Stopped here to sample the massive beer selection and was not disappointed. They have menus in Dutch and English. I learned about the English menu while translating items from the Dutch menu. I didn't eat here since I had recently filled my belly elsewhere but their food offerings look good. Great place to stop by while in Maastricht. If I were in Maastricht longer, I would definitely go here again.

We had a dinner at this place. We had a french onion soup with a bread basket and special Gouverneur burger with chips and two beers and a crème brulé. Food was okay but the ambience is great. Service staff is very friendly. It is in the Central Square. A great location.

I normally have lunch here weekly . Today the staff were extremely under pressure which I understand is difficult as I work in the service industry myself . As I waited at my table I simply asked a waitress called Milou if she would mind taking my order when she is free . Her response was rude and unprofessional telling me to get the waiter who serves in the area i am sitting ? As if customers are meant to know which server works in what section??? Maybe if I was greeted when entering I would know who the server was . She should work on her customer service skills !!!!

A very popular place, so you might have difficulty finding a table in summer. The place offer a very large selection of beers and some nice tapas like food. A must visit when in Maastricht.

Our favourites bar in the center of Maastricht, they provide a huge variety of beer and cuisines. Our favorites is the guacamole nachos and beef.

Worst service ever. Sat there for 15 minutes, even asked to order. Waiter didn’t care. It was not busy at all. He even hat time for a chat with colleagues. We left without ordering. Good that the city offers plenty of other choices with way better service.

Fantastic Dutch bar an unbelievable beer selection! Great patio with attentive staff and comfortable chairs. Had the Belgian stew, blood sausage, and shrimp krokets. All was amazing quality and for about 10-14EUR per main. Beers were 2-4EUR for the most part. Definitely recommend it!

Nice atmosphere and a wide variety of beers. Delicious hamburger is highly recommended if you are hungry. We were there with children, offered a table inside and left the venue quite satisfied. Staff are experienced, happy and friendly. A must go in Maastricht!

A cute cafe bar in the center of Maastricht. A place where more locals come. The staff at the reception of Amrath Hotel Bigarre recommended it to us. We preferred onion soup, irish burger and chicken satay. Onion soup is as satisfying as a main course. You can share for two to try other dishes as well. Be sure to try it. There is a variety of beers to satisfy everyone's quest. It says on the menu that there are 250 different varieties. The employees are very caring and stylish. We chose to sit outside in front of the venue as the interior is more crowded. Even though it was one night in late February the heaters were adequate. Prices are normal. The service is of good quality. It is recommended to spend one night in Maastricht.

One of the best cafe and beer shop ever. A huge beer selection and nice food, one of the best burger in town and also nice shape potatoes chips. I super recommend it. Very quick service and nice ambient. We really enjoyed and I hope you will do the same.

An excellent place of you're looking for a beer to try out. Their variety of amazing, both from the bottle and from the tap. The food, on the other hand, is nothing to write home about. The soup was way too salty, the chips were fried dead, and the burger meat was minced so fine (looking quite cheap) that the otherwise tasty burger wasn't too nice after all. Anyway, you don't come here for the food but for the beer - their home brew is excellent and the choice outstanding. Service was friendly and good as well, though we had to wait a little bit. We'll come back, but not with an empty stomach 😉

Excellent selection of beers. Great terrace. Service was a bit slow, but that was to be expected given the personnel shortage and the amount of guests. Food was mostly good, except for the homemade chips, which were a bit on the hard and chewy side.
