Incredible food, incredible prices, incredible owner! Love how he supports bringing in personal containers to fill up and take home. If you're hesitating about trying this place out, don't be! The variety of flavors makes it impossible to get tired of eating here! My personal favorite is the yogurt chicken :D

The food is super tasty, a big box is huge! It's definitely enough for two people. I'm a bit of a picky either and I still loved it. The flavours of the food are amazing and compliment each other great. Tastes like a home cooked meal (if your mom is a good cook). Every day there are enough vegan/vegetarian options as well as options for meat lovers. Would recommend to everyone and as previous review said, especially students. Go get a healthy meal for the same price as making it yourself, but quicker and tastier!

Love the food here. Amazing what they prepare every time and it is always something different. The only downside, which is why I am witholding 1 star from this review, is because if you go here during lunchtime... you can easily spend 30+ minutes waiting in line, even if you are the first person in the line. The owner is very friendly, but he does not stop talking to people. He talks so much that by the time he has server his first 1-3 customers, 30 minutes lunch break will have evaporated into thin air... and if you are #4 in the queue... you will be disappointed.

Such an amazing experience! The person helping was maybe a bit eccentric but he had all the time in the world to explain everything. And the food.. don't get me started! It was of course amazing but so unusual. When the chance comes I will 101% go again and so should you!

Delicious food for take away at a very good price. The owner is very friendly and has remained so over the years. Always happy to come back and leave with a good variety of food. Their oat cookies are well delicious. Recommended.

As a student with limited lunch budget, Cato by Cato is our safe haven. It located near Maastricht Library (by walking distance) and it offers delicious-vegan/plant base cuisines with a cheaper price than the other resto in the area. The place is relative small so we usually take-away the food, but it has a unique-vintage style decoration.

As many have said, indeed a good place for a student to eat cheaply. The portion sizes are big, and considering that the medium one cost me 6.5, it’s well worth the price. The food is delicious, and there’s decent variety. There’s no wifi and very few places to sit, so it’s mainly a takeaway spot. Other than that, it’s very solid.

I tried Bulgar with sweet potato , lentils and spices. It tasted good. I took the medium option but wasn't able to finish it up. So , the small option would be fine for one person.

Such an amazing place! The food is really tasty and pretty cheap for Maastricht. There are always many options to choose from, both veg and non-veg. It's great that the meals are inspired by cuisines from all over the world. The staff is also super nice and friendly. The places itself is really cute and I loved the low-cost vibe, especially the use of cans as flower pots.

usually the food is great and specifically the food is really affordable but please remove bbq Mississipi chicken from your menu. It was horrible, no taste, no spices and for the rest of the day I was spending my time doing business.

Best place for students on a budget in Maastricht. Plenty of vegan options and you can bring your own tupperware or get a container to eat there or take away. I'd recommend the Brazilian, daily Dahl and lentil peanut.
