Alhamdulillah. My experience with the hotel has always been beautiful in terms of accommodation quality, comfort and luxury, and in terms of the elegant treatment of its employees. I would like to thank all housekeeping staff and the rest of the hotel staff for their kind and generous treatment. Good cleanliness & Good services. Please keep it up. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The rooms were not well maintained and full of dust - we had two rooms and both were consistently dusty so the hotel hasn’t maintained it cleanly. However there are two major upsides - 1, the location is fantastic and right in front of the Haram entrance! 2- the staff is very extremely helpful and friendly. We had to take my father in a wheelchair and they were also kind with a helping hand! 5* to a few - attaching pictures with their names so that you can also give them a shout out if you see them

I give one star for the excellent location and another star for the room service, otherwise I would not give any star! Rooms are very small and the hotel has the worst ventilation system, the smell of the rooms is really bad, humidity makes you sick. We upgraded to a bigger room, paid almost 1000 SAR more per night and we could only get more space as the manager said the smell is in all rooms, and blamed the city system for this problem, although my friends who stayed in a different hotel at the same time didn’t have this problem! They also have an automation system for AC and lights which is very old and doesn’t not work properly. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

The hotel was good. Professional service and the staff are very polite and welcoming. The only issue I had during my stay was that my bathroom had some small flies inside near the toilet. It was a bit off putting but the hotel were able to resolve it within 12 hours. I do feel like the interior of the bedrooms needs improvement. The cupboards and bathroom tiles seem dated. I also noticed the standing shower in my room was leaking water from the outside which was a bit of an inconvenience as I had to place a towel on the floor to prevent slipping. Overall my genuine rating would be 4/5. If they could update the internal bedroom decor and the bathroom equipment and size I would've given a 5

I am writing to express my appreciation for the excellent service provided by your housekeeping staff during my recent stay at your hotel. The attention to detail, cleanliness, and comfort of my room exceeded my expectations. I was impressed with the high level of professionalism and care demonstrated by your housekeeping team, and it made my stay at your hotel a memorable one. The room was always immaculate, and the staff was friendly and attentive. They made sure that everything was well stocked and that I had everything I needed. I was particularly impressed with how quickly they responded to my requests and how they always went out of their way to ensure that I was comfortable. I cannot speak highly enough of the exceptional service provided by your housekeeping team. They truly went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable and stress-free. I would highly recommend your hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and welcoming place to stay in Makkah. Thank you once again for such a wonderful experience.

Not the worst but definitely not the best. I'd argue that this hotel is not 5 stars. While I don't come to Makkah for luxury. I was extremely irked at how inflexible I felt I at this hotel for this price point. I've stayed here twice and I can give a more accurate review of what you can expect. The bad I've dealt with a variety of problems here. I was hearing a lot of construction noise. The shower drain was clogged and I had to get them to come fix it. The air conditioner seems to behave the same no matter what temperature you set it's very cold. The toilets flush awkwardly and you need to hold the flush for a few seconds to get it working. These things should already be working when a guest visits a five star hotel. The rooms are kind of small. If you plan on working remotely this hotel makes it difficult. The business center is paid by the hour even if you have your own laptop. There are no real amenities here. Be prepared to stay in your room most of the time or the restaurants. For the price this place commands you can get much better value at the other hotels. The good The hotel does look nice and is very clean. You get a nice view and are close to the mosque. The bathrooms are well equipped and have a ventilator. You have access to hot and cold water. High quality toiletries.

It’s an old hotel but it’s the best hotel if u want easy exit to the holy mosque, rooms are clean and big, there services are great and quick! Super great breakfast they have too many options of it. It’s changeable and the price like Intercontinental over the world prices but overall good to spend the time here near to Al Haram. They characterized by their refreshing smell that u will never ever forget..

Every single room in the hotel is smoking except for the first floor. I had no choice but to accept a stinky room otherwise i would get poor views. Also you cannot control the room temperature. I like my room to be 80F. I believe the hotel sets it at 65 to 75. The water for showering also was not hot enough. Otherwise the hotel is great if you can deal with these drawbacks.

Had the absolute worst experience ever. I mean, despite that the furniture is crumbling, the ironing table was my gramma's age and had a broken leg, the staff were so unprofessional! We were checking out around 6:30AM to drive an hour-and-a-half drive to Jeddah's airport so we can catch our 9:10 flight. They made us wait around 30 minutes to check the minibar (which we took absolutely nothing from), and when the employee came back they charged us for 188SAR!!! We were trying so politely to explain that we took nothing and we can both go up to the rooms right now to check. The items that he said were "missing" weren't there when we first checked in! The employees were so rude specially the receptionist. He was implying they we're just lying to get out of it and asking us "then who should pay the charges, the employees????" In such a disrespectful manner. Why should we pay either 😂 I mean we just paid around 7k for a 2 night stay, it's NOT the money it's the manipulation and absolute rudeness. And THEY KNEW we had to run fast for the drive and the flight so we had no time to argue nor make a complaint. When we asked for the manager he/she "conveniently" weren't there. Overall, will never repeat my experience with them. If you're looking for the best hotel in Makkah with good service, walking distance from Alharam and with Alkaaba view option, I would recommend Fairmont. It's absolutely the best hotel I've ever stayed in.

Perfect experience all around. Especially our experience with Hattem at front counter he made all our requests seem less and took the time to make sure we were comfortable and happy. The hotel is in the ideal location in front of the haram gates and the low levels make it easy to get in and out with out waiting for the lifts for a long time.

Recently, I have been twice to Dar al Tawhid Makkah, first time was for 10 days in December and the second time was for 9 days in January. From the moment I arrived I was welcomed by their friendly and professional reception team, that knows exactly what to do and treated me like a family member. The room was so nice and the room service can never be better. Nevertheless, the resteraunts! You have to fight not to gain weight. I strongly recommend staying at Intercontinental Dar al Tawhid Makkah.

Love this hotel, my first choice when coming to Omera , very well decorated, spacious rooms. Excellent breakfast buffet which became bigger with more food options than before. Friendly staff ( served by Siraj,) . Front desk staff Masheal was so nice. Room service catering & dry cleaning is super expensive. Recommended. Enjoy. NK

One of the best hotels in Makkah. Their hospitality and convenience is unmatched (in my opinion). Our stay was very welcoming and comfortable. The location is pretty central to all the surrounding malls and shops and it is walking distance to Gate 79 (took all of 4-5 mins to get there). Everyone, the concierge, environmental services, the front desk, everyone was super nice and friendly.

Staying at the property presently during Hajj. Love the location! The staff are all smiles and eager to help! Enjoying my dinner buffets but I wish the breakfast buffets had a bit of a more of a change everyday! But overall highly recommend :)

Amazing hotel right inside the Haram. You can pray in the prayer room inside the hotel which is part of the haram and is very clean and comfortable. You can also look at the mosque from the window. The buffet breakfast was great and the staff were very helpful. Walking distance to most shops and mosque.

One of the best hotels in Mekkah. Amazing location, rooms, food and above all the staff. Thanks for such great stay and making everything to satisfy your customers. Special thanks to Mr Abdulaziz Thabet and Mr Fahad from front desk and all the restaurant and house keeping teams.

The hotel is located is just couple steps of Haram abroad. Hotel decorations are so luxury which has a touch of intercontinental themes. Reception representatives are very friendly and supportive. They accepted early check in by 5 hrs ! Breakfast is international and tasty with diversity choices. Finally, having accommodation in this hotel is an experiment will never regret :)

By far the best hotel in the Haram area. Amazing service. Very kind staff from reception to waiters to housekeeping. Very impressed with the Saudi staff as well - very professional, kind and generous. Special shout-out to محمد طرابييه Things to improve: - AC is so cold - worth revisiting the furniture and interior design of the hotel feels a little bit too much

I had an absolutely amazing experience at the Intercontinental Makkah! The place exudes elegance and comfort, creating a serene atmosphere. The service was top-notch, with the staff going above and beyond to make my stay memorable. The culinary delights were a true highlight, with a diverse menu that satisfied all my cravings. The location, just a stone’s throw away from the holy sites, made my pilgrimage all the more special. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. It truly offers a five-star experience that combines luxury, service, food, and a perfect location, all in one exceptional package.

The hotel is beautiful but the rooms have so much moisture that I couldn’t sleep and was coughing the whole time. Food has no taste. Staff is amazing. Fadi one of the staff at the buffet is amazing. Served with huge smile. Amazing customer service skills which lots of people lack in this city. I hope next time when I visit I will see the improvements

I had an absolutely wonderful week stay at Dar ul Tawhid. Location - fantastic. The moment you step out, you are steps away from walking inside the gate and into the mataf. The hotel is situated adjacent to all major malls and eateries. Hotel cleanliness - amazing again. The decor of the main lobby and my room was top notch. The hotel foyer gave a Great Gatsby vibe and the interior of the room was very chic French. Daily housekeeping and the housekeeping staff were very responsive to my all timings of needing the room to be kept clean. My family and I are especially grateful to Mr Badder and Mr Salman for their care and hospitality in the Club Lounge during our stay. The regular staff who looked after us were consistent, kind and had the best interpersonal skills I have had during any stay. This human factor makes Dar Ul Tawhid a cut above the rest and sets a very high bar for the competition out there.

The best hotel in Makkah. The rooms are always clean and the service inside the hotel is great ( not when you call though). The elevators design is well thought out and doesn't get as crowded as the other hotels. The downside is that alot of times it's fully booked.

Everything is the best in this Hotel. The room space, the service, the food, the staff are great and helpful. Something that you always hope when you are in Mecca is that you can reach Masjidilharam in one step out of your hotel door. And This hotel offer you this privilege which is amazing. Arie concierge is very helpful and the friendliest staff with his beautiful smile. Truly an asset for the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel for all my family members in the future visit.

Salaam. This is our second stay at the hotel. In our opinion, this is one of the best hotels, if not the best hotel, to stay in at Makkah. The reason being the staff are very good, the service is very good, and when you step out of the hotel, you enter directly onto the white marble of the Grand Mosque. The breakfast is excellent. The team here and hospitality is fantastic. The rooms are very nice and clean and requests are catered for very quickly. One of the other good things about this hotel is that the lifts are very quick, and for anyone who has stayed at any of the other hotels they will understand why I referred to this point. I would like to make a special mention to Mishal, Ibrahim, and Ahmad, and the rest of the team who are exemplary with their smile, service, and can do attitude Thank you very much to the whole team, and we hope that other hotels can learn a lesson on how customer service and hotel should be. Many thanks.

Absolutely wonderful experience. The cleanliness, location, and food quality were exceptional aspects. During pandemic times, the hotel was well sanitized. The location was really ideal, next to King Fahd Gate towards the back, and a shopping souk to the front. There were two key restaurants, Al Rehab for breakfast and Az Zamzam for dinner. Both had fresh and authentic options available. Definitely great for preforming a brief Umrah trip.

Amazing hotel with excellent facilities and amenities and have the best location in the world immediately in front of Mecca the center of the world. The door of the hotel immediately faces the Haram. Very clean room and bathroom. Amazing open Buffet great quality food. Very nice mezzanine. Excellent café lounge overlooking the Haram. The staff were amazing. Beginning from the valet to the reception to the cleaners.

As usual i would give it more stars if possible. From the moment you are outside the hotel to checking in to breakfast, everything is of a high standard. You feel like royalty, nothing is too much and the staff are friendly and always smiling. But i am extremely disappointed with zamzam cafe in side the lobby, We felt like not welcomed in this cafe , Service was really bad, We weren’t happy with the service at all, really slow and we had to call them every single time. Also the staff was very pushy and unfriendly. We spoke to the Supervisor؛ No apologies, no regret, He just ignored the situation :))

  • 5/5 Deema A. 1 year ago on Google
The service is great and it has a great location it’s less than a minute walk to Al Haram. I didn’t like the interior design personally but it has some beautiful aspects to it if you’re ever visiting Makkah for Hajj or Umrah I highly recommend it.

Visited Makkah with my mother and wife for 3 days and this was the best location I could ask for. Such a memorable experience. As you step out of the Hotel, you're in Masjid al-Haram. Beautiful interiors all over the hotel. This hotel doesn't just look Royal but also treats you like Royalty. I was checked in by Mr. Sultan from the front desk, smooth check-in, appreciated the business and explained to me everything I needed to know from the onsite club lounge, restaurant, and cafe. You can enjoy the Haram view from several rooms, restaurant, and ZamZam cafe. I mostly interacted with staff at the front desk, concierge, club lounge, and restaurant who were all extremely helpful. The supervisor at the club lounge treated us like VIPs. The rooms were, clean, well maintained, and serviced daily.

Our stay was excellent because of the good reception, the good treatment, the cleanliness of the room and the hotel in a more comprehensive way,, and one of the main reasons for our presence for the third time in the hotel is the presence of Mr. Muhammad Siraj, as he facilitates all matters of a comfortable stay for us,,
