Food and price was ok. Nothing to complain about them. But you expect much more from 200 years old historic location.

Nice experience but unfortunately no tea, no deserts

This place was excellent. It is a reconstruction of a traditional iranian house with different shops selling persian handicrafts and including a huge restaurant. This place hasn't got long opening times.

It has some historic shops but mainly focused to be a restaurant rather than an "Instagrammable" place, noticeably the water fountain was quite dirty, icy and unkept. As for food, it's a bit rare to find whole rotisserie/fried chicken around here, this one was flavourful but the side salad was inconsistent (from each visit) and of bad quality or rather spoiled! You can also get some onion filled chicken broth on the side if you ask for it, it was very tasteful but overpowering. The service was good, but something was annoying and unseen before, tipping one server led to the cleaning person to come from far just to clean the table right after we stood up and looking us uncomfortably for a tip... Outside of the restaurant there was a Cafe, its tea was great and up to the standard, its cake not so much.

This place is got such a nostalgic, vibe to it, the moment you walk in, you feel like you just traveled back in time hundred years. The food and the atmosphere is very vibrant, and overly spacious. This place serves iranian cuisine and they do a great job at it. I love the Dizzi here specifically.

If you want to try Iranian traditional food- this restaurant is the best choice in Mashhad! Huge and delicious portions!

They don't really have vegetarian options. Traditional perisan food here is mouthwatering. Most dishes are pure meat with very little other ingredients added to them. Not very flavorful but tasty. The price is neither cheap nor expensive. The complex itself is an old caravanserai. Worth a visit but unfortunately the main focus is on the shops and the restaurant. It is overly crowded and a bit overrated too.

It's a good choice for shopping and dinning in a historical place like this.

We did not like the food. Chicken was horrible😫 I feel they need to find out another chef. The place was nice and beautiful any way

I went there 2 times, the restaurant closes 4 pm , and the second time we went 3:50 pm the personnel was acting like they were angry or something like that , unprofessional staff . But the food was good 8/10

It fantastic restaurant in Holly Mashhad specially the general environment inside you feel you live in traditional Persian family life. It's worth it to visit this restaurant.

Wonderful place ... lovely restaurant

I'd read and about Baba Ghodrat before, but I didn't know It was such a great complex, aside from the restaurant itself, there are many shops, including gift shops with a lot of handicraft items. There's also some clothes shops that sell clothes made in Iran (great quality, I bought 2 shirts!) The restaurant is great too. The whole building is a caravanserai, and it just feels peaceful to be in a building with traditional architecture. There are only 3 cons: 1- There's not enough ventilation (actually there's enough air flow in traditional architecture, but the restaurant's bread bakery is inside the building so the air doesn't feel fresh) 2- Almost all items on the menu are served with large amount of food, so it might not be suitable for couples (you can take away the remaining food) 3- You have go there early. The favorite items on the menu are limited.

Food is very delicious and large meal for its price.
