I ordered the whole SAJ plate on Friday 09 June , time of lunch. Look at the photos and see what they give me! Are you not ashamed thieving your clients like this?! The quality of the bread was also terrible! I will never come back here. By the way, I usually ordered the same plate in the other Boustan branches but never been treated like this.

Food was good! Service was good but just a little bit over priced for what it is. Kinda felt like they were scamming drunk people after the bar, it’s located near bars and restaurants and they know people are a little too intoxicated so I kind of felt that they were taking advantage of that. I ordered 2 X trios comes with 2 sandwiches 2 drinks and 2 potatoes they were $12 each supposed to come up to $24 plus tax let’s say $30 they charged me $44 because I asked for extra garlic for my potatoes?? I tried to tell the cashier that there might have been a mistake or why I’m paying $44 and he wasn’t very clear plus they were rushing because it was busy! Anyways good food but just wanted to let people know to be careful what they charge you.

Disgusting food 🤢 that comes with flys inside the plate what y want me to explain more, like bathrooms like their kitchen . This place should be close for the well bing of the customers and for the health reasons . 100% percent I’m escalating this to health and safety food Canada . Forget the plate full of rice and slightly dry Chicken on the top . Shame on you serving ppl this way , no professionalism or éthique !!!! 😤

The garlic sauce is really really good with everything. I got the standard sized mixed (beef & chicken) bowl and it’s so delicious - the portion is big enough for 2 people as a post-concert meal at midnight. Probably the best shawarma I’ve ever had, the tabouleh and potatoes were exceptional and the meat was properly seasoned. Wish I was in Montreal longer so I could eat more 😅

The poutine chicken was great, service also, and they give free snacks. It’s a friendly location to try out something different.

Asked for the vegan plate and it was better than ever ! The staff made sure that everything was vegan, asked if I wanted the vegan sauce, they repeated the word vegan at least 10 times🤣 So I was really confident !! Portion was really big too, and the vegan chicken was perfectly cooked. I really LOVE that vegan option:)

So I would have given 5 stars because the first 2 times I had the vegan pita it was incredible but this time it was just bland and the next morning I had food poisoning even though I ate the food right away. I can’t say for sure if it’s from this because there’s a lot of things it could have been but I’m suspicious now after reading other reviews about their food safety. The vegan meat was cold and resulted in the wrap tasting unexciting. they also didn’t have cups for a glass of water which makes me wonder, what’s their tap water quality like if they don’t want to serve it and how does the resto function without clean tap water ? But back to the main issue: why is it such an issue for a fast food place to get paper cups especially when charging so much for food? Even subway has them. I had to eat food while thirsty . The soup was good but generic . For $18 it didn’t feel worth it this time especially because I took it to go so I ate on a bench lol . But on the bright side they have wooden spoons and bagasse and paper packaging for the most part so it’s pretty eco friendly as a to go snack. If they had heated the vegan meat more I probably would have given 5 stars despite the water issue .. too bad but I have to be honest. The portion of vegan meat also seemed a bit smaller this time

Do not be discouraged by any line as service is quick here. The police order from here, it’s that quick Highly recommend. The chicken Shawarma is the perfect blend of roast chicken, garlic mayonnaise, coleslaw, and some secret spices. The pita wrap is toasted just right! You can order two for a big guy or with the potatoes are excellent. Great location price service and taste.

The cashier who took my order was extremely rude and impolite. He got nervous because i changed my mind and decided to take a sandwich instead of a bowl. He had no patience at all. Plus the pita sandwich is ridiculously small and not even tasty. Not going back to this store, not worth it and really bad service and treatment of the customers.

Try falafel pita here, it never disappoints, nor in taste nor in size! also, the garlic potatoes are delicious. Great for late eaters who struggle to find a quick take away dinner on the go in Montreal, this is your place.

Nice food and service. Not a lot of seating space inside but that's also downtown. Parking spot on the street could be tricky depending on day and time of the week.

Great Shawarma spot in Montreal especially in those later hours when not much else is open. The place is usually busy which keeps the food fresh. Prices are fair and the food was delicious to say the least. I had a Shawarma mix plate and it could be in the top 5 I’ve ever had 👍🏼

Went there around 12am, the place was packed with ppl eating and waiting for food. They seemed very busy with their deliveries as well. However, service was very fast and I got my food within 15min! Very surprising when the place is packed, but wait time is short. Staffs seemed to know what they have to do. It was my first time trying falafel (probably not my favourite), I like shawarma plates (both chicken or beef) better.

The staff members are nice and easy going. The service is considerably not slow especially the restaurant is busy most of the time. I like the food and tried different pitas. All were good and I had no complaints.

First experience with Boustan… We ordered a Stan for 2 : chicken shawarma with cabbage salad, potatoes and rice. With hummus and garlic sauce. We ordered to go but everything was still hot when we started eating. Portions are good. Taste is good. We’d rather the potatoes be salty than have this sweet flavor though. Thank you guys

Best garlic sauce and potatoes in the city. Highly recommend upgrading to Saf bread if you get the shwarma wrap. Fast, affordable and tasty.

Nothing special here. Ordered a falafel bowl. Dry falafel, less hummus and very less taiziki or garlic sauce. Overall a sad experience.

Their chicken shawarma wrap was the highlight - make sure to grab one of those and customize it to your liking. The service was pretty fast, we only had to wait for about 8mins to get our food even though the restaurant was very busy!

The shawarma I got was honestly the best I’ve ever had. The servers were welcoming and I got served fast. I would definitely come back when I’m in the city.

Wow i loved this place. We got their special shawarma wrap which had added fries and eggplant and other veggies in the usual wrap. It was everything other shawarma wraps lack. It was moist and soft and way more flavorful than usual. The prices are also great and the service was speedy

If you're craving a late night shawarma dish this place hits the spot. I got myself a mixed plate and everything was what I expected. The meat was flavorful, crispy and tender, the salad and potatoes were spot on, and the dips work well with the dish. The portion size if just right for the price, if you're feeling really hungry order extra meat.

Found a lemon delivery guy on door dash ,but this restaurant went beyond to get my meal for me,the best attitude, respectful, tolerated my anger, good service, and brought my missing meal that lemon of door dash forgot, tried giving tip and refused . Impeccable customer service,Boustan.

Good value for money. Got the chicken and beef pitas with the garlic potatoes at the side. Taste is on point. Just a bit dry, they add a lot of hummus and very less garlic spread. But it’s a good grub!!

Go-to late night stop for a big appetite. Staff working front of house, as well as a few in the back completing mobile orders. Line up clears fast. Don't expect big smiles and 'friendly' customer service. It's all in the food and factory like speed. Huge portions. Bilingual menu and staff.

Lebanese restaurant offering a variety of quick and flavourful dishes. On the pricey side, however the plates are made fresh and quick.

I recently went to this place . The staff was so friendly and nice , and washroom was clean. I ordered Shawarma mixed, The size of the food was generous, the salad was fresh , the quality and taste was good. The only thing that I wasn't happy about it was too much salt in the food . I suggest to put less salt , and let the customers to add more if they want 🧂🧂. Thanks.😊

The shawarma plate was massive and for only $17 was very affordable. The plate includes rice, fried potatoes, hummus, salad, gyro beef and chicken. The plate was overall very tasty. The beef was the better of the two meats because the chicken was quite dry. The hummus and salad adds some moisture for the dry chicken

The best shawarma wrap that I've had in a long, long time and the garlic potatoes were incredible too. Definitely recommend!

  • 4/5 Jimmy J. 1 year ago on Google
It's changed ownership since I last went. But the meal was still tasty. Fresh hummus and garlic sauce. I got the mixed plate with chicken and beef. I liked it. Good portion size for sure. Not crazy about the potatoes. I would ask for rice instead of potatoes

Location in downtown Montreal is a positive, parking is an issue. Decorations and layout, as a fast food restaurant, I consider the place a busy and nice Cleanliness need extra work. Food is delicious 😋 😍 Service was friendly Price is affordable 👌 😀

I used to have one shishtaouk as a meal. Now the price are almost double and I need 2 shishtaouk, because they are really small. So if I calculate well its 4x time the price as before... Lol and quality maybe 20% less good as original boustan. Oh yeah on top of that they got my order wrong....You wanted to know why I put a 2 star review, hope u happy now.

The people who work here are always ready to help and serve. K appreciate their service so much. The food is also very delicious and fresh. I ordered the kafta pita sandwich with a side of garlic potatoes and water. It was a lot of food, I couldn't finish the potatoes and took them with my to my hostel and ate them the next day. All in all always a good time at Houston for my belly and my heart!

I've gone here a few times for a late night snack or for dinner, and I must say the food always delivers perfectly! It tastes good, it's full of nutrients and comes in good quantities. I must say the service is a bit agressive or unpleasant at some times, and it has happened that the quality of the product decreased by going too fast... I had a half folded pita bread shoved in the bag under the cover of my food container. Overall, it's still me go-to place for Lebanese food in downtown Montreal!

We ordered a beef pita, the chicken pita and the poutine. Our experience started with a little bit of a mishap with one of the sandwiches getting the wrong meat, but their great customer service more than made up for it. They made it right with us and the rest of our food was absolutely delicious. The poutine had tons of gravy (yum! ) and lots of cheese. My husbands pita was packed with flavor. We’ll definitely be back next time we visit Montreal. Highly recommend this location!

Ate here on Wednesday. This place gave me food poisoning. I saw them dumping fresh potatoes over the old ones, so they clearly don’t know safe food handling practice… FIFO was the first thing I learned when I worked a kitchen job in high school.

One of the best Arabic food I had in Canada, the owner is himself in the store. Ensure the quality and take care of everything.
