Employees are great! Especially Mohammed, Donnie and Michelle. However…. I was admitted but went from the ER to a hallway! It’s been hours. It’s awful! So uncomfortable. I’ve been on a gurney since I got here yesterday. I have a bad neck and spine and I’m in so much pain. If it weren’t for your great employees I’d have left AMA. No TV, call button or even a plug to charge my phone. I hope I don’t get charged for a room I never got. I won’t come back here again. Day two… am still in the hallway. Have to use the restroom and there’s no one to be found. There’s a restroom about 6ft away but apparently it’s for employees, however it doesn’t specify that. But we can’t use it. Have to walk a long way to get to one we can use. I have decided to leave AMA if they don’t discharge me today. It’s 415a now and if I can take my IV apart I’m gonna use that restroom! This is ridiculous. I’ve never seen anything like this before and I’m OLD! (68 will be 69 in a few days.

Got transferred to Valley Hospital for an emergency gallbladder removal surgery, and everything went so smoothly. The doctors and nurses were all kind and informative and I never felt like I was a burden to anyone while being there. I appreciate the care that I was given and would absolutely return to Valley for any future issues, should they ever occur. Very pleased with my experience. They made it as easy and as pleasant for me as possible. Thank you Valley Hospital!

Absolutely amazing experience.. I found myself needing emergent assessment of what were quite concerning symptoms. My nurse, Kylie was not only professional & skilled but also empathetic & caring. My PAC, Rebecca was knowledgeable & quick to coordinate the tests and consultants I needed. She explained everything every step of the way, listening & considering my concerns. Everyone I encountered from registration, Selena, the gentleman from CT, Chris (who explained what to expect) to the gentleman from MRI ( Julius) who was knowledgeable & also explained what to expect to the clinical supervisor, Theresa were compassionate & efficient. Very impressive team. Thankful & happy Valley Hospital’s ER team is here if I ever need emergent treatment.

The staff was professional, kind, accommodating, and friendly. I had a broken toe on the first day of a business trip, and they were able to quickly assess me and get X-Rays done. The doctor gave me a lot of information on how to take care of my injury. The nurse was very attentive and incidentally recommended a fabulous place for lunch (we hadn’t eaten all day). The place was Carson’s Kitchen, and the fried chicken skin with smoked honey was amazing!

The nurses are some of the most professional, caring, patient people here . I was so afraid and overwhelmed with what was going on with me , the ER nurse assigned to me helped me focus on my breathing and assisted me in calming myself so that my condition didn't worsen. I was transferred upstairs to a private room where the nurses assigned were like angels. They made sure all of my needs were met with compassion and professionalism. There was a gentleman who came into my room to give me a breathing treatment. He not only completed the procedure, he actually stayed and talked with me for about 15 minutes. Wow, I felt so much more comfortable knowing the staff here at Valley Hospital will go above and beyond their duties to make sure patients receive the best care. I will return if I ever need medical assistance in the future. Thank you so much.

The Residents, Nurses and all of the supporting staff were absolutely amazing. They explained very step, very friendly and made my stay an enjoyable experience under the circumstances. I applaud each and everyone of them. They are amazing and are TRULY doing heroic work during these horrible times and ALWAYS with a smile. God Bless each and everyone of them. Stay safe and keep up the AWESOME work!

My mother had been taken care of so well in the SICU: nurses being gentle with her, check-ins from the heads of the department, friendly physical therapists. No complaints for the care here.

  • 1/5 Idalia D. 2 years ago on Google
I have been here in the past and so has my mother. It used to be ran with so much compassion and very professionally. However since the pandemic and having my mother there twice I've experienced so much rudeness from the staff and one of the charge nurses there. I give you a 1 star Valley Hospital on Shadow Lane because of the way my mother has been treated and for the decency of requesting a call from a doctor or a nurse to give a report or update on my mother. If anyone from the Corporate Office is reading this please hire compassionate people not anyone from the streets. I don't know what is going on there but the service and friendliness has gone down to a 1 in my opinion. Please teach your staff empathy. Our loved ones our families are there in their care, they need to look at if it was their own loved ones.

Checking in was easy and quick and the people very friendly. It was a long walk to the next step and had I known I would have requested a wheelchair. I was taken back to my cubicle right away and the nurse that was looking over me was awesome. Professional, friendly, made me feel very comfortable. My surgery went well. However my time in the recovery room was not awesome. I felt neglected and when ask for assistant I felt it was an annoyance. Too bad as the rest of my experience that was very good.

This time was a better experience than we were expecting considering the situation. I'm happy that everybody listened and I'm extremely happy that even the nurses in the intensive Care unit took their time out to explain things and made things not so hectic or scary. I would also like to know how do I get onto the details of the care and the medications he was on exactly through their website it'd be much appreciative somebody could help me out but yes this hospital has improved except when somebody says they're going nuts with the next patient next door to them they should actually listen instead of ignore the patient because my husband ended up leaving early instead of finishing out his antibiotic course but that's his prerogative his problem but maybe you should take it into consideration when somebody is able to be conscious and has to hear that you weren't even able to stand that sound you were on the other side of the hall so think about it next time other than that awesome job you guys thanks 👍🏻

Outpatient Surgery staff is always great! From the surgery front desk to the nurses and doctors everyone is great and really cares. Admitting needs improvement. Surgery asked if I could come earlier and I did. Both myself and surgery staff advised them and they still had me wait until my original check in time. I waited 1 hour in admitting with just 1 person in front of me. Otherwise great experience!

I have been admitted to several hospitals over the past few years regarding the same problems that I have suffered when I was admitted to your hospital. I can honestly say I had the best nurses ever. They were friendly and made jokes with me. They were very quick to answer my call button. Honestly, they were sincerely helpful and truly cared about how I was doing. They are just the nicest people I’ve ever known. I am so grateful for those nurses that I had. The only names that I can remember right now from the surgical ICU is, Sarah, Matthew, Angela, Anushka. Again, the staff that attended to me made all the difference in the world.

My mom went into the ER for a dog bite but Valley found a deeper heart issue! Mom was in ICU for almost 2 weeks. She had the best care I could ask for. She had a dedicated nurse with her 24/7. Shout out to Aerial, Tim and Nicole in the Surgical ICU as they really gave my mom amazing care. You guys are truly angels!

The doctors and nurses were all outstanding. I couldn't have asked for better. They were all very professional yet personable and answered any questions I had. I pretty much knew just what to expect. It would have been nice though if my husband could have gotten updates so that he wasn't so stressed out waiting. He didn't learn about the screen with the patient number on it until I was almost ready to go home. Also, the bathrooms could use a little extra attention since there are so many people using them. All of them were not clean.

I was not satisfied with the fact that I had to stay in the ER from the time I came in until the next day. I will say the nurse that took care of me did everything he could to make me comfortable. Once I was moved up to the fourth floor, life became much better. To all the nurse's that took care of me they should be commended for an excellent job. They truly are the best.

Super happy with my visit at Elite Medical Center! I was taken to a room as soon as I got there, doctor came in shortly after, as well as other nurses and staff. The X-Ray tech Art was amazing. So kind and patient. Explained exactly what I needed to do each time and thanked me for simple compliance. Overall, everyone was kind and I was in and out fairly quickly!

From the moment I walked in the door, I had nothing but a pleasant experience. Admissions,, Radiology, pre-op, surgery and discharge, every employee, nurse, technician and physician was professional and courteous. I have been to just about every hospital in Las Vegas and this one has been the friendliest, well organized and best run so far. I even got a card from the surgical staff thanking me for allowing them to serve me! A touch of class.

I had a great experience at Valley Hospital. Registration and pre-op were quick and efficient. On the day of my procedure my husband and I were greeted when we walked in and shown exactly where we needed to go. Nurses and staff were friendly and they took great care of me. I also was not rushed out of recovery and was allowed to take the time I needed to get ready to leave. I felt calm and comfortable throughout the process. I would go to Valley Hospital again for any future medical needs.

My first observation when I walked into the door was how clean the hospital was. There was only a 5-minute wait for me to be seen and checked in. The people that helped me were kind genuinely concerned very helpful and gentle. From admission to discharge it was a very seamless and smooth experience. I also liked that it seemed that all the different disciplines and specialties talked to each other so everyone was on the same page. Bravo valley hospital bravo!!

For being in a hospital it was a very good experience all the nurses were caring and supportive. The doctors were understanding and actually listen to what was going on with me. The food was good. It was really uncomfortable staying in the ER for a day and a half once I got to a room it was much better. Thank you for taking such good care of me.

My husband was hospitalized jan. 3 and discharged Jan 5. I would like to thank the nurses like Tammi, Candace, Mary Ann, Kent, Dr. Garcia Rodriguez, the neurologist seeing my husband and everyone that took care of him. Very impressed of the care we received. Definitely I would like to give this hospital 5 stars. Thank you despite of this covid 19 pandemic we are dealing. Thank you again for taking care of my husband Richard Olson.

I had my surgery performed at this facility the Valley Hospital and i may say that staff are all enormously wonderful people. They’re all very caring and attentive to all my needs. I was so impressed of how the people that had that ultra sound machine that injected my veins were so careful and very professional. I love them . Keep it up Valley Hospital. Take care of all your wonderful staffs.

I love this place Dr.Flanning & several others saved my life last year. I was in the emergency room 2 days ago. I made it there by ambulance. The EMT Craig was cool but he poked me twice. I cried. Skylar the other EMT made me feel better instantly. My stay was from 4 to 11:20. My nurse Cristina was so nice & did her job. My other nurse was not nice, she didn't follow procedure or protocol. In the process of getting discharged she told me to have a seat in the lobby. I waited 1hr /& half. In that time period she managed to lose my personal belongings & I still have my id bracelets on. I'm greatful to be alive. Thank you for letting me share my experience. I love My mom & Onespot.

My stay there at Valley Hospital after I had major surgery was kind of up and down, good and bad. First of all my two bags that I had brought one of them they gave me for my clothes plus my purse were missing when I recovered from the anesthesia. I was constantly asking can somebody please get me my purse to me, they did not retrieve my personal property and my purse for about three hours as they said they would have somebody go get it, of course that made me very uneasy. Some of the staff we’re really kind some of them not so much but I understand that profession very well as I was on the other side of the desk before in the medical field. I imagine that the hours are very long and stressful demands are put on their shoulders being understaffed. Unfortunately also when I got home I realized my gold toe ring on my left foot it was no longer there on my toe. The staff has thieves. It had to of happened after the doctor left me in the hands of whoever while I was trying to come out of the anesthesia. My gold toe ring could not be removed by me or anybody without tools to open it up and remove from my toe, probably done with two pliers or some tools of the sort that are kept in the surgery room where I was having some drilling done in my cervical area and hardware implemented. Both of my rings on my ring fingers were covered with tape by the the nurses or staff of some sort and those remained intact because my gold and diamond rings are not able to come off at all as they are way too tight for somebody to try to slip off my fingers luckily. I just say out of all the hospitals that I have been in which there are plenty here in Las Vegas, Valley Hospital in Las Vegas is the lowest on my list to stay. Understaffed, thieves and weary rude nurses i’ll put your food down next to you without even letting you know that it is there getting cold because I could not see that high onto the top of the food tray

I was there for Pulmonary Function Tests. The lady who checked me in downstairs was a delight. Mel performed my test. He was so knowledgeable and professional and yet so easy to talk to. He also explained my preliminary results in a way I could understand. My visit was great.

Upon arriving I was kindly greeted at the front desk and checked in immediately. I was then escorted to a secondary check in which was at a window and ensured all correspondence and procedures were accounted for. The young lady at the window called and had my provider come down to pick me up and from there I was escorted to the medical exam room and given a thorough explanation of what exam would be conducted. After that initial exam I was escorted down to a second location and given a second separate exam. I was treated with care and great hospitality. As a veteran I was very appreciative.

The entire staff was very informative and helpful. Everyone was very professional and wanted to make sure I understood everything that was going on. The recovery staff was on top of everything at all times making sure I was warm to making sure I was breathing when my count would drop. My first time there and wouldn't hesitate to go there if necessary again.

Pre-surgery was great. RN was very thorough and explained everything. Surgery RN was great. Explained the whole process. Post surgical was okay. Did not provide enough information on what needed to be done once home. Catheter was placed real high. No large bag for overnight. Leg bag slid down leg I think part of the tubing came out.

I checked in a crowed emergency room, ( 6/3/22 @ 23:46pm). However the staff and the physician on staff ( emergency department care team) worked diligently seeing, testing and treating everyone there in a timely manner. I was really impressed 👏 👌 The team members were very patient, passionate, professional and so caring about their patients. I really enjoyed witnessing the interactions between the members and patients. If I ever have any other emergency concerns, I am definitely visiting Valley Hospital again!!!

Great welcome person. Nurses were helpful. I fee the doctor could have told me what the medication was that he was giving me as no one explained what the medication was for until I asked and googled it. Person just came in to hand me prescription and discharge paperwork, no follow up from first encounter with dr or nurse. Not even sure who the person was who gave me my paperwork. My nurse was raven and she was pleasant.

From the ER to my room on the second floor in med Telly everyone was so pleasant and explained everything. The doctors were very informative. The nurses, nursing assistance, and the ancillary personnel were all very friendly and explained everything they were doing. The room was pleasant, clean, and if you have to be in the hospital, this is the place.

I arrived in ER on Sunday, 9/10 I was scared. Everyone from the paramedics to the surgeon have been wonderful. I had a very large private rooms during my stay. The surgeon Lovett and his team saved my life. I am new to Vegas and this health system, so I was having such a hard time adjusting to so many people poking my body daily was mentally and physically exhausting. I am happy the charge nurse and Julia listened to my concerns. They really heard me and surprised me with 5 get well cards from the staff and strawberry 🍓 milkshake. I was very pleased and happy they cared about their patients care and happiness. I would recommend this place Nurse Jessica, Patricia, PT Matt recommending good Thai and sushi places Ari, Chris, crystal Julie. Shout out to Frances and her team from ICU too. Thank you to everyone for making my stay so pleasant. 💕

From the moment I walked in the hospital I was greeted with a smile from Patience, who helped me locate admissions. As I walked down the hall I was greeted with good morning numerous times. The kind and loving admission officer greeted me with "good morning sunshine". The lovely admitting nurses Lina and Kelly treated me with smiles and they gave me five star treatment. Doctor Nishiama came to check on me before surgery, which comforted me greatly. After surgery Christen and Ty looked after all my needs with 5 star service. The delicious lunch and dinner I was served was restaurant quality comfort food. I recommend this 5 star hospital to all.

Disappointed in the treatment at this hospital. My sister-in-law was there several times for emergencies due to a gallbladder problem. With the application of morphine and medications to relieve the pain, they sent her home. As the days passed, his gallbladder became inflamed and infected. She had to run to another hospital for emergency treatment and emergency surgery. The truth is I don't know what kind of analysis they do on patients before sending them home without paying careful attention to their conditions. This really seemed like an act of negligence on the part of this medical institution. And it wasn't about whether or not she had health insurance; because we had; It is about attention to basic care for people. My sister-in-law could no longer walk, her belly already looked like a 3-month pregnant woman and she also had a greenish color to her skin and so they sent her home. Negligent and inhumane this service in this hospital. How sad

I came in the Emergency room and they took me back fairly quick. Turns out I had appendicitis. Every nurse in the observation unit that was there to help me for the week I was there was amazing. They were all friendly and was patient with me. I really do appreciate it. Only issue I had was that getting discharged took forever due to my prescriptions not being sent in right away, was told I was being discharged but then was finally let go 4 hours later.

The staff in Valley Hospital are so wonderful. Words cannot really describe there kindness efficiency and great personalities. They were all such fun and yet doing their jobs so well. I had my procedure and was allowed to go home that same day. I had undergone a total hysterectomy with a splash of gut blast (they clean the area). The staff seems friendly. The hospital Is huge but they make it easy to find the section you need to go. They also have huge waiting rooms

Outstanding service from registration to discharge. I can't tell you how impressed I was with the services provided to my husband. The employees there were compassionate and caring. Unlike our previous stay at Saint Rose Siena campus(hospital visit from hell). If you're seeking to be well cared for, kept fully informed, and be treated with dignity and respect then this is a Hospital for you. I hope we don't have to return anytime soon but if we do, we will be returning here. Special thanks goes out to Imelda and Emma in CLOP and Chelsea and Ty who took care of my husband in rm 306. Chelsea you are an ANGEL and the definition of what an OUTSTANDING nurse is! May you be blessed many times over for the job you do.

Had exceptional care by a wonderful staff! A special shout out to the wonderful nursing staff on the ICU floor. I’m sorry I didn’t think to write their names down and though I remember most names, I don’t want to forget anyone. I was in room 18 (according to my daughter), so you know who you are, ladies! I cannot speak highly enough about the entire staff. Thank you so much for all the care, kindness, patience, cheer and help!

I arrived at the ED at about 0330 and was immediately cared for. Even though you could tell people were busy, the paramedics, nurses, technicians, and a doctor had come and spoken with me within my first 10 minutes of being there. Everyone was amazing and kind and they kept me updated on everything. Once I was moved to a bay, they immediately started treatment and were so incredibly patient and understanding. Every single person I had an interaction with (even if it was just passing in the hall for scans) was so freaking nice. With how busy they were and I wasn’t even an emergent triage, they listened to everything I said and treated me incredibly. Every single person was so respectful and understanding. It was the best experience in a hospital I had ever had. They made sure I was comfortable and did their absolute best to make sure I was taken care of and had what I needed. And when I didn’t even have a ride home since I had come in an ambulance, I said I would call an Uber or something and the nurse who was discharging me said “oh no, I’m calling you a lift.” Within 5 minutes I had a ride home. I didn’t get anyone’s names but I wish I had! 10/10 across the board💛

I had a hysterectomy today 9/20/23 Awesome Resignation, Surgery and P. A. T. Areas!! I can’t begin to thank them on how they were professional and “really” about their patients” and each other ****** Valley should give each area an award and be recognized on their work with patients customer service skills!! ******* Problem: on the the Current Treatment page area : it lists three medical issues I’m currently being treated for *** Two of those medical issues ARE NOT TRUE Records Manager told me the wrong information was entered by a Valley Hospital RN. Since, it was a Valley Hospital Nurse who put the wrong information into my record, he will have a RN Supervise delete the wrong information in my record .

The very second I entered Valley Hospital ER I met the COVID screening lady and honestly she was the first person who set everything in motion for me. She was 10000% very nice and very professional even though it was cold by the door but let me tell you they had a huge heater to keep their staff warm. But honestly everyone was very nice and professional & caring. My surgeon had an Emergency so I will be back very soon and I have no idea my treatment will be the same. Valley Hospital was very pleasant, clean, the Staff very kind. In my book Vally Hospital is #1

Staff was amazing. I had to have surgical procedure to remove a large mass off a ovary. When I checked in, the person immediately made me feel at ease. After I had my surgery, the nurses and staff that took care of me so well! I even got my own private room to recoup in. I been at other hospitals and can't say it was as postive a experience as I had at Valley hospital. You will get really good quality care if you choose Valley Hospital.

I went in for two back surgeries. During that time complications arose and what had been a normal procedure turned into quite a battle. The entire time I was there I was treated with respect dignity and diligence by every staff member that was involved in my care and treatment. I have only great things to say about the crew. I felt like a true patient and not just another case. I would like thank each and everyone involved with my care personally. Thank you! {Ernest to some) Hank to others.

I've been to Valley Hospital on a few occasions and they take Great Care of me. When given the option on where to go, I go to Valley Hospital. Their E/R is the best and staffed with really good people who care. The Dr.s and staff all have a great bedside manner. I hate going to the hospital, but when I do, I go to Valley Hospital - The best in Vegas. . .

Very caring and efficient. They took very good care of me when I went in for surgery (outpatient). They made sure I understood everything that was and was going to happen. Everyone was very upbeat and jovial. Kept a smile on my faces during both pre-op and surgery day. Couldn't have asked for better staff nor cleaner facilities.

I recently had outpatient surgery at Valley Hospital, and cannot say enough about the exemplary care I received. Everyone was friendly professional, compassionate from registration to recovery. You can tell that the staff cares for their patients and love doing their job which you don’t find it many hospitals in Las Vegas. I received care from Valley staff before, and they always go above and beyond to take care of their patients. I have to mention Flo in admitting, Karen my nurse in pre op, Maryann, in recovery, and everyone else that provided care(I do apologize for not remembering everybody’s). Thank you for taking such great care of me!

Nurses are super, but at night are no physician available. I had three physician on my case, got three different diagnoses, and was sent home with pain meds. The nurses get 5 stars the physician get 3 or less stars. No treatment plan. On my last night at this hospital I was for three solid hours from 10.00 pm until 1.00 am in so high pain that I yelled out and tossed around in bed. I do not blame the nurses, they follow instruction. ER is chaotic. there are not enough beds for the people. I arrived at the hospital around 10.00 am and had to sit in a chair in the hallway until 5.00 pm until a gurney became available and I was moved into a hospital room after 8.00 pm. This needs improvement.

The doctors, nurses and staff are okay. Nice people. However, to pay and even get to have my surgery was hell. I went in to pay my company for my surgery early so it would be done. I spoke to the clerk and she said I had to pay at least half down before my surgery. Being that I was on unemployment at the time I needed to make payments. I made to first payment. I came back the following week to make another payment ans was told they had already sent my payment to insurance to be billed and I needed to reschedule my surgery because I didn’t pay the full balance in time! I scrambled to get another surgery date because you have to have your labs done within 15 days or you have to pay to get them done over. So now it’s my surgery day and I’m going to pay the balance. There were no notes in my profile about any payments that were made and they still have the incorrect balance of what I owe them. I did end up having my surgery but when it was over. It was an out patient procedure. When I woke up I was told my wife spoke to the surgeon and had all the information. Well no one spoke to my wife nor me so I don’t even know how the surgery went! If you can avoid this hospital for surgery. Choose UMC or Henderson. Way better care.

I had to undergo a pretty nerve wracking procedure that I’ve been dreading since I’ve made the appointment The staff there was extremely patient & sweet with me. Explained everything I needed to do prior to the op. The nurses & techs who did the procedure were extremely accommodating & nice! I wasn’t expecting to genuinely like the people working on me. It was such a relief to have a really nice group of people do this procedure. It’s just easier to trust people who make you feel comfortable. I wish I remembered everyones names. Prasad was my main dr who is always fantastic. I remember a nurse, Lucy who was literally so sweet. I really liked her. & there were 3 other guys who I wish I could remember. Everyone there made it a priority to make sure I was comfortable before going under. The whole thing was as easy as it could get. I never thought I’d write a review for a hospital, but everyone there who helped me deserves a huge shout out!

I recently had surgery at Valley Hospital. I was in terrible pain. The minute I stepped into the hospital I received first class service. The nurses that helped me on the second floor were incredible—Marc, Katya, and Isabel. Thank you for the great service. It changed my life for the better.

The team at Valley ER was very professional and very kind. They were able to take some of the concerns I was having away. As a medical professional and also a previous Valley hospital employee it was great to see the tradition of providing outstanding care and service excellence to all was still there. Thank you Minnie, Stephanie and my amazing ER Tech. You guys made a very difficult situation a little easier. Sherrita Williams

Brought my father here for a pulmonary function test and the service was great. Admitting we’re very nice and accommodating. Mandy the respiratory therapist who helped my dad with his pulmonary test was very informative and caring to me and my father. She took her time to explain the test and what the numbers meant and answered all our questions. Mandy was a great patient advocate!

Am very pleased with the care I received at Valley Hospital Medical Center for the removal of a ganglion cyst on my right hand. Everyone was good at their job and had a great attitude. If I needed surgery again I would most definitely go there. Dr. Carl Williams is a very caring person and makes you feel very comfortable.

Everything about my experience at Valley Hospital for my EGD procedure was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!! The check in with Flo was so smooth, then I headed to surgery and Tracy was my nurse...when I say she was phenomenal, that doesn't even say enough. I was in and out and felt completely taken care of the entire time. I wish I was having my upcoming surgery at Valley!! Thanks for the best experience at a hospital, because lets face it, hospitals aren't always known for positive experiences. Valley is the BEST!

Best experience and care. Everyone was very personable and kind. ICU care the best. Shout out to Brandon Jamie and Leo in ICU and Kari on the 3rd floor. I have absolutely no complaints and received more than I expected from a hospital experience. Also heart personal above and beyond. Will not hesitate to use Valley hospital if needed again.

My feelings are mixed. I thought it was odd that they screen for Covid, yet there was a very ill patient in the lobby with the rest of us, and she said she's tested positive for Covid. What's the point of pre-screening if you don't separate anyone afterwards? Then, while sitting in the overcrowded room, I overheard a woman say she'd been there for 3 hours and hadn't been seen yet. That's when i remembered you can check ER Wait Times online. On Valley's site, they listed a 13 minute wait time. It took an hour for me to be seen the first time by triage, so I'd say they're manipulating the process used to determine the wait times. Once I got pulled back, everybody was super friendly despite being short staffed and overworked. Gave 2 stars for the nurses and PA. They're definitely assets to the company. Probably would've given 4 stars if they had handled the Covid lady differently. I'm not even overconcerned about Covid, but that just seemed all wrong.

My experience at Valley Hospital was extremely positive! Debra, my nurse was very friendly, upbeat & caring! My recovery nurse Kristen was very compassionate, attentive, empathetic and took great care of me! Also, thank you to my anathesiologist who was comforting along with the 4 very caring nurses who assisted in my surgery. But most of all I’d like to sincerely thank Dr.Wasserman for his extreme professionalism, bedside manner and walking me through my procedure. He is very loved by his staff as they all spoke so highly of him and I feel very blessed to have him as my Doctor! THANK YOU Dr. Wasserman!!

I went to Valley Medical for an emergency ultrasound over the weekend and was very well taken care of. Their entire staff is accommodating, patient, and polite. Not to mention they go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable. One of their lab techs (Lawrence F.) was very sweet and brought me a plethora of snacks and a blanket because I was cold. Also - they give you your results via online portal which makes it very easy for me to send directly to my doctor. Overall it was a very pleasant experience given the circumstances of having to see a doctor during a weekend in Vegas.

Great experience, friendly staff, very knowledgeable. The nurse Kelly was super nice and I didn't feel scared while preparing me for surgery. All the doctors very nice, I laughed with my anesthesiologist. Everything very clean and the nurse in recovery very attentive and helpful. Thank you so much to the whole staff, this was my first surgery ever and I'm glad that was in such a nice hospital with such a great staff. Thank you, Thank you, thank you!💝

Medical Staff friendly & attentive. Everyone introduced themselves & made sure I was aware of all that was going to happen regarding my surgery. Very accommodating with my mother making sure she was comfortable answering her questions as well. Facility was clean and and even though clearly busy staff remained professional, cheerful and attentive to all. Thank you for helping me through my procedure.

I was admitted for covid and had severe chest pain. They immediately took me in and run all test and CT scan to make sure I wasn't paying blood clots. They explained what to except the whole time. After being treated the doctors, nurses and admit staff have me details of what to except in the coming days. For being short staff due to the current pandemic the kept the wait time very minimal. I'm very pleased with my care.

Overall, this is a nice hospital. I've had 2 outpatient procedures done in the past 6 months. Both times the staff were very professional and the facility very clean. Most employees were wearing masks. However, in Recovery I did notice my nurse had the sniffles and her mask was off for a long period of time. For that reason, I did not want her helping me. One other thing that needs addressing is they called me twice for pre-reg and tests for a procedure I already had done. I explained both times that I had had the procedure done. Their own records could verify this. This is the reason for only 4 stars.

gotta say, i havent been to a hospital in years. I avoided them all. I was hesitate to say the least, but when i felt like i had no choice in the matter, under my own dumb judgement, i thought i'd be fine. It'll past. My family members finally convinced me to go in. I'll admit i was scared. But to my suprise and thankfulness, i was glad in doing so. The first thing i noticed was the professionalism. It was apparent that the staff there are very well trained and work as a team. I'm pretty sure they are a tight knit group of people that not only care for the patients, but for each other as well. That kind of compassion you can also feel. Anyway before i write a book here. I wanna say how much deeper of appreciation i have for nurses. I truley now know that they are angels. They were very calming and comforting as i was in one of the scariest moments in my life.. thanks to the doctors as well as i just knew to trust. So thank you valley hospital. i couldnt be more grateful. thanks

They did what they could possibly do. I didn't get any answers on how to cure my illness, but they did treat me with respect, concern and love. It would have been much better if they found the right meds to calm it down right away rather then 8-10 hours later. I was in excruciating pain. The pain was a nightmare! They really did try their best. I have to see a specialist at the Mayo clinic or in LA.

Most of the ERs out here will have you wait 2 hours before even being seen for vitals. I was seen and taken care of in 4, the fastest and the most thoughtful nurses and Doctors. They actually listened to me and I left pain free and was able to eat again. The staff was very kind and understanding and they got me medication that ACTUALLY helped me feel better. Definitely my new go to ER.

I had my first surgery here and start to finish everyone was nice, respectful and helped calm my nerves. My nurse before I had my procedure was extremely sweet. Last this I remember is her giving me a big hug and telling me I got this!

Great staff! Doctors, nurses, CNAs and intake personnel are kind and thoughtful. They attempt to make it as easy and comfortable as they possibly can considering the circumstances. They are VERY patient with their Patients as unwell people can be very mean and grouchy. I appreciate ALL the staff from the janitors to the Doctors. Thank you all for being there.

Our experience at Valley was great! Not only were the staff nice, helpful, and professional but we were in and out in 24 hours! They really manage the discharge process quickly. Not like some places that tell you at 9 am you will be discharged and it takes until 3 or 4 pm to complete the process. Valley kicks you out in a couple of hours :) We were so happy!

My first time and experience at valley hospital was so bad.. the nurses that check me in was good even the ones in the operating room were so kind and nice . But the recovery room I had a nurse who was so mean and not kind.. she was trying to rush everything and to get me out of the hospital right away.. I don't like it at all because a patient who just came out of surgery should be calm by a nurse not trying to wake u up so quickly and get everything done rushing to get me out of there is not nice . I forgot who that Filipino recovery nurse is but she has no kindness heart or care about me just coming out of surgery and being mean throughout my whole time in the recovery room.. they need to do sumthin about that nurse cause that is not the way you treat your patients especially just coming out of surgery....

My overnight stay after hip surgery was a great experience considering the circumstances! Everyone from registration to the fantastic nurses and CNAs were absolutely efficient, professional, and most importantly kind during my overnight stay! A special shout out to my night nurse Monique & the charge night nurse David! It would be neglectful to not include the fabulous PT staff also. Five star service! One warning: bring your own food! Sorry, but the meals were inedible and smelled disgusting. That is my only complaint.

Best surgeon, best 95% of staff. The hospital was clean and mostly organized between departments. Of course after major vascular surgery the 1st and 2nd days are very stressful for everyone. Every day just got better as I healed. Have been home 24hrs and very thank for everything everyone involved done to help me.

My surgery was done at Valley Hospital, June 14, 2023. Everyone was so professional, patient and helpful from the time I went to admitting days before my surgery to the time I checked in for my procedure everything was perfect. My nurse Imelda helped me to feel at ease, she had compassion and patience . My Doctor Nishyama, and the whole surgical team was great, I feel really blessed for each person that had a hand in my care God bless you always.

I was in excruciating pain due to an infected tooth and the wait time for a pretty empty lobby was ridiculous. I sat and watched triage converse with another coworker, scroll on their phone…leave the front…prior to putting my information in the system…there wasn’t any communication on why it was taking so long….I am also 33 weeks pregnant. With the pain shooting to my ear and eye on my left side…..I would have thought I’d be seen in a timely manner. Then someone came in well after me and was processed and seen right away.. just my luck he was hit by a car and his foot was bleeding so his emergency became priority at that point…. However I could have been seen well before he got there as I was always there for an hr at that point..I loved this hospital at one point but after my experience recently, I’ll just take my chances at urgent care and call it a day because the lack of communication and professionalism was ridiculous. Very disappointed.

I must say that I had such a great experience during my stay. All the staff and doctors, even the greeter at the main entrance of the hospital were absolutely amazing. Everyone was so attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and supportive throughout my time there. If I could add more stars I’d give them a 10/10! They’re top notch! I wish I could have this type of experience with other hospitals. This hospital has been one of my greatest experiences out of many other hospitals I’ve ever been to. Thank you for having such a wonderful team!

From checking in to going to my procedure, my experience was amazing. Tina from admitting was very helpful and explained every consents that I was signing in a way that I can understand. At the surgery department, the person at the front desk greeted me with a big warm smile and welcomed me and my husband. During my scan, the nurse or the tech (I can't remember her name) was very informative and made sure I was comfortable and was at eased all through out my procedure. Every encounter that I had on that day was all positive; Valley Hospital teams are the epitome of service excellence ~ and thank you for taking care of me! Valley Hospital teams rocks!!!
