Last visited August 2023 Ordered the ribs with baked/jacket potatoes. Good size and rather tasty. Meat slid off the bone. This was the first time in Maastricht and a number of other places had recommended this place for meat lovers.

Mojito is a simple drink in which hard to perfect. Often too bitter or too much mint. They deliver one of the best, perfectly balanced between sweetness and freshness. Two glasses simply not enough!! Also they have special mixologist cola! Not to forget, their wonderful steak! 🥩👍

After a beautiful sight seeing city of Maastricht we went to this place. From the beginning was chaos, waiter brought a menu but we couldn't order tea. Had to wait 20 minutes to just say, that we would like a tea please. Than of course another delay with bringing them. We ordered 2 rib eye medium. 3 times my mother was sending her steak back to the kitchen. I couldn't chew my steak, was so hard. Neither did my Mum. Steak was hard, we couldn't even cut them with knives. After that farse I ask the waitress what shall we do, we left steaks on the plate. She was asking me milion questions. Didn't you like the quality of the meat or the way its prepared.... I didn't like both. My Mum as well. I showed her - please look at our plates, we are not eating that hard meat. Than she was gone for a long time. When she was back, she was talking to her colleagues for quite some time. I asked her kindly - could U go back to me, we just missed our train, she was gone somewhere else again 🤦🏼‍♀️ After waiting in our jackets, disgusted by its food and behavior, she came back and said ok u just pay 7 euro for drinks. Totally chaos, disorganization and low quality of meat and products.

I still believe these are the best ribs in town (and, personally, among the best one I've ever tried). We ate here several times, but this last time the ribs were especially tender and juicy (even more than the past). I'm definitely very glad I went for the all you can eat option. The place is super cozy both in the winter (very warm and smells amazing inside) and in the summer (when they open the giant windows they have, you can get tables that are basically half in and half out) - and the open kitchen is the cherry on top of the cake for me. Delivery is also super nice (and portions tend to be very generous).

Choose wisely. If you’re willing to spend the money go for a steak, however if you choose to go with a “cheaper” option you might find yourself disappointed. The chicken on skewers, is literally a single metal skewer with 4 chicken thighs. Sure the chicken tasted good but by itself isn’t worth 18€. The fries however are fantastic and definitely worth it as a side for any main course. The ribs were quite good and overall the atmosphere is quite nice.

Excellent beer as they have triple karmeliet6, steak 🥩 were delicious 😋 the nachos fantastic and the service very goods, we paid 55 euros per person, so expensive with 2 beers and 2 glass of wine 🍷 but no dessert.

It's nice and cozy inside and an overall good atmosphere. The service was very friendly. The food and drinks came with a relatively slow pace and the food was decent. I had the truffle burger and for the dessert the "drowning brownie". The truffele burger was good and the brownie was a bit dry.

The ribs, steak & chicken were great. The pulled pork was meh. The service was excellent. Recommend for an American style cut of meat in Maastricht.

The steak and red wine that I had was really nice. You can share one steak and you will be full since it is coming with potatoes. The place is full on especially fridays and saturdays so you may need a reservation before going. The atmosphere is really chill and cozy. I would definitely recommend you to go to this place while visiting Maastricht.

Whenever we are craving good steaks, cocktails, and friendly service we head straight to Carnal! Their hot & spicy ribs aren’t too spicy for this American family but have great flavor. We love the BBQ butter to dip our steaks in. If the chef’s side is spicy green beans, so yourself a favor & order it. The bartender makes a killer mojito and the drunken brownie is the perfect end to a delicious meal!

The extreamly high bar table are not secured to the wall - not sure how this was over looked - the table fell on our laps as my partner left our table. The rib-eye steak didn't have much taste and was very fatty - knife provided could not cut through. Ordered medium rare but was rare.

The ribs are very good, but you need more employees. They were overloaded and couldn’t handle all the tables. A cola I ordered never arrived. And the bier was warm. Would come back.

Not too shabby. Meat is pretty good and quick to the table. The main point is that the service is really good and friendly!

Awesome restaurant, one of the best spare ribs that I had in Europe! Excellent service, tasty food and reasonable prices. Don't forget your dessert at the end. I highly recommend the Milk & Cookies and the Browning Brownie. Will visit again when in Maastricht 👍

The place was a bit crowded when I visit there, but it didn’t take too long until my food is served. Staffs are helpful and friendly. The tenderloin was perfectly cooked, but the dessert portion was a little bit too big for me. Worth the price.

Gotta say hands down one of the best steak houses I have ever been to. Staff is really friendly, could accomodate large group of people, steak was perfectly cooked and it is just so so very good. Everything! Highly recommend! A must when in Maastricht❤️

An unpretentious steakhouse in Maastricht. I have been to many steak places in my life, and yes, I must say: this was one of the best steaks I ever had. Juicy, yet with a firm outside surface. No fantasy house additions, just a great pepper sauce and superb fries. Way to go, guys!

Really nice food for a surprisingly fair price! Location and service is pretty great as well. Only small remark might be that the food could have been a bit more salted. So maybe just ask for some additional salt or if you order a steak specify before that you want that thing nicely salted before frying/grilling.

fantastic evening meal. the place is busy, on a Tuesday evening there was a queue for tables so definitely book ahead unless you are 1 or 2 people and can sit at the bar. I had the all you can eat ribs. Alex the barman was good company and seemed to be mixing some amazing cocktails! would definitely return if I'm in the area again

Both the burger and the ribs were really good, wide range of side dishes too, unfortunately they are not included in the main dish price. They were so kind to offer us drinks because we had to wait to long to get served.

Man, cool joint...!!! The service is awesome! (wink especially if your Eastern European!) All things considered though, the food is delicious and cooked top notch! The variety of beers can be a bit improved but the quality of the cocktails more than make up for it!

I was there 2 days ago and I had one of the best dinners of my life. Delicious food and the staff was so kind. I really recommend go there eat something.
