We were sitting here with a group of twelve people having drinks. Suddenly, a waitress came up to us to complain about how two people from our group didn’t order a drink and that we would have to leave the table in 10 minutes if not everyone would order a drink. They made a whole drama about the fact that we only 10 drinks while we were 12 people and were super unfriendly about it. Would really not recommend!

In a very crowded Maastricht, we were lucky to find a table there. And luckily, it was a nice place. Large choice of dishes and a very friendly service. It doesn’t directly catch the eye but it deserves a visit.

Food was good but our waitress struggled visibly (possibly new?). Another server did follow up correctly when our food took over an hour to show up (while tables around us had arrived, eaten, and paid -- so something had clearly gone wrong). A few vegan/vegetarisch options were available (not tons, but some good things) and the drink selection is ample. Contrary to the food, drinks were served especially quickly each time, which was very nice. Probably worth trying again some time. :)

I had a pleasant lunch and the food was as the reviews said. I had a decent glass of rose wine. The coffee wasn't impeccable, but being Italian I'm picky when it comes to coffee.

Good pork schnitzel, but the fries and beer were excellent. We ate dinner in the atmosphere of the old market square. A place worth recommending

This place was a great spot for us to come with our toddler and dog. Cozy atmosphere. The Camembert appetizer was really tasty, and the ribs. Steak was a little tough. One waiter was slightly rude, but this girl who waited on us was sweet and made good recommendations. Would come again.

Ich hätte gerne 5 Sterne gegeben. Denn das Essen sah gut aus, auch wenn die Kaffees komischerweise etwas salzig waren (vielleicht ist das irgendein Trend). Leider waren wir ein wenig enttäuscht. Wir hatten 2 der Bagels für jeweils 13€ bestellt weil wir nach einer langen Fahrt noch nichts gegessen hatten. Auf der Speisekarte stand dahinter ein (V) was in den meisten Restaurants bedeutet es ist vegetarisch. In diesem Fall haben wir es falsch gelesen denn für diese Gerichte gibt es nur „die Option“ vegetarisch zu bestellen. Es war also ganz klar unser Fehler, dass Fleisch serviert wurde. Der Austausch war nett aber wir konnten es leider nicht annehmen da wir kein Fleisch essen und wollten selbstverständlich trotzdem zahlen weil es unser Fehler war. Wir haben fast eine halbe Stunde auf die Zubereitung gewartet und es sah auch echt toll aus. Leute die sich neu hinsetzten bekamen innerhalb von 2 min ihre Bagels (ganz sicher die, die wir eine 1min vorher nicht angenommen hatten). Soweit alles in Ordnung, da wir es nicht angerührt haben. Aber da die Küche sicher keinen Verlust machte, hofften wir irgendwie noch, dass man bei diesem Missverständnis ein wenig emphatischer ist. Es war einfach sehr enttäuschend dass man uns über 30€ für 2 Kaffee zahlen lies.

The worst Croque Monsieur I have ever seen, I just could not eat it. The waitress said it was ok, she is eating it every day.

Received personal service by the owner, completely at random. A man dedicated to satisfying customer expectations. Clearly an original Dutch experience. Food, service, and atmosphere all great. Attention to detail; felt noticed and appreciated. Highly recommend.

Cute cafe in the main square. Service was a bit slow, but overall a nice place to have a drink or a quick bite.

waiting for our breakfast more then half an hour. croissant wasn’t fresh. big breakfast was not rich - only one piece of cheese and ham. eggs Benedict were overcooked. we pay 31,70 for two. coffee was not included - very strange…

Lovely place with nice music. We had shrimps croquette, onion soup and stoofvles that comes with fries, with red wine on the side. All tasted good. The portion of the stooflves could use a bit more generosity.

Location good but service horrible. Had to ask waitress 3 times to order. The menue said you could order food but nope, only small snacks.

Lunch was delicious, we ordered the nachos dish and the rundvlees croquettes, service was excellent and bathrooms very clean. Will definitely return.

Nice to sit out in the sunshine over looking the market square. Limited selection of local beers. Waitress brought the wrong beer ...brun instead of blonde. The bittenballs were interesting when they finally came. The excuse was that the kitchen was busy, but no one else around us had ordered food.

If you are looking for an extensive continental breakfast this place will not disappoint. Croissants, french bread, wholegrain are served with omelet or sunny side up eggs, cheese, ham jams, butter and a generous portion of salad and fruits. Bubbles are optional but orange juice and coffee/tea included.

We have eaten here many times. Breakfast, lunch & Dinner. Always good. This visit also. Food; tomato soup, pasta funghi & dame blanche were really tasty. Service a little slower than normal as shortstaffed.

It has a great atmosphere. The waiters are kind, quick and engaging. We had a French onionsoup, it was great and would definitely recommend the dish!
