Great location, good service and fair price for a couple of beers to enjoy on a sunny day. I recommend the bitterballen but I'd prefer a different dip. They had the mustard and I'm not fan.

I had a single appartement, the room is really small and the bathroom is literally a shower with a toilet and a sink. Bed was small, but very good and it has a water boiler + instant coffee. A small fridge and TV (bit too high in the room, but ok) finalize the package. Stairs are very steep, but normal for an old Dutch house 3* The breakfast is very good and reasonable priced (12,-) and the friendliness of the staff is amazing! 5*+ Located directly in the center of the town with a market on Friday, many restaurants and bars within 5min walk. Parking 10min walk away, 15€/day. We have been told it's quite noisy in summer time, as ppl are sitting outside... Tbh, I wouldn't mind, I love the place. Will be back in spring for sure :) Again - I can only recommend the hotel if you're not bound to luxury places and pay more attention on friendliness and a perfect location.

The staff was really nice and helpful, they made my check-in really convenient. I arrived very late and they managed to give me access to my room key through a locker with a code. The room was spacious and super clean. The area is a party one so it might be a bit noisy depending on where the room is I guess but it didn't bother me and they let earplugs in the room anyway.

Nice hotel in main square. Room comfortable and we were very well looked after. Located in main square which is full of activity and can be a little noisy but lots of atmosphere and fun.

A quiet room right in the middle of town! The staff are very friendly and polite, the rooms are of a good size for a small hotel and the breakfast is excellent! Highly recommended!

Stayed for 5 nights when visiting a friend who lives locally. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Rooms were very well presented. Breakfast was excellent.

Perfect place to stay in Amersfoortse in the middle of the city.

In the morning they serve a very well made breakfast, at a very comfortable pace. It will appeal to both the business as well as the leisure traveler, the word is "welcome" here. You would be staying in the middle of the historic city with many good opportunities to see and visit, even if it is last minute. the patrons here, are very practical, polite and take great care of their customer. It is a comfortable room and all things in "de Gaaper" come with a very fair price, "what you see is what you get" and there is even more to experience..

I stayed for one night in March at this cute little hotel right on the market square. Special mention to Max who welcomed me in the evening and took great care of me at breakfast the next morning. Very helpful, sympathetic and service oriented. If I'm ever in Ammersfoort again, I'll definitely be back!

Perfect location, and the staff couldn't have been nicer. The room was huge and well looked after, highly recommended. We also had the breakfast each day and the selection was lovely for what I know as the continental breakfast.

The hotel personnel/staff good talker, promised alot but never delivered. Our room was never cleaned (3days). I have to asked the guy (owner) who was drinking beer in front of the hotel that our room was not clean about 16:00hrs. He responded the cleaner will be there as soon as not until after 17:00hrs. The last 2days our was room was not clean. Big disappointment! This hotel is a LGBTQ+ friendly.

A fantastic place to stay if you want to be innthe centre of the city. Staff were very friendly and helpful and easy walking distance to the Mondriaan and Flehite museums. Very close to pick up point for local canal cruises. The hotel is on a town square with many bars cafes and restaurant surrounding it. It was quite noisy on a weekend...but to be expected! On a Saturday there was a big street market with lots of fresh produce and flowers. Very nice surprise! Breakfast was a buffet style with plenty of cheese, meat slices, cereals, museli, granola, yogurts, croissants, condiments eggs etc.

Sehr zentrale Lage. Steile Treppen zum Zimmer, kein Fahrstuhl. Gutes Frühstück. Absolut freundliches Personal. Große Zimmer sehr ruhig. Im Preis scheint die hervorragende Lage berücksichtigt zu sein.
