👍 Very interesting. Teaches a lot about optical illusions. However, a lot of experiments can't be seen unless you take a picture, so have your cameras ready for this trip. My kids are 6 and 4, and they loved it. They had a great time and a lot of because this place made them believe that magic actual... Very interesting. Teaches a lot about optical illusions. However, a lot of experiments can't be seen unless you take a picture, so have your cameras ready for this trip. My kids are 6 and 4, and they loved it. They had a great time and a lot of because this place made them believe that magic actually exists and it is through science. Keep up the good work.

Musée sympa pour les enfants, mais hors de prix pour le peu qu’il y a à faire ! En outre, certaines illusions sont déjà vieillissantes… Je ne recommande pas.

Fake place for tourists! It’s a small, rather dirty place with some locations to make typical instagram photos and a few printed illusions on the walls. Extremely overpriced, this should be free or cost a few euros, not 20. We spent there ~10 minutes, there is nothing to do there.

Way too overated honestly. If you have kids I could understand why you would go there, but 12€ for this?! It's way too expensive for the low quality stuff they have. First, they let way too many people at a time to let you enjoy the very few things in there. Second, many of the "optical illusions" are just to be seen through your phone by taking photos, which is quite sad. Doesn't really count as optical illusion if I have to see it through my phone. And the ones that can count as optical illusions are barely explained 😔 Mirror surface are dirty and reduce drastically the effect of certain things 🤢 Time to go through the "museum" is roughly 15-20min. I put museum in between quotes because it's definitely not part of museums of France, this is very misleading

Kids will enjoy it there! Reserve in advance as it is quite a popular museum. Not enough parking available nearby

A bit overpriced because it’s a private museum but totally fun. The total tour takes around 1.5 hours and you will see perplexing objects, shapes, angles and more. Cool indoor museum.

Excellent, children-friendly. Expect a one hour+, rich and varied experience full of surprises. Excellent service from Clémence at the candy shop and Mathilde at the reception. We do recommend ! Nic 43, Louise 10, and Martha 7

Nice little museum, but way too expensive and badly maintained. The smaller illusions can also be found on the internet. Some illusions need a little maintenance for example when mirrors are not alined properly. €18,- for an adult is too expensive for 1,5 floor of exibition space. When in Lyon I'd recommend the musée du cinema et de la miniature.

We came to the museum by chance while looking for a restaurant. It was a great experience, we were amazed and laughed a lot. The colleague there was very helpful and kind, and in the end he even helped us to find a restaurant.

Very interesting museum for those in need of Instagram content. It’s a bit expensive for such a small place but it’s a must-visit and hopefully, it will expand in the next few years to provide fresher experiences. I thoroughly enjoyed it 😊

Fun and educativ museum for everyone. It is easy to reach. The stuff is very friendly and helps you understand some of the illusions. They also very helpful to take pictures for you.

Well, I went on the visit on my own and while I loved it, I struggled to take the right photos! But then I met Clemence😊 She was phenomenal and had genius ideas to make my visit far more memorable than it would’ve been! I had the most fun! Thanks Clemence and the museum is totally worth it

It's not bad but for the entrance price of 18€ per adult, the place is quite small and in one hour you can finish the visit. Would probably recommend if you are looking for something to do with kids, but for adults I think the money can be better spent in a different type of musuem or activity.

A really fun place for both adults and kids. We really enjoyed our visit. Time well spent

Interesting but expensive activity for groups. Very gentle and fun staff. Lyon City Card do not allow free entrance (2023) and there's not really that much saving with the discount assigned to it. Very few people at the earlier hours.

Very disappointing. All is squeezed into a space far to small for properly enjoying it. There are no distances. Experiences overlap. If it's crowded you can't see a thing. There is bumps and uneven grounds everywhere. Really poorly executed in Lyon. Outrageously priced for what is offered. We knew the one in Belgrade from before and liked it much better. The kids will love it for the tunnel ride and up-side-down effects. It could much better in a proper space.

Good activity. Very nice girls who help us if needed. But don't go alone, most activities are better with 2 persons.

Fun, hands on exhibit, great for both kids and adults with plenty of cool photo opportunities. The staff were wonderful, offering to take pictures and explain the exhibits as you go. It's not a huge museum, expect to spend about an hour to two at most. 18€ per adult ticket is a bit costly given the small size of the museum but it was ok for a one time visit.

A small museum with a few interesting installments but nothing that you've likely not already seen elsewhere. It's fine for a quick visit with young children. A complete tour of the museum would take no longer than an hour if you stop to read and try out every interactive exhibit. Very overpriced and a few displays were missing or out of order when we visited making a small museum feel even smaller. The girl at the front desk was disinterested and on her phone even when customers approached the desk. A mask is still required but there are multiple games and puzzles that you grab, touch or slide without regular cleaning thus defeating previous efforts to comply with COVID guidelines. This is the definition of a tourist trap. Potentially interesting as a one time distraction with young children at best but beyond that I'd recommend avoiding. Other comparable museums like Ripley's believe it or not are comparably priced but offer ten times the amount of exhibitions and fun.

Much much smaller than I expected for the price! Extremely underwhelming. And kind of crowded too. Do not recommend. Maybe for little kids it's cool.

A bit upset. Nice place to be in but not exceptional. I think is is expensive (18€) for what you discover.

A very interesting museum that is full of optical illusions that make you laugh, think, wonder and feel a range of emotions. The tunnel was the craziest thing we experienced in there, and the curve illusion I still cannot understand even hours after being there. I think this will be one of the most memorable parts of our visit to Lyon, and the photos we got from our museum visit are amazing. Very helpful staff, they helped us take photos and understand some of the illusions. 10/10 place to escape from the weather for a few hours.

Getting tickets from the museum itself was fairly easy. It can keep you occupied for 3-4 hours, and the people over there are friendly and always willing to help you. Overall, it was worth the visit, especially if you have children with you.
