The mosaics are easily the best we’ve ever seen anywhere. Some of them are huge and look like they were laid yesterday. The audio guide is very good and well worth having. If you have any sort of passion for Roman history and antiquities, this museum is absolutely not to be missed. Allow at least an hour and a half as there is lots to see and take in including the ruins of the ancient amphitheater. Tip: if you walk up the hill to this facility you may get a little Lost bear Notre Dame as we did as they seem to be missing a sign there. We got directions from a lovely local who just said keep going in between the two yellow buildings. She was right! We walked between the buildings and on a little way and there it was!
