Being from overseas, I wanted to discover French sea food and I was not disappointed! Amazing ambiance and food. The owner is very friendly to all and creates like a family atmosphere. Couldn’t have had a better experience! Recommend to all!

We came to this restaurant to celebrate our colleagues from Singapore who are about to return home. Although this is our first time dining here, I'm sure we'll be back! The smoked fish was delicious & the fish soup was some of the best soup I’ve ever had!

Although it was posted as Open Now (from 19:00 to 22:00), the place was simply closed when we arrived at 20:00!!!

Deep fried small shrimp for waiting our main dish is very good. The mixed seafood(80 Eur) is also good except the crab is not fresh as I expected. The rest is perfect. It is very good. Definately I will come back again if I have chance.

I had the pleasure of dining at La Cabane à Huitres in Lyon 6, and I must say it was a delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was surrounded by the nautical theme that added to the overall ambiance. I opted for the seafood platter: a mouthwatering selection of oysters, langoustines, shrimps, crabs, each bite was a burst of oceanic goodness, and I savored every moment, my faouvite was oyster spéciale d'Isigny N°2: fleshy, juicy, incredibly fresh, mouthwatering, It's clear that they take great care in sourcing their seafood. The staff were attentive, by providing excellent recommendations and ensuring that my dining experience was top-notch, I chose the white Chardonnay to pair with the seafood. This restaurant is a perfect place for a special occasion or a memorable meal with friends and family. I'll definitely be returning...

This is the first time I write a review for a restaurant. I must say the owner, Stephane, is very passionate to provide SATISFACTION for diners. I had a trip to Beaune and Lyon with my good friend (from Hongkong) for a week. The food along the trip was not satisfying. On the last day of our trip, I was crazily craving fresh oysters. Unfortunately, all the good ones were closed until we found La Cabane a Huitres on Google Maps. Without hesitation, we took a bus to the restaurant. As we pushed the door open, the people inside told us that it was closed for decoration until September!!! I couldn’t hide the disappointment on my face. Stephane explained to us that they marked it closed on Google Maps but it didn’t show correctly. To not let us leave with hollow stomachs, Stephane kindly offered to serve us oysters only as the kitchen was closed. We had super delicious De Claire Oysters and Gold Metal winning oysters “Le Guen Chaumard”!!!! In the halfway, another two guests came separately for the same reason. Stephane of course invited them to join the feast. We had tons of oysters and flows of wine. Chatting and sharing between hosts and guests like friends. When checking bills, you just couldn’t believe how reasonable the price was!!!!!! It was a wonderful night with amazing people!! We wish Stephane every success with his new opening in September. We will definitely come back.

Absolutely great place - I will definitely come back !!! Very friendly welcome , great quality seafood . I only wish we could have stayed longer , had to get back for the kids .

Originally from New Zealand, decided to go with friends in town for the rugby world cup. Recommended by a friend it did not disappoint. (recommend booking in advance as it gets very busy) We started with the seafood platter and extra oysters ( isigny n ° 2) paired with a good white wine followed by desert. Incredible quality and freshness was very impressed with the seafood, some of the best we have had! Restaurant is a nautical theme, its really well done to a high level - very cool. The owner speaks perfect English and the staff are very friendly and attentive. Price is reasonable and not expensive for this quality of seafood and wine. If you are a seafood lover I cannot highly recommend this restaurant. Looking forward to dining in again!
