The
Bistro
offers
“meat-free”
couscous.
The
menu
is
well
displayed
on
the
street
and
also
inside,
to
attract
vegetarians/vegans.
However,
we
found
meat
in
the
meatless
couscous,
because
the
vegetables
are
cooked
with
it
(they
just
remove
the
meat
at
the
last
minute,
but
small
pieces
remain
in
it!).
When
we
told
the
waiter
that
there
was
meat
in
the
meatless
couscous
he
said
that
“it’s
normal,
that’s
how
we
make
couscous!”
and
he
apologized
right
after
talking
with
him
a
second
time.
Plus,
when
we
asked
for
couscous
without
meat,
the
man
at
the
restaurant
delighted
us
with
a
little
joke
about
vegetarians.
In
the
end
he
offered
us
coffee,
but
in
short,
not
a
nice
experience
at
all.
There
are
couscous
restaurants
in
other
areas
that
respect
other
cultures
and
traditions,
respecting
customer
requests
and
specifying
how
the
dish
is
cooked.
