My family and I were on our way back from Georgia and we decided to stop here. Well big mistake. This is the worst Golden Corral I have ever been to. Everything that any of us got off the bar was cold. The only thing I got that was hot was my little bit of steak (because it came right off the grill). The soups were dried up and stayed that way for the remaining time we were in the restaurant. My parents got a baked potato and when they went to put butter on it the butter wouldn’t melt. Got ready to leave and went to the restroom and wash my hands.. I looked in the sink and mold is growing in the sink. I first thought that it was just some old stuff, well I took a paper towel just to see and wiped up mold. We spoke with the manager and we’ll that’s a really didn’t care.

Our waiter Baron was nice and attentive. Food was good! Banana Pudding and sweet potatoes were delicious! 2/5/23 We had "Sherri with a Smileyface" She was attentive . Helpful and kind.

I visited Golden Corral this evening and was very disappointed. I came in for a to-go dinner and approached the buffet to find articles of other dishes on the buffet in the sweet potato casserole. I asked a server could she get a fresh side of the casserole from the back due to my health issues/concerns with the dish out front. She approached her manager and he declined due to his justification of putting the dish out "a few minutes ago." I approached the manager with my request and he suggests that "I go find another restaurant who would go to the back and get a side dish for me." I said "I beg your pardon," and proceeds to repeat himself. I asked how do I proceed to get a side dish without particles from other dishes in it? He walks over and takes a pair of tongs and picks the particles from the dish. In disbelief I gather my dish and proceed to check out only to realize I was being over charged for a side dish. They refused to revert the charge and sent me on my way. I refuse to refer this restaurant to anyone due to the way I was treated. Customer service skills were non-existent.

The food was good and our server was attentive. It was fairly busy. There should really be some restrictions for children. They jump in front of people putting their hands in the food, spilling food and playing.

It was our 1st experience at Golden Corral since March 2020. It was good food but not exceptional. Very Golden Corral & enjoyable. Our waitress was outstanding & made our visit worthwhile.

I love salads. One of the main reasons I like coming to Golden Corral is for the salad bar…. But here lately the salad bar has not been up to par. I was very disappointed to see the unsanitary conditions that the salad bar is currently under……. Unless new management takes over, I will not be back after seeing a plastic glove in the actual salad bar…. That’s so unsanitary

Very highly upset when we got here all the tables were dirty! Then we found a clean table and when we went to sit the waitress started screaming at us that someone was sitting there mind you there were no drinks or a receipt on the table there was nothing! So we left to the complete other side had a much nicer waitress but the food was disgusting and went to eat the bourbon chicken and it was raw inside I hope I don’t get sick now! And the rest of the food was horrible I spent $53.44 to eat nothing cause it was so bad that now I have to spend more money to actually buy something edible! Never coming back her again!!!

Good fried chicken and the fish is good and hot but some of the food isn’t hot enough like the Nacho meat sauce was more like room temperature. Sweet tea was pretty good. Excellent service by our waiter Josh. He was very attentive.

Visited on a Sunday around 2pm with a party of 12, resturants was packed. Cashier helped us get a server to be seated quickly. Food was being turned over quickly and enjoyed what I ate.

Most of the food looked amazing. Lots of selections to choose from. The chicken was slightly undercooked. The beef steaks were unavailable. Not all the food was labeled. One dish didn't know what it was but it looked hard and yucky in the pan.

Not safe! Do not go there without some type of defense. Management are doing absolutely nothing for the drug problem. I just went tonight and got approached by a woman who would not take no for an answer. I'm local here, it's getting so bad this is my last night. I'm disabled and don't need this kind of harassment just to eat. You're better off waiting on south Carolina line or past Fayetteville if you're going north. If you got kids, I'd think twice before stopping here. Management only cares about what goes on inside. They could careless if get robbed trying to get in. Stop at your own risk, you've been warned.

Have eaten here many times over the years, always enjoyed it! It has improved in recent times, even better!! Love everything about this place!! All the food is fresh, hot, lots more healthier choices lately! LOVE the salad bar, fresh so many toppings!!!

I'm not particularly comfortable recommending particular items because they aren't really my cup of tea. Many people seem to like it here so maybe it's just me. I did enjoy the pot roast and dinner rolls but can't say much more than that. As for desserts, they have a big variety for everyone but for me nothing special. I am a long time baker so it takes a lot to impress me but I'm sure for most they would enjoy 😉

The food here is great tasting. A southern classic, golden corral is a good choice to eat at if you're near Lumberton,NC. I even think Golden Corral was founded in Fayetteville so the company is at home locally. About the service....I had to wait 2+ hours for my uber eats order because a driver took my order and drove off with it. I tipped my new driver extra anyway because they had to wait for the restaurant to make me another order. I probably will not order from here on a delivery app again for a while. Good food tho.

Golden Corral has been around a long time. Not many buffets you can go to that have a large variety of items consistently on the menu and the quality remains close to the same. I stopped by the Lumberton GC out of a need to sit down and have a normal meal. I had a salad and Meat Loaf with sides. The food was really good and the Meat Loaf was exceptionally good. Service was great and I cannot complain.

The food is bland. But it's understandable since you have many people to cater too. Yeast rolls are amazing however. The service was great.

The food was fresh, and tables and buffets were clean. Hand sanitizer was furnished. The wait staff was attentive. We are accustomed to 5 star dining, so for a buffet of this caliber, it was an overall good experience. It is a little pricey compared to a fine dining experience but worth the money with large varieties including plenty of meat and vegetable choices and no limits on food or drinks.We will eat here again.

Great food..nut the one waitress was very loud busting tables and having her personal life story out like that.

Food was refreshed as soon as an it was low. Served at the appropriate temperature. Our server Yvette was attentive, but not intrusive.

I believe that whenever you go to a Golden Corral restaurant it's going to be a hit-or-miss. This particular restaurant in this area was my 1st time visiting from out of state. We came for breakfast and they opened up at 10:30 AM but there was no breakfast. The options for lunch we're limited, Not too many choices of what to eat. The thing that really got me with this restaurant is they had served some slices of squash which were black and burnt...unedible. Then they served their teriyaki chicken with rice and the teriyaki chicken was also burnt. Their Buffalo chicken was not chicken wings but large chicken legs which did not look edible.. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean.

The worst no fish for 45m and the shrimp were over cooked and hard and burned. Spent almost 15.00 and the food had no taste. This is in Lumberton North Carolina. Even one of the cashier taste the food and realize that the food was naughty. But would not refund my money back.

My husband and I went here today and the food was definitely not the best. There was a pan of chicken set to the side, we didn't think nothing of it, my husband bit a piece and It smelled rotten to the point he almost threw up. Not to mention having cold food. I gave this place a second chance after a previous experience we had with rotten smelling ribs about a year ago. The manager smelled it, took them off the bar, then said yes it's bad. 🤔 Yeah it's a wrap for us here.

This is the best Golden Corral I've been to. The food was fresh. Everything was hot. Our server Josh was so sweet.

First of all the food on the bar was cold. Secondly it took 45 minutes to get an omelette. Then while I'm in line waiting people coming thru asking if he is looking out for them. I guess the girl that suppose to be manager was no better walking around with the phone with earpiece in. Ppl coming straight thru the door saying bruh u taking care of me and there was 5 ppl behind me waiting. I for one will not be returning to this place and don't know who owns it but they need to come take care of their business or they be shutting it down. I'm giving a 1 rating because there's nothing lower.

went and got steak tonight at Golden carrol some of the food was good some of it was dry and sitting too long I was there cause they have the best steaks but the guy who was cooking steaks tonight on the grill at the buffet I seen him pick up the steaks with no gloves on and throw them on the grill that is not good too many germs and covid going around my immune system is weak guess I'll be going to go get my steaks some we're else

Buffet was great, but the waitress was very sorry. We had to get up to get our tea and left the old plates on the table when we had second.. whole lot different than Wilmington.. Lumberton need to retrain waitresses...

This is my 1st time dining in at Golden Corral since the pandemic started. I was pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed the variety of food options. The restaurant offered blue plastic gloves and hand sanitizer stations throughout.

The food was still hot and ready even though i walked in 20 minutes till close. The place was kept super clean from the tables to the bar and floor. But above all the service was EXCELLENT! One of the hosts, his name is Devaughn Mcmillan, was very friendly and helpful. He checked on me at my table to make sure everything was satisfactory and even insisted i let him cover the tip. He is a true gentleman and deserves recognition. I'll definitely be returning for the service alone!

Went in about 6pm food was touch and go most employees seemed less than happy, with the exception of Emily Grace. The food was decent or bad between bites. The ice cream machine was broken, only chocolate worked. The mangers all seemed to be having a good time just hanging out. Needs better management and more friendly faces.

The food was very good and my waitress was very nice he kept my table clean the whole while I was there his name was Glenn I think that was his name but if not please forgive me. He was the best waitress that I had since I've been going there and I've been going there for years. This young guy was new. He had very good manners

First time at this place and was welcomed with sweet southern hospitality! The food is much more well made and tastes cleaner than most buffets I have went to. The environment is also clean and well sanitized. 5/5 would definitely come back again!!

My waiter was excellent. I wish I had read his name. The food was excellent also. The Fayetteville GC is not up to the Lumberton GC. When I am back in Lumberton I will be stopping at GC! The pic is what was left! Sorry I ate the rest!
