you can come and go through the day, so we split our visit in two and came back later in the day to watch the 3d film and visit the planetarium. Very well priced given what is available.

Great place to visit visiting! Only down side would be exhibition writing in Spanish. Nice exhibition of fighter jet and you can easily spend hour or hour and half there

Good place for children and good price in entrance. A lot of thematics in one mueum: plane, space, dinosaure, biology, volcanic stones, ... Some fun for children. You can spend 2 or 3 hours there, and maybe more, to have a tour. People are very kind and helpful. Unfortunately, everything is in spanish. No other language is available :(

Its good if you have kids to entertain otherwise not very informative Good parts: For kids some video games like VR, car simulator and space shuttle simulator Some basic information which you can learn is about human and animal body What can be done better: More explanation on the things, how things work, and inspiring kids Overall not for adults who don’t have kids

Great learnings for adults and kids. There are different subjects from biology to geometry. Very spacious that allows self experimenting. Numerous exhibitions are also there. Both fun and educational. The price is very good in comparison to what they offer. Would have been even better when they add more explanations and subtitles in English.

Children loved this museum, so much we visited twice in one week.

Most of the ground floor was not viewable due to ongoing work, unfortunately for us, this had the most interesting parts. We weren't advised on entry and I didn't see this on their website. Otherwise, the rest of the exhibits were great. Lots of interactive materials. Unfortunately only some of the exhibits have English descriptions but thankfully with translator apps, this was more a nuisance than anything. Overall, it was good and only €6 per adult.

Our family got great value out of the museum. 7 & 4 year old we’re very interested in all the exhibits & it’s very interactive (nice because you don’t have to tell them to stop touching everything!) Sparked lots of great conversations. They had a origami exhibit on as well which was very impressive and a demo too! The gentleman who was doing the demo was so patient, kind and funny with the kids — we could have stayed for another hour! I’d say it might be the highlight of the trip for the kids haha and we got to bring our little origami frogs home — it was a cool lesson. All the staff were nice and you can go in & out as it suits which is good - we got some food then watched the planetarium show which was cool! (And not too long!) Everything was in Spanish but I could do the google translate the photos into English which was handy but multi lingual would have made it a bit easier for me & the kids!

Fantastic little museum that focuses on interactive displays and activities to get their message across. I thought I would be done in an hour but ended up spending 3 hours there watching 3D films, entering the planetarium and being part of the superb house of the future robot presentation. Lots to see and do for both children and adults alike.

Really cool museum, with several floors. Lots for kids to interact with. There’s a VR for exploring Egyptian tombs or walking on a skyscraper. Theres a planetarium dome, that has shows every half hour or so, that last around ten minutes. There are other 3D movies. futuristic life demonstrations showing how the future may look, and loads more. If you’re in the area, especially with kids, then definitely check this place out, they will enjoy it for a few hours. Staff were brilliant too, more than happy to show you around or help with VR etc.. definitely worth it 👍

I'm over 65 so entrance was only €2. The museum covers 4 floors with everything from jet engines to dinosaurs. Information plaques are in Spanish but trusty Google Translate makes the experience great. Well worth a visit when in Las Palmas.

this was great... we spent hours there with small children and would love to visit again... fun, interesting, exploring, adventure, learning, discoveting, having nice time together as a family

Great scientific museum with many hands on exhibits, unfortunately many of the exhibits were only in Spanish but you can use Google translate to listen or read in your language, we spent 3 hours, plenty of informative fun, highly recommended!

The museum was fun for the kids 6 and 9 yrs. All signs are in Spanish so hard to get the full experience. The shows are also in Spanish so make sure you ask about other languages. We asked about English and then did an extra show just for us. Able to come and go as you please in the same day. Fun to look around then leave to eat and come back when activities and shows start 16-19.30

It’s a fantastic museum for family with young kids and teenagers. They have a wide range of science experiments and puzzles. The fighters jet is awesome. The robot is interactive and the Xbox games really engaging. They even have virtual reality for simulating an situation when you are on a plank of wood on a high-rise building. We had a great time there. They allow you to go out of the museum and go back in on the same day. We went out for lunch and went back in to see more demonstrations. It’s right beside the kids play area too.

Great place to visit. You can see different technology, modern one and from the past. There are several experiments connected to electricity and physics which are nice to see and you can do them on your own.

6€ for adults, so it's very cheap. I think they were one restructuring when we were there, so it was missing a lot. The fighter jet cockpit and rally simulator was really cool. But the rest felt lacking. If it wasn't for the price I would give it three stars.

A very nice and interesting museum. It's clearly focused on children and younger people but also jnteresting for students and parents. It only costs a few euros, it is definitely worth it.

  • 4/5 Dennis W. 2 years ago on Google
Very interactive and affordable. You can sit in an F5 fighter cockpit and try out some VR as well as an awesome drifting/racing simulator (my personal highlight). Make sure to watch the film about the universe in the "planetarium".

The museum is interesting for adults and children. I was impressed by the large number of exhibits that can be interacted with. Loved the friendly staff. In addition, the solution with the online audio guide was interesting.

Very interesting museum, much better than we expected for a tourist area. Highly recommend trying the 'walk the plank' virtual reality and sitting in the fighter jet cockpit. Don't miss the slightly hidden entrance to the airliner fuselage. A great day out and a good picnic area in the park outside. Parking is easy, behind the museum and cheap.

a great place to spend the whole day! interesting and interactive games for kids, planetarium, technology and science in four walls! :) absolutely recommended, cheap even for non-residents.

Maybe do to Covid-19 they utilized the period to refurbish the place, so the available exhibition was not so big. However due to the low entrance fee still worth the visit. Enough for 2 hour visit.

Good museum if you are taking kids. Be aware when you visit if exhibitions are not closed - most were when I visited on March 2022. There is some educational information for the little ones, but overall it is a shallow experience. Entrance for foreigners for 6 euros.

  • 4/5 Santiago T. 1 year ago on Google
Good value for money. It is a cheap entrance and they have some interesting things and experiments around science. Good for families.

  • 4/5 André de K. 1 year ago on Google
Interesting museum for a short visit when in the neighbourhood. Hardly any information in English. We have spend about 1 hour. For visitors speaking Spanish with children certainly more attractive.

If you don't know how to spend a couple of hours on a cloudy day, this is the perfect place. Could be a 5 star if they gave more information to foreign tourists, at the entrance they don't have personnel to explain where to go and what to see, you need to rely on your intuition. You have a cinema 3D with a short documentary on Australian crocodiles running every hour and the planetarium running every hour as well. Enjoy!

6euro an adult, 4 euro a child. Kids sitting in full sized fighter jets, VR experience, planetarium, so much to do. Well worth a visit. Just opposite the aquarium, we went after a d spent two hours there, it totally immersed the kids.
