MUSHROOMS! I came for a late lunch and the kind owner was willing to serve me pasta even thought the kitchen was closed. I told him I love mushrooms so they made a pasta with mushrooms in EVERY BITE - and they even topped the lovely presentation with red peppercorns and real truffles! I asked the owner to pair the wine for me and he chose a lovely viognier. The decor is warm and a nice quality (wood and photos of green naturescapes) considering all the imposing buildings in the neighborhood. It’s also bright and fresh on the interior, not too cold and not too cozy/cramped. The combo of great service (including the server who was brand new and willing to seek assistance when she didn’t know the answer), the tranquil ambiance and the amazing food warrants this restaurant five stars. I definitely recommend!
