This was the worst dinner I’ve ever had - the staff were rude, we waited over 30 minutes between each course, and one dish (fromage) was so bad that we had to dump it in the bread bowl in order to get the wait staff to take our plate. We paid 60€ per person for the Christmas menu but you could not pay me that much to come back.

I loved going here on our trip to France, the meal was incredible. Just thinking about it makes me want to go back right now. Everything about this restaurant is wonderful. While your there take it all in, the food, the smells, the architecture of the building and the interior decorations and yes even the upstairs bathrooms. All of it is so old world, it takes you back in time. The staff was sweet and understanding, willing to explain the meal which we all truly enjoyed.

It is a tourist trap and that is obvious when you sit down. That might not be all bad but sadly it is. The food - focused on regional specialties - is not cheap for the plain fare served. Staff know it is a tourist trap too, so while functional clearly do not care whether you enjoy your meal. Not good for families.

Ornate old Bistrot in busy restaurant district of Lyon. This place has a wide selection of classic and seasonal cuisine from the region. Food is tasty and service is friendly.

Some comments were negative, but we had an amazing experience from end to end. The staff was very professional and caring, the place is lovely, the food was tasty and really excellent (this is actual French food and French gastronomy, don’t come to eat something else). Thank you to the staff who made this lunch a great time.

Very very good food. Indoor and outdoor seating. My French is terrible but an English speaking waiter was found for us.... absolutely lovely young man.... a credit the restaurant. Fantastic service. The interior is beautiful.. bathrooms are beautiful.

It looked so charming! But worst experience! Crowded is okay, but waiter getting exasperated with me because I speak English is not okay. Waiter said I dont speak English then literally turned around and walked away and proceeded to ignore us. We left. A little flurry of staff at that point but our enthusiam for the place was gone, and we left. Cannot recommend when there are so many other attractive restaurants in the area.

Very disappointing! The decor and position are amazing, however the food is a disaster. We had the 2 courses menu available, the meat was very dry, even though it was slow cooked and with sauce , the fish was not bad but when they brought the desserts we realised that it was old, I’ve never had a “cake” so dry like that. I don’t recommend this place to anyone.

Fabulous restaurant for an authentic experience of eating in Lyon. The only exception to the excellent food was the amuse bouche. The French guy who ate next to us and I agreed it was just awful.

Good location in the more central area. Made a reservation upfront, but probably would have find a spot inside on Sunday as well. Speaking interior: go check it out! Food was good, wine as well. Enjoyed the menu option and weren’t disappointed. It’s a bit higher priced due to its location.

Good food, the entrée cheeses are delicious and the place is decorated very weird but in a cool way, wherever you look there's some bizarre or antique decoration. The place is cozy but might feel to small as you are next to each table and with all the coats in the winter, you really don't have much place to put them.

The starter couldn't finish it, was the famous sausage starter that was a collection of hams, I ate the half of them, the rest was out of my taste at least. The main was a beef soup with veggies, the soup was taste but the beef was just boiled without any taste left in it. Something that I could have at home and definitely not in an expensive price. And last but not least, we went for the homemade profiteroles for the dessert, they probably had them for days in the fridge, supermarkets have better ones that those homemade, we couldn't finish it. The service was excellent, and the people very friendly.

Beautiful large bistro in the heart of Lyon. Lots of seating place outside. The waiters are super nice, professional and funny at the same time. They were happy to turn a starter into a main course. The profiteroles were delicious.

We went with a person with lot of intollerances and they were very comprehensive and careful with her allergies. They made a special dish for her and we really appreciate that. The service was perfect and the food very tasty. Highly recommended!

Very nice art nouveau ambiance inside; lots of tables for outside dining. Traditional French; good service; very reasonable prices

Had a wonderful meal with regional favorites and other French dishes. Great atmosphere and very friendly wait staff (who included a selfie when taking our group photo 😂). Would recommend to anyone visiting Lyon.

Lunch: very good onion soup for 3 on a cold day and I had to try the regional specialty of pike quennelle which came piping hot floating in the sauce. Very light. Touristy area but nicely decorated with overly busy but nice staff.

Fabulous despite waiter telling me I had not ordered what I had ordered when he brought the wrong dish. Surely a misunderstanding but I didn't expect to be told I was wrong.. The customer is always right and why would I lie in front of my family? That aside, amazing decor and great food if a little pricey.

Never take a menu it is worse, except the main course, they had a desert with pineapple salad in water with chocolate cup cake on top of it, I dont know which part of France has this type of desert, France is know for it is pastery and deserts I believe

👍 Nice experience in this new restaurant. Gentle staff, there is a nice feeling. I recommend the salads which are super tasty and creative. Could not experience the fresh juice as the restaurant seems to have some teething problems but I will come back in a few weeks to try more.
