Great little pub. Was in Maidstone for work for a few nights and happened upon this place on my 1st night thankfully. Really look after their beers, lots of options for cider drinkers and the staff and regulars were very friendly and able to recommend a few beers as I went along. Great pub quiz too. Just a shame it's 300mi from home!

You’d think that an underground bar set amongst plumbers merchants and the like might lack soul and character. However you’d be wrong. I loved the vibe - dark, cool and cozy. It reminded me of the kind of bar you find off the beaten track abroad. A hidden gem. Definitely unique in Maidstone and worth a visit - great for those who appreciate good conversation and good beer in a relaxed environment.

Love this Maidstone Micro Pub. Lovely atmosphere with plenty of space. Good selection of many ales including sour ales. Ciders too with snacks available. Great prices too. Within walking distance of town. What's not to like. They even ask what you like and recommend what's good for you. Worth a visit. Chilled micro pub and great place to hang with friends and talk!

Good beer drinkers pub loads of cask and keykeg beers. In good beerguide 2023. Bit difficult to find its in a yard eith other businesses eg plumbers. Look for a set of downward steps.

I've been here a couple of times now. A good number of well kept beers in casks and kegs, and a wide range of ciders. Nice to see a good range of traditional bar snacks too, from pork scratchings to pickled eggs (of many different types!). The inside is somewhat basic - has a cellar feel and a good number of wooden benches.
