Whatā€™s the point of an EMERGENCY ROOM that tells you to go to a bigger hospital?

Suffered an animal bite on my thumb. My nail is piercing my thumb in the area of the injury. Doctor said he would pain me up then work on the nail and try to lift it back out of the thumb. Doctor injected me 3-4 times with painkillers and left in between to let it take effect. The 4th time he took such a long time that the painkillers subsided. In which he told me that theres no point in keeping me here all day and I should be referred to a hand specialist. I went there at 12pm and I got home at 4pm $300 down the drain

When i asked if they take care of Veterans, the receptionist said you ate better off going somewhere else because we have a hard time getting paid by the VA. Shows that tehy only care about the money.

My husband rushed me here for ER and immediately the staff took me in to be seen. The were all very professional and was great to see a had full of them getting things done once I walked in. They gave us all the information we needed and made sure we understood everything. I will definitely go to this place again Drs Ripplinger, Farino, Jones, and RN Martinez made this visit very comfortable and very welcoming for me. Thank you all for what you did for me.

They donā€™t even listen to your issues. I wouldnā€™t suggest because they suck at correctly diagnosing you, theyā€™ve diagnosed me incorrectly twice once for gastritis when I had ibs and another for ear infection when I had a cyst in my ear canal

I've always had a very nice/friendly experience here. Doctors explain everything and make sure I understand what's happening. I appreciate it.

Disgusting fat white nurse that works graveyard openly talks about ALL patients being seen completely violating HIPPA. Coming in at 4am I knew what every patient was being seen for in the ER since not very many people were there and she would give a brief description of the person she was referring too. Not only would she talk about patient information she would also talk baldy about people. Itā€™s amazing how stupid a nurse can really be. She was speaking so loudly I was able to record the conversations she was having about PRIVATE patient information. See you guys soon in court!

About 15 minutes ago I walked out of dignity health at 4980 Sahara.Dr H. Woo was extremely rude fast talking uncourteous and he does not ask me any questions at all I came in with four different issues .he only said 3 to 4 different words and exited out of the room I then picked up my jacket and water and walked out of the facility. I gave a one star because of him I had a beautiful young lady at the front desk that checked me in. The guy that took my blood pressure he seemed extremely uncomfortable .

I was went here several time over 2 week. First day they did a chest X-ray but they had a problem with receiving the results so after 4hr of waiting they sent me home and said if they see anything on the test they will call. I started getting worse and went back a couple days later. They keep saying itā€™s a virus nothing they can do. Buy over the counter medicine no prescription. A week later I go back Iā€™m so sick. Covid test still Negative so they send me home again. I left them and went to umc emergency room after only 45 min they do a chest X-ray and tell me I have pneumonia and was admitted for several days. They are racist dr and staff. When my sister when back they told her ā€œyou were with the other lady last time?ā€ ā€œWe donā€™t like treating her idk why she keep coming backā€ seriously I was really sick for weeks and they where purposely not treating me due to not likening me

Zero star! I am 19 weeks pregnant, went to this ER with severe abdominal pain. I went here because this is the nearest from our house. Spent total five hours there with no relief for my pain. They did ultrasound to check the baby, and ofcourse Iā€™m glad the baby was fine. But what about my pain? The doctor (Dr. Inglish) who show no concern at all said to take Tylenol. I went home, slept for an hour, and guess what Tylenol didnā€™t work. Woke up still in a lot of pain. End up calling my Obgyn and told me to go back to the ER. Thereā€™s no way I will go back to this ER again, so I went to a different ER that gave me better service and actually helped with my pain.

Was there Saturday. They did some tests Covid, Flu, & Strep. It came back as viral illness & COPD without excaberation. I never have had wheezing so bad in my life. Was in & out. They definitely did a better job then my primary doctor. Still feeling sick.

They really need to look at the issues people are having when they come in. Instead of ordering expensive tests to make money. I came in SEVERAL times with symptoms of VERY HIGH blood pressure... when I mentioned the blood pressure they said "oh it's just because of the excitement when you get into the ER" BULLS*IT! Pay attention to what you learned in medical school! High blood pressure is serious! I'd been to them 5 times before I went to a different ER and told them what was said at this ER... they immediately referred me to a specialist because my blood pressure was not anywhere near normal!

Iā€™ve been sitting here with a giant gash in my arm for 4 hours. Iā€™m about to walk out of here and sew myself up at this point.

I typically go to the dignity on Craig and MLK. But their nurses are becoming so rude and uptight. This location is so much more accommodating and welcoming. The nurses are fabulous and right on top of you calling them for whatever you need. And the doctors are a lot nicer here as well.

This place though small has Awesome Staff worthy of the largest hospitals. I can can say after a one week stay, that they (the staff) like Nurses Joy, Rachel, and Simon or Shenell and Johnathan from the Dietary department, and others were all noteworthy staff who together helped create an exceptionally positive Hospital experience. A special mention to Nurse Astrid who went out of her way to help me get connected with outside Support Services. Did I mention Remote Specialists via live streaming from Texas like Dr. Chauvet Who during Thanksgiving were on the job treating my condition worthy of a "Dr House episode".

Oh. My. Gosh. I came to the Dignity Health emergency department at 5:00 AM in desperate need of pain relief for my tooth. The only relief I could get was to drink cold water, and I was scheduled to take my nursing boards at 8:00 AM (we're not allowed to have food or drink while we take the test, unless we go outside into the lobby. However, to get relief, I needed to drink ice water every two minutes or so). Anyways, back to my desperate need for relief. I came in and explained my situation. Dave, an RN (I did not catch his last name) was absolutely amazing. Very empathetic and kind, and he did a really quick assessment, as he understood how much pain I was in. Dr. Matsuura (I believe that was her name) gave me an injection to numb the pain in my mouth, which was more than enough to get me through my nursing boards without crying. I am incredibly grateful to all the staff! They are awesome.
