This is great place to get breakfast or lunch!!💯 Shannon is the best and the cook/owner looks like Stone Cold. He really knows how to throw down in the kitchen. I've had the Country Scramble on one visit and Huevos Rancheros on another visit and both were excellent and I always look forward to try something new on the menu. My homie had the country style omelet and it looked so good and he enjoyed very much. The country style potatoes are the best yet. So definitely a must try. Tell them Omar said hello.

Okay, this place was delicious! Davin was the cook and we had absolutely perfect meals at a great price. What we ate here was better than the $50 per person dinner we had the previous night at a nicer restaurant. All the tables in here have clear glass tops where patrons add business cards, stickers, drawings, dollar bills, etc. to. This is really fun because everyone who comes in can leave their trace for others to see. Really impressed with the staff, their presence, tone of voices, and helpfulness. I think this is a hole in the wall in this town.

Excellent food. Stopped in for breakfast. Omelet came out piping hot. Steam rising from the first bite. Very tasty and the hash browns were great. Lovely service. Lots of locals. Older place reminded me of roadside diners of yore. You should try.

Nice local cafe in historic Dayton - have visited two years while on a bike tour in the Carson City area. Friendly staff and good service. Have had very nice sandwiches for my lunches, which I enjoyed a lot.

I used to love going there. It's gone through at least 2 owners since I began visiting. But I started noticing it was progressively getting dirty. Look at the area behind the prep counter. It's pretty filthy. They closed for covid, and had a great chance to clean, but didn't. It's greasy and cob webs, and that's just what I can see. What going on where we can't? Yes the food is always tasty, but what could be going on with the uncleanliness?

A hole in the wall worth visiting. Biscuits and gravy were fantastic, pancakes were fluffy and amazing the service was so nice and so friendly and I don't think my coffee cup was empty for more than two seconds the whole time. I left my little keychain from a Broadway show with all the other little keepsakes from visitors under the glass in the table. Would definitely recommend this place.

Traveled here two times two years apart and the service and food are superb! The first time I went there it was the best breakfast I have ever had. I was afraid the second trip would let me down. It did not! The second time was even better than the first. Our waitress was the same both times and has worked there for numerous years and she seems to love it! Great job, Road Runner Cafe!

Place was a hole in the wall, but a true gem. The staff were super friendly, the food was amazing, and an all-around good time. The wife and I would gladly come back

This place is dang good! In town for a football game, stopped in for breakfast and got the meat lovers country gravy omelette and it was beyond amazing!!! I’m usually a veggie girl but this sounded too good to not try and I could’ve licked the darn plate by the end of it. Our daughter also demolished her biscuits and gravy. 10/10 recommend!
