What a delicious place!!! And it serves dinner from 12 pm , unlike other restaurants that start at 7pm. Service is amazing and they know to bring you extra plates because you share food.

The foods is delicious, I ordered the chicken 🐔 with potatoes, but the Belgian beer 🍺 is just ok (if I have to compare with German beer) .. the traditional dessert from Lyon 🍨 is not really taste special good . The young waiter guy I like him , very friendly and good English communication, so I give him a good tips.

A plenty of local genuine dishes Originally from Lyon, Andouillette, perfect cooked 👌. A little bit narrow between tables, but the space is limited and I do understand the reason for putting more tables near the walls.. Overall, a good French gastronomic experience

Wow great fantastic service. This was a great experience. Service was impeccable. Food superb. Especially the gratin dauphinois! Book a reservation otherwise you may not get in. The Hotel Carlton reserved a table for us.

We shared the mussels as an appetizer, had the steak with mushrooms and potatoes which was all delicious! They spoke Spanish, English and French. Wine was great 6.50€ all glasses of wine and 39€ for any bottle. Explained the menu in detail including their specials. We sat inside and it was a little hot although the doors were all open to the outside there was no breeze to help cool off the place.

Excellent restaurant that managed to meet my husband’s need for beef and my need for lighter fair. Both quality and flavor were well above standard. The staff were lovely and graciously accommodated my request for a tomato salad (not on the menu). English is spoken and an English menu board is available. Know, the restaurant was crowded and quarters were tight, even outside. If one needs special seating accommodations, it may be tricky. Reservations would be a good plan, though we slid in without one.

I was here in late afternoon, starving and craving for a lyonnaise salad. The man coming up to me was so nice and welcoming. The salad performed decently even though it is just a simple entre. Would definitely come back and try smtg else.

It is very accommodating for a person who speaks a little french. The food was delicious and presented very nicely. Overall, it was a great experience. I will certainly return when back in lyon next month.

Dinner was spectacular. Very delicious. The staff at the restaurant were very accommodating to help with recommendations and wine pairing. The duck foie gras with jam , fraise and toast was beyond amazing. Sorry no image. Pigeon , chefs kiss. Dessert: oeuf à la neige aux pralines Exceptional dinner.

Excellent food. Get the roasted bone marrow, roasted duck and fried sole. Excellent service, English spoken and rich food.

This is one of the best restaurants in lyon. Totally recommend this place for all food lovers, the menu is varied to please everyone! I tried the Magret de canard, it is amazingly delicious! The combination of magret de canard and the honey based sauce is just perfect.

The service at the restaurant was impeccable. With so many new venues having green staff due to covid, great customer service can be hard to come by. The waitresses all went above and beyond to accommodate our group of four and two babies. Food was good and a lovely way to try local cuisine

A wonderful meal on a romantic strip. Service was friendly and patient with our mild modifications. Felt special to be here. Server recommended a bottle of local white and it was magnifique. We’ve been through France for 2 1/2 weeks and it’s the best meal I’ve had so far. Dessert is on the way!

The food was good & they offer both English & French menus. Great wine selection. We tried to be adventurous with the andouille but unfortunately too intricate of a texture for our palate though the mustard sauce it was in & the accompanied scalloped potatoes were delicious. My beef tartar was more “stringy” than usual? Unsure why that was and if maybe tendons were in there but taste great aside from that. Make reservations.

The food is delicious. We had a cured meat and cheese platter to start with. The the types of cheese is absolutely a winner. My main the whole grilled fish is fresh and tender. I don't normally eat fennel but the fennel served with the fish is just not that strong and tasty. A perfect dinner in Lyon.

The staff was friendly, helpful and patient with us. Big chalk written menus both in french and english. The food was good value, very tasty and truly authentic french which is what we were looking for. I would’ve been happy having a bowl of that chicken sauce and dipping with bread all night long 😋😋

Escargot was interesting palate. Fun to start off with, and easy to eat. Overall food is interesting for a taste. Table service is excellent!

The staff were welcoming and gracious, the choice of dishes very nice and appropriate for the season. Service is prompt without being intrusive. Restaurant is small and very cosy with beautiful presentation and nice ambiance. Limited selection of [red] wines by the glass - everything else on the wine list is full bottles only. Overall very satisfying - highly recommended.
