I came here during a trip to France in January wanting to try traditional quenelles and I was not disappointed! The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and even gave me a taste of the soup option that I didn’t select so that I had a great experience trying new flavours. I would highly recommend making the stop here whilst at the market - one of my favourite meals I’d had in France! The quenelles are definitely worth the wait.

Great place for lunch to get their menu with soup and quenelles and dessert. Their homemade soup is amazing, especially the Bangkok with shrimp. I've never had quenelles before so when in Lyon, this is a must to try. I tried them pan-sauteed, but I would suggest getting them steamed. In fact, I would try the cup of various quenelles to really experience them, hopefully I'll be back to Lyon soon to try them. The chocolate fondant and other cake with raspberry were first rate, not to mention the raspberry rhubarb sauce offered to accompany it. The service was professional and with pride . I'm glad my gut feeling was to eat here instead of oysters and snails seen at many of the other stalls. The combination menus are a great value in comparison for such high quality food.
