My husband and I made a deliberate trip to Sadler’s for Beef Wellington. We even called in advance. We love Filet Mignon but had never tried Beef Wellington. It was cooked perfectly Medium Rare as ordered. It looked beautiful. After a few bites in my husband and I looked at each other. We tried to distinguish it as maybe the mushrooms underneath the crust but that wasn’t it. It was gamey tasting. It was the meat itself. At 37$ per meal I expected a bit more as far as freshness and flavor. The mashed potatoes had no potato flavor. They tasted like watery instant potatoes. The fresh vegetable medley and mashed sweet potatoes were perfect.The bread was good but it would have been nicer if served warm so the chilled butter pats would melt. Our server was cordial and showed concern but we are older and we didn’t want to complain. We left an 18% tip. It’s a nice warm friendly restaurant. We will return but will definitely try another entree next time. Thank you.

I ordered the Pan Seared Scallops with Asparagus risotto, mashed sweet potatoes and fresh green beans. It was so good and the scallops were done just right. Definitely happy I stopped here. Perfect stop before going to Foxfarm Brewing which is less than a 20 minutes drive.

This place was popping on a Tuesday afternoon. Best chicken salad sandwich I have had in a long time. The broccoli cheddar soup also to die for. When they asked if we wanted desert we went for it and had a red velvet chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream 😋

This is my mother's new favorite restaurant. We have been here twice and the food is delicious! I appreciate the wonderful vegetable options and servings. We enjoyed the salmon that was cooked perfectly and a delicious peach/blueberry cobbler for dessert. The atmosphere is charming with the option of dining outside. Delicious homemade food with a small attached bakery for dessert on the go if you're full after your meal. They also sell fresh bread. I look forward to my next visit.

Got dinner here as a large party on a weekend night, food was amazing everyone loved their dishes; very fairly priced and family friendly. The wait staff was very pleasant even though they were obviously very busy! Patio is lovely too lots of flowers and shade. 10/10 would recommend.

Very good food and nice interior. The staff are friendly and the service is fantastic. They also have some really nice baked goods from their bakery in a case at the front, I highly recommend the peanut butter cookies, they're delicious.

We love this place for its warm atmosphere and the great food from appetizers to main entrees to desserts. The service is stellar with servers who are always attentive and friendly. When our guests from NY come to visit us, Sadler's is a place to showcase the best Connecticut offers.

Been going here for years. Great food and atmosphere, along with outstanding service makes this a "go-to" place. Check out the dessert selection; always a number of choices available at the table or yo take home.

We sat right in front of the quaint, warm fireplace. Food was great.Tasty. Service was ok. It is pricy..like everything thing else going up. Wonderful homemade like desserts.Will return.

Sunday night's dinner at Sadler's was outstanding. I ordered the scallop special. The scallops were cooked to perfection and the risotto and vegetables were a perfect accompaniment. I appreciate having such a quality restaurant in the area. Thank you Sadler's.
