Wow! Fresh and delicious burgers, not frozen. Made to order with the toppings of your choice. I loved the olive burger with Swiss cheese and Mikey Sauce. The fries are enough for a family, literally and very good. Great selection of beverages including Mexican coke and Jarritos. Staff is super friendly. Seating is limited.

Awesome burgers 🍔 and great fries 🍟!! I got a single burger, next time I'm definitely getting a double lol. You can tell their burgers are real and not frozen. The girl at the register was super helpful and they played great music too. Great place!

Man I gotta start off with how amazing this customer service is! Seriously have never been anywhere with this amazing of customer service! I could sit here and write chapters about how amazing this burger was but you should really just go out and try it for yourself! Will definitely be a regular returning customer!!

It's a good burger with an array of free toppings. The huge, and I mean huge, order of fries is easily enough for 3-4 people. No styrofoam packaging. The burger is wrapped in aluminum foil, and the fries come in a brown paper bag. The service is excellent, friendly and fast. Take out, dine in, or utilize the picnic tables outside. Chain franchise burgers aren't worth considering when quality only cost a tiny bit more. I gave them the fifth star for the plastic free packaging. Condiment cups are plastic, but I don't know of any practical alternative.

There is not much to this place other than good burgers with a side of fries…. And when I say a side of fries I mean a whole lotta fries. The fries are kinda a skinny fair style fries and you can pick a dipping sauce if you wanna be adventurous and dip in a sauce other than ketchup. They burgers are delicious. They have a few specialty burger but for the most part it’s a build your own. I’ve been back a couple times since writing this review… and honestly it sounds delicious RIGHT NOW. The building itself is small and in the summer they have outdoor seating. There are a few parking spots on the road but across the street is a common parking lot. It’s kinda in a random spot with a few small businesses and other restaurants but worth the trip

Gotta say, this place was impressive! When a friend and I looked up food in the area, I honestly had no hope. Especially late hrs.(this area can be a food desert). But when this place popped up, I had some doubts, But my my my , was I wrong to have doubts, everything that we got was amazing. We ordered a few different things to share among us and everything was truly delicious. Again considering the late hr, I was truly impressed and grateful. As I like to say, this food had love. And for that I would recommend it hands down! Wish you were on Door Dash.

PHENOMENAL...I kept hearing about this place and have been wanting to try it for 2 years. Surpassed my expectations. Very fast...very efficient. Well organized. Many unique burgers. Eric and I kept saying "Why can't we make them this GOOD at home???"

First time in and won’t be the last. Made to order burgers with very tasty beef. Also tried the What Funk Hot Dog, great tasting twist on a hot dog. The fries were plentiful a little salty for me but still good. Forgot to take pictures before we started eating.

Quite possibly the best bacon cheeseburger I’ve ever had. Very tasty! My daughter was craving a burger and found this place. Staff was super friendly and place had a cool atmosphere. The owner (son) was there and it seemed like all the employees were having a good time! If you’re passing through (like us) stop here. The prices were excellent too ! Oh, travelers tip, if 3 of you want fries, get ONE small/regular. More than enough for everyone!

The best burger I've ever had. I travel a lot and have had many burgers in my 42 years. This place is so good! Everything was so fresh. Prepared perfectly. The fries are fresh cut daily. The fry sauce is delicious. I had the burger of the month. Amazing!! I would give more than 5 stars if I could. Keep up the great work

This place was amazing. I was in town to shoot some video for a client and was looking for a quick filling meal before my drive home. Hamburger Mikey’s came through with the most flavor-packed, saucy, greasy, fresh, hot, energetic experience I’ve had at a burger place. It reminded me a little of blimpyburger in Ann Arbor. The front of the store is very unassuming but, upon walking in, the excitement begins building as you’re greater by a giant wall sculpture of French fries and what I assume to be a cartoon representation of mR.Mikey himself. The open grill concept, similar to what you’d see at a five guys was loud but you could definitely tell they were making fresh burgers and the employees were having fun doing it. For my meal I got a Mikey burger, which is just a build your own burger with cheese and grilled veggies. I also got a side of fries. Everything was grilled and fried to greasy perfection and the icing on this cake came in the form of Mikey’s signature sauces. Just writing this review is making me crave a trip back to this place, even though it’s 2 hours away from me.

This is really the best burger I've ever can remember having. I hope to get back there, and they had great 80s music when I was there. The fries are good, the place is clean, the staff is nice and helpful. And they have 2 dipping sauces for fries. The fries are quite large and easily sharable with another person. Parking was easy on a Saturday at noon. Parking lot is across the street also.

I have been everywhere and this was the best burger I have ever had. Better than 5 guys or In n out. Great shakes dries and chili fries. Mikeys sauce 👌 Very custom, they even offer green olives 👌

Tried this out after going to the gryphons nest next door. Man I'm glad we decided to stop in. Food was fantastic. Burgers built to your custom order with fresh ingredients. Great service too.

My wife told me we were eating healthy for December, naturally I had to try Hamburger Mikey while traveling. I went in expecting something similar to a chain restaurant a few guys opened, but I was wrong, instead my taste buds were blown away. The burger was perfect, thin, crispy, covered in the perfect amount of cheese, on a fluffy buttered bun. The fries were delicious and when all this was combined with the wild Mikey sauce, it was phenomenal. If you're in the area, you have to try Hamburger Mikey, if you're not in the area, you need to make a trip just for it, you won't be disappointed.

Great fresh burgers off the grittle, great fries, great vibes! Go there, you wont be disappointed. I got a mushroom swiss with their truffle sauce. Bun was a small bit perfectly lil crunch to add some grilled taste. Yep, will be back

I didn’t get pics because I ate the fries on my walk back to my hotel. I couldn’t wait. Those fries are pretty darn close to perfection. Thin, hot, crisp, mmmmm. I can see why they get raves. I will now crave these fries and have to return for them. I also got a traditional chocolate shake. Theirs are from an old-school shake machine and it hit the spot. Finally, I got the big burger with Swiss cheese, grilled onions and mushrooms, and garlic aioli. Yum. Sauce was great. Biggest drawback was the bun was too weak for all that burger. I think I’d go with the smaller version next time. Service was friendly and quick and I enjoyed the vibe. I’ll definitely stop back in if I’m in the area.

Would be saying too much to call this the greatest place in Muskegon to get a over the top tasty burgers and fries, but it lives up to it. A lot of sauces to put on your burger or dip your fries in, and the endless customizations you can do to your burger. Owner is always present and very friendly, the only mistake I did is not taking his recommendation when putting a certain sauce on my burger, but I did get the sauce on the side and dip my burger in it. The taste of the combination of flavors was just too much to not stop wolfing in my burger down. I don't come here very often but when I do I'm always enjoyed by the taste of the food I get. All I know is whatever this restaurants doing don't change a thing because this is what makes this restaurant very special with awesome food. Most definitely will be returning again! 😋😍

The burgers are excellent, the best in the West Michigan! I met people all nationwide who visit Muskegon in their trips just because hamburger Mikey! It’s a place to go with friends and family! I hope the best for this place and they continue to grow!

This was my first time there. The guy at the counter was very rude. I didn’t care for my burger. The fries were really good though. There is a door we sat next to, it said employees only… the door from top to bottom was filthy. So I wonder how clean the hands are of the employees. You need a full menu on the wall so we don’t have to deal with your rude worker.

This definitely isn't the kind of place you want to sit down if you don't like intensely chaotic atmospheres, this place is ALWAYS busy. The food is pretty par, very similar to Five Guys. I think for an older generation it feels nostalgic, but for me I didn't see the appeal. I enjoyed it, but probably not a place I'll go to often.
