Deputy Commissioners Office or DC office (জেলা প্রশাসক এর কার্যালয় / ডিসি অফিস) is one of the main administrative centre of Narsingdi (নরসিংদী). Its located near the collectorate complex, near Judge Court Road (জজ কোর্ট রোড) and in front of Judge Court ( জজ কোর্ট) of Narsingdi . its a long two stored building having a large compound. The color of this building is red. Mainly most of the govt. works are done here and many people have to come here for different purpose. Its main administrative person is Deputy Commissioner ( জেলা প্রশাসক).

► Background of Narsingdi district ◄ ► King Narsingh established a small town on the west bank of the Brahmaputra river in the early fifteenth century. The name Narsingdi was later added to the name Narsingh. During the zamindari period Narsingdi area was included in Maheshwardi Pargana. After the abolition of zamindari system, Narsingdi became a police station in Narayanganj subdivision of Dhaka district. In 1978, Narsingdi was promoted to a subdivision under Dhaka district. Narsingdi emerged as a district in 1984 in the wake of the government announcement.
