    I found this place to eat after seeing high reviews online! It didn't disappoint me, it was great! The store is not big, but there are a lot of customers! I ordered the fried minced pork with vermicelli, it was super delicious! Kung Pao Chicken is exactly the same as what I have eaten in China! Although the boiled beef is slightly spicy, it is very delicious! I highly recommend 👍👍👍👍👍👍

    My fav Chinese restaurant ever in Lyon. They provide various choice of dishes at a moderate price and most of them are rich in taste and quantity. However, there is very limited places inside, sometimes you may need to book the table before hand.

    A small restaurant but they serve very well. The food arrived in 10 minutes and we couldn't finish it because it was too much. It's delicious and hot but like the Chinese food you usually see, they are greasy. I probably won't eat them very often but their service is good nonetheless!

    Best culinary experience. My very first visit to this Chinese restaurant in Lyon. Ordered dumplings, a pork ribs and corn soup and then a sour fish soup and a pork dish. Highly recommended. They have a another dining space available just across the road.

    Authentic Chinese food, lots of choice and most of all, finally a restaurant that's spicy! Not "European spicy" but actually spicy! We enjoyed all the dishes we've tried so far but the raviolis stand out, they are absolutely delicious and remind me of the raviolis my relatives in China make. I kinda love how they make tea in a French press 😂 the service is nice. Careful, it does get a bit cold for the tables close to the door in winter as the isolation doesn't seem to be great.

    Authentic Chinese in Lyon! All the dishes were bang on, and if you like kidneys, try the 火爆腰花 - delish! Young enthusiastic waiting staff and owner. Well done!

    I am impressed with the Chinese food in France/Lyon. I ordered soup noodles x 2, dumplings, steamed sea bass and mapo tofu for Euro$76. 5 pax, reasonable price and good downtown location.

    This is a mixed review: my hubby got sick eating the pork, rice and nems (vomiting everything from dinner), hence the low rating. As for my part, I thought the vegetarian tofu was delicious! Nice and spicy, maybe a bit too salty.

    First experience with reservation. Overall it was quite nice as all dishes were closed to what I expected except le wok aux travers de porc, which missed some flavor. One thing for sure is that they may season dishes with MSG, which I would definitely to request to skip it next time while ordering. It’s possible to customize few ingredients or seasonings that you don’t eat, which is really nice. Definitely in my revisit list. Suggest make reservation first.

    As a Southeast Asian temporarily residing in FR, I couldn't help but pine for the authenticity of the regional Chinese cuisines I have been spoiled with. And Carnet Gourmand simply fills the void of missing this 'flavor of home.' Arguably, they serve one of the best crispy sauteed pork in this side of the world. The prices--reasonable. What tops the service and food though is the atmosphere: Clean, modestly comfy, unpretentious (it is flanked by major resto franchises), child-friendly, and welcoming to pets (we always bring our dog). It deserves all the Gault&Millaut seals of approval it has garnered.

    Location: quite in the center of Lyon city Staff and service: friendly staff and quick service Ambiance and setup: so basic and a bit small Cuisine: Chinese cuisine in the authentic chinese way, good portions, big variety of dishes price: normal prices a bit pricey

    Authentic chinese fare in Lyon. The vegetable dish 地三鲜 with its sauce is superb. The pan-fried dumpling is great too. Highly recommended to try this place out if you need to get your fix for chinese food. Staff speaks French.

    Let's start with the fact that they first brought us meat and at the end soup :) Waiting time 40+ minutes in the morning. The waitresses are not nice and do not understand their job. Asians are served faster. Big respect to the chef. Portions are small, but that's not his fault. The soup was excellent, but the sweet and sour pork was dry. For meat dishes I put a solid 3. For the soup, 5. The restaurant is average. I advise you to try it, but I will not return there again, maybe only for soup.

    Authentic Chineese Food! Price wise worth it.. and the service is also good. Treasure found in Lyon. I was not able to take photos of the food since we ate up immediately.

    I had sweet-sour pork, pork ribs wok, & tofu skin salad. They were okay. The staffs were nice, too. It is not my #1 go-to rest, but I don't mind going back if needed.

    the tinny restaurant in the center of Lyon, it is nice restaurant to try the Chinese foods there, it is a bit oiled and spicy of Chinese chilli. It is almost the favorite "Boiled Spicy Chicken", we served the meal in Asian styles with Bowl of Rice. It is small places that we should be reservation in advance through the telephone in advance in the Afternoon for the evening hour.

👍 Nice experience in this new restaurant. Gentle staff, there is a nice feeling. I recommend the salads which are super tasty and creative. Could not experience the fresh juice as the restaurant seems to have some teething problems but I will come back in a few weeks to try more.
