Honestly not impressed. The food was fine. I ordered the pork fillet mignon which was pretty good at first but the cheese sauce was so dense that I couldn’t finish it. The cheese ravioli was decent too. Service was ok but they seemed annoyed with us because we didn’t make a reservation. Also, we sat on the patio and there were bees, sparrows, and pigeons swarming us the whole time. Overall this place was fine but I most likely will never be eating here again.

It is always better if you have a reservation as there are no many tables. The food is delicious. I recommend the lamb and the lyonnaise salad! Also, the french fries are yummy!

Went to Lyon to try out a good Bouchon but we didn’t make any reservations. Ended up dining here and we were not disappointed food was actually quite good and service was quick and attentive. Had the bone marrow, as rich and creamy as butter, the escargot, nice without overpowering garlic, and the traditional pork sausage of Lyon. I’m not crazy about this, it’s coarse chopped pork stuffed into a casing. I had it at two other places & as far as it goes Le Vieux’s was the best. Fabulous food & service & great people watching. Sat next to the most beautiful brunette I have ever seen in my life too!
