It has been a while since I have been here.The food was very good, I ordered the brisket poutine and it was yum. The service was great. They offer flights of beer and whiskey for the indecisive. They also have electronic dart games, a pooltable, and video gambling.

Always a fun time at the OTT! A wide variety of draft craft beers and liquors, the food is delicious and the employees are all fantastic. You can tell they invested a lot of time, money and effort to get this place in tip top shape. Tvs play all major sporting events and fight nights. Have slots up front. They also turned the back room into a chill hangout/gaming area with a pool table, dart boards and foosball. Overall experience has been great! Will be returning soon!

Good food and beer selection. The shrimp was deliciously seasoned. The bock reminded me of beers from EU which made me happy.

Place is cozy, whiskey and beer list well thought out which isn't suprising considering they are liquor store owners. Their spirit picks at the store are always excellent quality and high value. What wasn't thought out is the pricing of the whikseys. I don't want to tell an entrepreneur what to charge for their items, but these are outrageous, especially for 1oz pours. Beer list was normal pricing, but I was excited to have a few whiskeys. Stuck with one beer and left. Staff was nice an accommodating and place was clean. Unfortunately won't be back since there are plenty of options to get the same whiskey at a fraction of the price.

Such a divine little getaway tucked into this cozy corner. This place has some top tier service with an even friendlier atmosphere. There's always a handful of great beers on tap, and a wonderful selection of whiskeys as well. For the best service, ask for Carl and tell him I sent you.

Excellent beer land whiskey/bourbon lists. The food menu is small but seems well planned. Our tacos were excellent! Overall more of a bar vibe with a small, but delicious, menu

Such a great place. We overwhelmed them a little with a large party but they stayed on top of our food and drink. Food was absolutely wonderful. I would recommend it even with the smaller menu, worth it.

Spacious and friendly bar offering excellent whiskey, beers, cocktails, and food at great prices. The smash burger was delicious and the whiskey list is very diverse. They show UFC fights and are open late.

Great food, friendly staff, and they had live music when I dropped in! The brisket poutine was fantastic and service at the bar was very fast. They featured a local band named Big Boss and the Toes. Great place to spend a Friday night!

I must admit, I was skeptical about finding an exceptional tap house in Mundelein, Illinois - but this spot truly impressed me! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ From their impressive selection of 12 beers on tap, to a delicious and diverse food menu, it was an all-around great experience. And the service was top-notch too! 👌 Surprised and delighted, I'd definitely recommend a visit. 🍻

Cheesecurds and fries needed a little more time in the fryer. Smash burger was ok, Buffalo Chicken sandwich was a bit bland.

Always great service. Food is awesome and good drinks! Bingo night is fun and plenty of tv's for sporting events! Nice room in the back with darts, pool etc.

Our group was in town for a few days for a conference and we came here twice - it’s fantastic! Great tapas style food, the beer lovers in our group loved the flights, and Leah’s cocktail recipes are a work of art! The service is great too! Very attentive, laid back and friendly! Wish I lived closer, it would be a repeat favorite. Kudos to the staff!!!

Oak Trail Taphouse hits the spot every single time! Super friendly staff, tap beer selection is always on a solid rotation, and food quality is superior. You can tell the owner specifically makes certain decisions on the food as every dish I’ve tried has been outstanding! TVs are everywhere so you won’t miss any big game/fight moments. Had a great experience at Oak Trail Taphouse with my wife and son Saturday late afternoon. The place had a great vibe, excellent whiskey and beer selections, and our food was fantastic (cheese curds, brisket poutine, spicy chicken sandwich, and salted bourbon caramel cheesecake). We are new to the area, and had plenty of questions about the wide variety of options available . Atzi (bartender) was very patient and knowledgeable… answering all of our questions and helping make quality recommendations that were truly spot on and helpful. She was amazing and even managed to float around to surrounding tables to inquire about the needs of patrons there as well. Couldn’t recommend her highly enough, the customer service really made our experience noteworthy. Being newer to the area, we hadn’t found “our place” to frequent that we felt really confident in that is really good fit… now we have! Thanks again!
