We dined last night at this venue upon recommendation from Hotel Diu. Unfortunately the food did not meet our expectations. Presentation was superb, like art on a plate. However for our family of 4 the vast majority of meals were for display purposes as opposed to balance of flavour and ingredients. In fact majority of our party of 4 could not eat the first 3 dishes, pork, frog and Scottish fish. Mind you these were all surprise dishes. I think 3.5 is where I place this restaurant. We have had far more superior dinning experiences across France and most recently in Lyon. I was aware of price before making my reservations, certainly not at the lower end of price. However I did expect a better food journey than I experienced for the price we paid. In addition to above, the restaurant includes surprise dishes on top of your degustation menu - this was a nice touch and surprise. Our waiter was wonderful, I don’t recall her name. Good but not great and certainly not memorable.

An outstanding dining experience! The meal was curated perfectly and the wine pairing was thoughtful and interesting. We were treated with a number of off menu courses that were irresistible. The wait staff were attentive, organized and beyond lovely. Overall, an incredible experience and one I’d recommend to anyone visiting Lyon.

This place is amazing! Even though the restaurant has no Michelin stars, I think it definitely deserves a few. The dishes were interesting, complicated, and tasty. The service was one of the best I have ever received. I would definitely recommend visiting this restaurant!

Wonderful meal here. The menu changes. Sitting outside on the street was not very relaxing due to traffic and people passing by. Go inside instead. You get to pick your own knife. Highlights for me were: maigre, tender razor clam, lamb, and cassis dessert. Rhubarb and blackberry dessert was not the right plate to finish on. Sommelier was delightful.

I would give 1 🌟 to this restaurant!! Such an amazing experience during our stay in Lyon!! Before the starter, we received 4 different “surprises from the chef” so lovely !! The food was well prepared with love! Love the wine paring part as well. The service was also stunning, introduced all the dishes and ingredients. Guess what, 2 more “surprises from the chef - dessert “ came after we finished our dessert’ 5 courses plus all the surprises = 58 euro. Do visit it while your stay in Lyon

It was okay but definitely not worth a 4.8 - had the 6 courses one - the desserts were extremely disappointing - not thoughts put into them and the two were self-repetitive - also did not like the main courses, the veal + persimmon was a good idea but the fish one was a diseastor - tasted worse than the fish dish of my college cafeteria also I found something not edible in the fish one and no explanation/apology whatsoever after asking twice. a waste of money+ the limited number of meals i got to have in France.

Great restaurant! Menu degustation was very good, we did have no space for more ! The food is great with local products and good natural wine.

One word: perfect. Service is attentive and authentically friendly & warm from the welcome at the door over the whole evening until the goodbye. The dinner was an incredibly well executed journey over 7 courses. Well explained by the service, each dish was an exquisite composition of flavors and textures. I can only highly recommend the wine pairing. This will definitely be one of the most memorable dinner experiences in my 2023. Thanks to the team of L'Etabli for a wonderful evening.

A wonderful culinary experience. Had on of my most wonderful dinners at this place. Every dish was an experience by itself. The wine I was recommended by the sommelier was a great choice of a full body wine with great taste and smells of a bouquet of flowers. The service by the staff was exceptional as well. If in Lyon it is a must!!! Back here again with my wife. Again another wonderful eating experience from start to finish. No need to add words. If in Lyon go and enjoy a wonderful evening meal.

Found by accident, but seriously one of the best fine dining in the city offering 6 course menue for 65 EUR. Interesting menue, luxury service and small pieces like read self service, selection of your personal knife..... JUST one serious issue. We have bought wines, but we have asked to open one our private bottle..... ok, but they have asked for 30EUR... I WILL NOT return.

Great restaurant with high quality, nice decoration and excellent service. Careful it is on the Michelin Guide so the price is high but it's worth it. I highly recommend

Delicious trio menu for lunch, preluded with a pork belly amuse-bouche, and accompanied with a fresh loaf of bread with charcoal and cumin butter (tastes better than it sounds!) Would love to visit again!

This is a very charming restaurant! Very friendly staff offering superb service throughout our visit. We had the 7-course menu. The plating was very beautiful and showed skill on behalf of the chefs, although the first couple of courses were a bit unbalanced. Still I thinkthe overall impression was good. the pre-dessert and desserts were impressive, and I'm sure they were michelin-star-level. I like the fact that they use local products. The wine list contains a lot of small eco/bio-producers. We asked the sommelier for his wine-pairings which, for the most part were good matches. (especially for the main course and desserts. Beautiful petit fours rounded of a nice evening.

We had a wonderful dinner here the other day. Started at 7:30 and ended around 10:30, and although we were expecting 7 courses we probably had 11 or 12 because of all of the chef’s surprises. Every dish was plated beautifully, with many flavors and textures all well thought out. My favorite of the evening would have to be raspberry dessert.

👍 Nice experience in this new restaurant. Gentle staff, there is a nice feeling. I recommend the salads which are super tasty and creative. Could not experience the fresh juice as the restaurant seems to have some teething problems but I will come back in a few weeks to try more.
