Brussels Royotel

Hotel

👍 Hear me out... This is not a hotel to bring the family to. You need to keep expectations low, but if your traveling by yourself or with a partner and are too old for hostles this place is perfect. Try to stay on floor 5, it's got an amazing view. Yes, a little neglected but you get your own room and... People often mention room,

Really bad place. Pipe runs through the toilet. You can hear the water run through when using the toilet. There is no real door for the toilet. Only a makeshift door which has no lock. (It is supposed to be a 4 people room. Wifi didn't work much, got dc again and again. Rooms are not as spacious as shown in pics. No sound insulation between walls. Creaky beds.

Yes, a little neglected but you get your own room and bathroom for cheap. It's right downtown next to everything. (15min walk) don't expect much from breakfast.

    1. The hotel rooms are not even close to what we see in the pictures. 2. Heating was not working at all, we had to suffer while staying in the cold room. 3. The room is a sharing room with 4 beds, however there is no lock in the bathroom. 4. The people at reception were not very pleasant at all, the checkin time is 12 noon but they just bluntly told us that we need to wait till 12.30 5. Horrible room service:the Next day they kept 2 new towels, however no. of guests is 3. When I asked them to give extra towel, the guy said "why do you need it.." also provided just the small towel...that was reallllly wierd!!! 6. And the biggest problem: the wifi was not working properly..even after repeated complaint, we didnt get internet connection for most of our stay there.

Not that bad for a two-stars hotel. Beds are comfortable and the personnel at the reception quite friendly. We only had a problem that was immediately resolved . We had booked for a room with four single beds but they gave us a room with two single beds and a king bed. Some rooms need maintenance (especially the bathroom). It would have been nice to have a desk with a chair in the room but maybe there is not enough space.

Not even basic things were available in this hotel. It looked like 100 years old place, with no proper facility. No working hairdryer, shower is very poor. No proper lighting. No plug points to charge mobile phones. Altogether it spoilt the holiday mood.

It was a horrible place to stay- so sorry but it was not suitable to continue their business. I have to cancel my reservation when I got there. There was no electricity and the room was smelly. Cheapoair should take it off from their listing ! Worst part was I didn't get a refund since I cancelled it after I saw the horrible condition of the place.

When booking it said parking available, but this turned out to be a paid car park that was €14.50 for 9+ hours. Not the end of the world but annoying when we thought parking would be free. The room was OK but didn't feel very clean and was too hot all night. The walk into the centre of Brussels was only 20 minutes so for the price that was OK.

This place is really disgusting. The rooms were not even cleaned when we checked in and there was hair everywhere. Extremely rud staff and doesnt care about their clients good being. Plus, the hotel is located right behind a street full of prostitutes and drug dealers NOT SAFE AT ALL!!

Rooms were super old acually the bathroom door in our room was smaller than it should be and balcony door was broken let the wind inside But staff was very helpfull and they have luggage storage if you arrive early and its free of charge. It is walking distance to center of Brussels which is important if you dont want to pay for public transport. It is in a Turkish neigbourhood which means you can eat Adana kebap and künefe in 2 mins walk Think that we paid less than 20€ per person it wasnt that bad coz for Brussels it is really cheap.
