Sensational! I had a wonderful focaccia with mortadella, pistachio cream and stracciatella. The focaccia was perfectly cooked (crunchy outside and soft inside), the flavors very well balanced (maybe a tiny bit more cream would be a plus), and the mortadella had the ideal thickness. The service is caring. Will be back for sure!

Had a lovely brunch here. The pastries are fresh and the portions generous, and the coffee and hot chocolate were also great. It’s a small space that’s decorated nicely, with a warm and cozy ambience. The guy at the cafe was very nice and welcoming, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. Highly recommend this place, situated very close to the train station.

This place is like from another world! Once you enter you feel like you are at an Italian deli/cafe = generous portions, people with smiles and lovely ambiance, great and fresh products, even free samples to try out!! The focaccia is homemade and the fillings are super fresh and yummy. The end result is amazing and very filling!!!! Perfect for brunch or lunch!! Recommended!

Quaint little cafe with great apricot croissants which were light and so flavourful! The apricot jam was great too - just the right tangy sweetness! Owner of the cafe is friendly too so that added to the experience! One of the few cafes that open early in the area near the train station!

Ajo Cafe was the first place we went when we arrived in Lausanne from Geneva. We got to Ajo shortly after it opened and saw the move beautiful focaccia my wife or I had ever seen. We canceled our lunch reservation and got sandwiches from here instead - they were incredible. Ajo was one of our favorite meals in all of our time in Switzerland. The owner was from Sardinia and welcomed us in Italian as we entered and continued to make us feel quite welcome throughout our meal. If you're in Lausanne, don't make the mistake of missing this place!

I like this place for an espresso (a flat white or a cappuccino for my partner) before I take a train. The coffee is good. 3.90 for an espresso that’s an affordable price. Thank you to the friendly staff.

Best sandwich in Lausanne! Freshly made bread and ingredients- I highly recommend the Burrata and Caponata focaccia, always hits the spot!

Chanced upon this place and so glad we did! The bread was freshly made and ingredients were so fresh! We are from Singapore and have a good variety of food back home but this is one of the best sandwiches we had! Would love to take this home with us if we could!

Absolutely the best schiacciate in Lausanne. The ingredients are fresh and authentic. The staff is super nice and we have great chats whenever i grab a cappuccino or a shiacciate. They open early in the morning, and it is 50 meters from the training station. Definitely a perfect place to have a workday breakfast or weekend lunch.
