The hotel is conveniently located to shopping, sights, the river and the business district. While not large, rooms are fair-sized and well designed. Check in was easy and available early - a rarity at German hotels. Breakfast was good. Decor and service are solid. Great option for rental Frankfurt and all sorts of travelers.

Great stay for our start of the Christmas markets tour! Great location! Clean, well condition. Very nice shower. Room was small but thats alright. Breakfast buffet was wonderful! Beds a bit flat. Staff accommodating to keep luggage prior to check in.

Excellent location within convenient walking distance to the city center, hop on tourist buses and Christmas market. Breakfast buffet is great but they have no kitchen so only cold dishes are available aside from some boiled eggs.

It was going all great, Fantastic location, great breakfast and comfy room, until the checkout process was very unpleasant … We paid for 3 extra hours until 3 pm, and just after noon, one of the staff came to our room and start yelling at us, telling that we need to vacate the room, and even after explaining that person kept arguing and demanding us to leave. Extremely annoying, hope you can fire that person as she simply destroyed the hotel Image and hope no other guest go through this

Perfect location. The city centre and business area are a walking distance. The hotel definitely has charm and it is clearly a designer and modern one. Yet the price is quite good. The rooms are a little small but cozy. I would say the breakfast was very good. And the gin bar at the lobby is great. Overall, I would gladly recommend it.

I stayed for 1 night (Friday to Saturday). The room was nice, bed comfortable and breakfast ok. The staff was friendly. However, I could here the heavy bass from a near club/bar until 3 am although I was on the 4th floor. Maybe it was bad luck but I think it’s worth mentioning.

I’m on the fence with 3 or 4 stars - but overall the experience was very good so it’s 4. The main thing that’s let it down is the awful breakfast. A significant charge for a few slices of ham and one type of cheese isn’t acceptable. There also isn’t a gym, pool or health facility. Otherwise, this hotel is cool, has great customer service, a well-stocked gin bar and is close to lots of key attractions and the Xmas markets.

Very beautiful style, cozy atmosphere, a bit small rooms, friendly service. The breakfast does not include many gluten free options. Not enough space to eat, usually you either wait for a table to get empty or share with strangers.

Beautiful, modern, artistic hotel, in the center of Frankfurt. Very clean and sufficient. Rooms are clean although a bit small, but this is expected in Frankfurt. Only downside is that there are no coffee facilities or mini fridge in there rooms. Besides that the breakfast is excellent with many healthy options, always fresh. You can order food from anywhere you like and enjoy it in the bar/lounge area the hotel offers this as they do not offer food them selves besides a few snacks. Would definitely recommend it. I have stayed twice and both experiences were the same level and quality!

Good location for a short trip up Frankfurt. I requested a quiet room and it truly was quiet. The staff are friendly, the bed is comfortable. I didn’t love the carpet throughout the hotel, especially as it’s not an old hotel, it seems an odd choice. The room is tiny and hard for two people to move around (we didn’t have luggage, but this would be harder still if we did). Housekeeping entered the room early on a Sunday morning, waking me up.

Great location, good prices and excellent service. I liked the breakfast (very high quality with organic products) and the cleanliness of the rooms. A little small but it is expected that in the middle of the city space comes with a high premium. I especially liked the lounge bar where I met with friends and chilled before sleeping. All in all (almost) 5 stars.

This hotel is a great choice when visiting Frankfurt. Our room was on the 6th floor & was very quiet. The room size was fine, not large but not too small. We wish there was two chairs not just one. The room was clean. The bathroom was small but adequate. We had some trouble with the toilet running after flushing sometimes. The people working in the hotel were very welcoming & helpful. The location was great for walking around & sightseeing.

Budget hotel with a premium feel to it; very comfortable rooms that are cozy and serviceable. Bathroom is spacious and shower is hot and has great water pressure. If you want a comfortable hotel room to come back to after a long day of sightseeing, this does it perfectly with no frills.

A great place to stay even if for one night. The staff is amazing and very helpful. The rooms are super clean and comfortable. I managed to sleep a lot and rest very well. Also, the bar in the evening is absolutely amazing. A great place for networking too.

Ideally placed to visit the Christmas markets. You can't really be much closer without being in the pedestrian area. Lobby area and bar one are chic and a great place for a drink (especially gin which they seem to have hundreds of). The room is compact but comfortable with an excellent shower.

The hotel is okay. The main problem in my room was the WiFi. I was in the 5th floor far from the elevator. I assume that in some other rooms there was no problem. My advice, check the WiFi immediately when entering the room and if the WiFi is not working properly, ask to change a room

Location of the hotel and comfort of the rooms (and cleanliness) are really good for visitors. I would like to thank Alexander from the front desk so much. He was super good in his job and helped us in everything we want. The hotel is also nice with securing our luggage after check-out till our flight time. Thanks for the great experience.

Clean rooms, a little smaller than some of the other Motel One hotels we stayed in around Germany like Stuttgart. The view was ok considering the location. It was a good walking distance to restaurants and bars.

A business like hotel with minimal services. Rooms have good beds but no proper desk, only lounge chair and coffee table. Tv did not work upon arrival and no phone to call front desk. I used my voip to call the hotel using the free wifi, but you are put on hold without getting a person on the line. I mentioned the issue the next morning and it got fixed. Cleaning of rooms is done properly. Bathroom is tiny but functional with a shower, sink and toilet. Breakfast buffet is fine but limited. Breakfast room can be crowded as the hotel has almost 500 rooms, over 7 floors, some looking inwards, some with a view of financial district.

Modern and clean! Quiet and safe neighbourhood, with some traffic noise (I recommend getting a room higher up and towards the patio Chose to have breakfast outside the hotel as we could get a good breakfast in a bakery 6 minutes walking distance for half the price (at the hotel it would cost 31€ for 2 persons) The cleaning service came into the room after a brief knock at 9 am. This felt unnecessary and inconvenient on check-out day.

The location of the hotel was perfect! Walking distance to everything you could want to do in Frankfurt. Alexander, at the front desk, was especially helpful with offering recommendations and making sure we were comfortable and taken care of. The rooms are a little small and the A/C didn't seem strong enough to overcome the hotter evenings but otherwise was very clean and comfortable.

We have asked two separate beds in the room but no separate beds available in the hotel. No table, no hot water kettle, not even a glass or water in the room. For a 60 euro hotel that's fine. But for around 150/night it is not enough. The reception was not checking the IDs, which is perhaps mandatory for them. Only good thing in the hotel is the breakfast.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Motel One Frankfurt Römer... Only thing that would take it over the top would be a small fridge in the room, not a deal breaker as everything was just wonderful! We will look at Motel One stays on our next trip due to how much we liked our stay! Centrally located and easy access to Frankfurt activities. Clean rooms and quiet as well. Very good value overall, would recommend!

The hotel is great. What was less than ideal is the fire alarm that went off around midnight. I can't blame the hotel for it, but it was handled decently. Staff is super friendly and helpful, in German and English. Would stay here again.

Breakfast nice but limited choice (no Baron, no scrambled eggs). Very friendly service. Modern rooms with limited space, but perfect for business trips or short stay.

I stayed at this hotel for a one day layover in Frankfurt. The location is perfect. 20-30 min taxi ride from the airport. Near the market and Römerberg. I happened to be there during the time of the Xmas market and it was less than 10 minutes walk. Good restaurants nearby. I recommend the Moroccan place. The room was small but so efficiently designed. Minimal amenities in the rooms, but that wasn’t a problem for me. The location was clean and downstairs is a bar that was very popular at night.

Enjoyed my stay at the Motel One hotel with a solid 5/5 rating. The location is fantastic, though rooms are on the smaller side – not perfect, but perfectly okay for a comfortable stay.

  • 5/5 Hatim K. 2 years ago on Google
Very good location, only a couple of minutes walk to Wily Brandt underground station, and right in front of the hotel there is a tram station, taking you to Central train station or inner city. Also within a 5 minute walk to the old city. The hotel and the room were both spotless clean.

The Hotel is very subtle and not too loud and the room was Spartan but very comfortable. The little touches like leaving the TV on screensaver mode with ocean fishes in the background and the amazing checkout process of just dropping the card into a box was very nice and easy. Overall, I find this an amazing place to come back to and the only reason why I didn’t give a full 5 Star rating was that the breakfast buffet was really just cold meats and cold breakfast - not something I would have really liked on a cold wet day in August !

This is my first time staying in a Motel One. It’s been by far a fantastic experience. The motel room is clean, it’s got a great view, and was ready upon arrival. The motels design is about books so the art through the main lobby is amazing and worth taking a look around to get the full experience. The bar is clean and very well designed and is worth looking at and getting a few drinks. The atmosphere of the entire motel is a 5/5 for me. Highly recommended.

Great location with cosy beds and nice clean bathrooms. However, there is NO mini fridge, kettle or coffee service available at rooms. The bar staff were unprofessional and a bit rude, hence it's better not to try the motel's bar. Breakfast was very average as well.

New clean hotel with modern ambiance . Decor was chic and vibrant. Staff was excellent Room had everything I needed Loved the TV with the fireplace screen saver Location was exceptional within 4 mins to train station, shopping and old town. Walking distance to zoo as well.

Our children found this place for us to stay New Year's Eve. This hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Frankfurt and allows you access to restaurants and shops and a walk along the Main River. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Frankfurt.

Motel one is a hotel chain large in Germany and central Europe. The hotels are all similar. Small but cozy rooms. Large TV display. No desk, or small one. Open storage space. They have nice bars, continental breakfasts. I believe that no restaurant. Fair price, and usually good location.

Just returned from a weekend stay at Motel One, Frankfurt. It totally exceeded my expectations. With such a reasonable price I never expected it to be as high end as it was. Beautiful interior design and friendly staff but the location is its biggest asset. So well placed for seeing everything Frankfurt has to offer. I will definitely return here if I'm back in Frankfurt. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We ended up in Frankfurt by accident and needed a last minute place to stay. We picked Motel One because it was cheapest. It turned out to be FANTASTIC! Everybody was so nice, the hotel is beautiful, the room was lovely and clean. A great deal.

My colleague and I had a terrible experience in the hotel bar. My colleague who was one month sober ordered a non-alcoholic cocktail but received one with alcohol. She paid for the drink, then noticed that there was alcohol in it and told the waitress, but the waitress was rude and refused to accept the mistake. After arguing with us the waitress simply left and did not even offer to redo the drink. In general, this hotel tries to look modern and chic but is missing most things that make a hotel comfotable. No kettle or iron, no mini fridge, no water in the rooms, no glass to drink tap water out of or put a toothbrush in (especially disappointing when it is 40 degrees outside), one pillow that is extremely lumpy and the other that is paper thin, poor breakfast, the list goes on.

I liked the Room and specially the temperature. It was hot outside and felt good to have a nice AC. The rooms are very clean and cosy. close to the train station and the center.

Great bed in small efficient room. Very good breakfast. Location close to Oper Frankfurt, museums, points of interest.

Overall, it’s good value for the price especially booking last minute. The hotel is very renovated, but could have been better designed and up-kept. Big hotel vibe but rooms are small, lobby is nice, hotel bar looked nice too. Service could be improved

  • 5/5 Lance C. 1 year ago on Google
Overall, very good stay. Tram stop was right outside the hotel. Cleanliness top notch. Housekeeping has to be applauded. FO was very friendly. Minor points to improve: The bottle of shampoo provided was good but difficult to extract from the bottle and paper cups could be placed on the small table in the room rather than toilet for sanitary reasons. Bed could be slightly firmer.

  • 4/5 Laurel B. 1 year ago on Google
Very small room for two people. Nowhere to unpack but very clean and convenient to city center and transportation. Bar looked nice but crowded at night and breakfast so we did not eat nor drink on-site.

  • 5/5 James H. 1 year ago on Google
Amazing quality hotel for its prices. But no fridges nor phones in rooms. Super cool lobby bar area and convenient.

  • 5/5 chou t. 1 year ago on Google
Locations is perfect, the room is rather nice, clean no issues, beds are clean comfy. First floor with 2 entrance on 2 sides of the building is nice. Very spacious parking. Nice staffs with smiles even it was very busy.
