I've
been
taking
my
grandson
for
swimming
lessons
each
week
for
the
last
2
years
and
he
is
mostly
loving
it.
The
classes
consist
of
upto
10
children
per
class
and
classes
last
for
30
minutes.
Personally
I
would
prefer
to
see
no
more
than
8
children
per
class.
This
costs
£23
pm.
This
is
for
a
30
minute
class
each
week.
This
will
still
be
charged
even
if
your
child
does
not
attend
the
class.
If
the
centre
cancels
the
class
for
any
reason,
you
should
not
be
charged
for
that
week.
Just
keep
an
eye
on
your
DD
and
talk
to
the
centre
if
there's
a
discrepancy.
Most
teachers
are
punctual
and
focussed
in
their
classes.
You
can
swope
classes
if
there
is
space
in
another
group
of
the
same
swimming
stage.
All
my
interactions
with
the
staff
have
been
friendly
and
professional.
There
are
two
life
guards
in
attendance
to
cover
the
two
swimming
areas.
There
are
no
longer
any
covid
restrictions
in
place.
Cleanliness
has
always
been
quite
good
considering
the
volumes
of
people
using
the
centre
at
peak
times.
Within
each
swimming
stage
there
are
various
objectives
for
each
child
to
complete
before
they
move
up
into
the
next
stage.
The
center
uses
an
app
to
monitor
each
childs
progress
but
this
has
been
malfunctioning
for
months
and
more
recently
stop
working/updating
completely.
This
seems
to
have
been
resolved
now,
since
March
2022.
With
the
children
in
any
given
class
frequently
changing,
I
cannot
see
how
the
teacher
can
currently
gauge
the
optimal
lesson
plan
for
each
class
in
any
given
stage.
Whilst
this
does
not
seem
to
be
a
safety
issue,
it
does
mean
that
classes
can
occasionally
be
boring
and
less
productive,
if
the
majority
of
the
group
are
already
accomplished
in
a
given
exercise
which
continues
to
be
favoured.
Overall
I
still
score
the
centre
4
as
my
grandson
is
enjoying
the
lessons
and
is
still
slowly
progressing
with
his
swimming
abilities,
and
£23
pm
is
still
value
for
money.
