The best place to live, if you want to enjoy wildlife. You will find different kinds of mosquitoes, spiders, and rare species. The picture I took from the washroom is the best place to explore because you can actually feel them closer. Last year we went camping and it was so boring here it was full of joy and suspense full cause you don't know what you gonna find here "expected the unexpected". Today, I come to know how much my company likes me. I came last night and the girl was at reception with colorful hairs was very nice, she was staring at me, then I greet her, I like the way she ignored me, she realized me that I am the person intrupting her for being doing nothing. I was confused that did I book the right hotel and still am I. I don't want any refund cause I actually enjoyed it here, like everybody pay for get the best services. I paid for something different. As I said before, "expected, the unexpected" I posted a few pictures, so this time, the owner can't say it's not our hotel pictures. I posted this. I am extremely disappointed with your staff and services; you need to make improvements.

Stayed here with my partner just last month and found the room to be dirty, with stains on the blanket, hot tub, and bed. Felt disgusting and asked for a refund, but the staff was adamant in not providing any help other than switching rooms, which we did try. Although the second room was slightly bigger, there were still stains in the hot tub and it felt disgusting that the bed blanket was stained and seemed to smell slightly off. The shower was not clean and had someone elseā€™s red hair on the wall. We booked this hotel as a non refundable rate and clearly the hotel has no intention of delivering excellent quality or service for anyone that books a room at their hotel. Apparently a discounted hotel rate meant the room we would stay in wouldnā€™t be clean???? It felt disgusting. We tried to get a refund for over an hour the moment we arrived and after shifting rooms and was ready to just head to a different hotel. Considering the safety concerns during COVID, and the lack of quality to ensure these rooms were both cleaned, I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. The only highlight was the IHOP attached to it. I wish this review would allow me to post pictures so people could see the dirtiness.

This place has some hidden fees for parking and other fees. That being said, their fees were more reasonable than most hotels. The price was right. They have an IHOP, and you get a $15 off coupon every morning. The beds and rooms are comfortable. They have a lot of handicap accessible rooms, with wheelchair accessible bathrooms and showers. While they aren't right on the Niagara Falls River, you can save some money and be only a 5-minute drive from all the fun activities of Niagara Falls. They also have a small convenience store, and wine baskets that you can purchase with your room.

Room smelled musty and stale. Bathroom mirror was dirty, tub was dirty. There was dried vomit on the curtains. Floors severely stained. Coffee pod left in coffee pot from previous guests. Only decaf coffee available. Had to pay an additional fee for parking that was not advertised. Pool was closed for renovations. Beds were uncomfortable. No housekeeping during our stay. Location is a drive to anything.

Awful place. Staff is extremely unhelpful and rude. "Daily" room service is not daily. Pool has been closed for weeks due to "renovations", yet it is still advertised as open. The first day we visited (the only day out of four that our room was cleaned when we got back), my AirPods went missing from the nightstand while we were visiting the falls and I haven't seen them since. Lobby is very outdated and nasty. Manager is extremely rude and not kind toward customers with issues. Do not spend money at this place. A motel is an obvious better option.

Our stay was okay. My bathroom was extremely old, the toilet paper holder was rusted and the Mirror was peeling, otherwise the room was spacious and clean. The pool and gym were closed for renovations when we got there, but not stated on the website at the time of booking. The breakfast was okay, with limited selection, but everything was clean and freshly prepared. The staff was attentive. Love the free parking..

One star is too high a praise. Unfortunately, we cannot select a negative number. We made the reservations after looking at the beautiful pool on the website and seeing that there was a restaurant on site. Imagine our surprise when we got here and were told the pool has been closed for months and the restaurant is now under renovations. We booked through expedia. The price quoted stated everything is included. Again, we were surprised when we were told we needed to pay an additional $14 per night for parking. When these concerns were brought up to the front desk, they informed us they could do nothing to help us. We asked if we could cancel the reservation, seeing as how we did not get what was advertised. They told us no, they could not cancel the reservation as they had no control over it. So we were stuck. Next day of a 2 day stay, we arrive back in the room around 9pm to discover that our rooms have not been serviced. beds were not made, garbage overflowing, dirty towels still in the bathtub. We were told that due to covid, they would only clean the room if they were asked to........ Seriously!!!!! Isn't cleaning suppose to prevent the spread of covid. Clearly they are just too lazy to do their job. To top off the bad customer service, the walls are paper thin and we can hear everything the couple next door was doing....and they were doing it a lot. Shame on you Wyndham for having such a poorly run hotel. Clearly you are not checking to see how things are actually being done.

At check-in everything was perfect I even paid the extra 30$ for late check-out, IHOP voucher of 20$ and a bottle of wine , I had called a few days in advance to make sure pool and hot tub was in working order that was the whole reason we were coming, we got to our room and everything was fine I wasn't expecting anything luxurious as I had paid so lil it was more to get away during March break enjoy the pool and hot tub and go down to Clifton Hill , we changed right away and head to the pool area , the pool was frigid and greenish there was no way my children were to get into it and no hot tub insight šŸ˜” I called front desk and said nothing could be done for the pool and she said the employee must of made a mistake about the hot tub , really ?? How ?? , They did refunded my 30$ but said there's nothing they can do about the pool ,that their pool is in working order , it was barely 72, which isn't the norm for a hotel I will not be coming back šŸ˜”

Noticed a severe cracked in window. Called front to make sure they new. Told me don't worry you won't be charged for it, as if I did it. Charge $3,50 in the room for bottled water which is ridiculous. Shower handle was broken. Didn't inform me there was $20 parking fee when I booked. Rude nighttime front desk. Was heating up my back pad in the microwave in lobby. Had the nerve to let me not take so long as others might need it. Yet no was even around. For the Ramada name is was the worst experience I have ever had in a hotel and I travel a lot.

This hotel is trying to scam people!! We have a booking for Feb 19 that we book a month ago. I then get a email 2 days before stating that they are canceling our reservation due to an "emergency situation " they then tell me to cancel the reservation and the fees would be wavied. I then went online to see if there were any notices about the hotel being shut down as of the 19 of Feb for renovation and they only thing on there is that the pool, restaurant and arcade are currently closed. I could still book the same dates, so I then called the hotel directly and asked to book the exact dates and they were going to book it and said that yes they are open and have availability but now the rate is double!!!!!! How is it that a hotel can tell you that your reservation is cancelled by them but in the same sentence they tell you to go online to cancel it and that the fees will be wavied. When I called I asked to speak to management and was transferred to a colleague by the name of Robin , she was very rude on the call and said that there is no way that I could have just tried to book it cause they will be closed. all a scam especially during a holiday weekend. What hotel is going to shut down during that time and lose all that money. We were not even offered to change our dates or go to a sister hotel. poor customer service! We will Never stay at a Wyndham hotel again!

We booked this hotel so we could use the pool. It was out of order. Our room had a very musty smell. And there was mold in the bath tub . Also had a $14parking fee on our bill after paying $300 for a nights stay that was not posted on the website when booking online. However the beds were comfy.

The room was good but the toilet had stains that weren't cleaned well. The service was horrible and my night was ruined. I booked a hotel room for friend for one night, away from the kids after many months. The day staff was great, however the night shift clerk threatened to call the police on us because we were being loud. I understand giving us a fair warning but when I asked her what the problem was she refused to talk to me and I still have no understanding of why. Also they asked us to leave due to poor communication and when I came into the lobby to let them know we were leaving, the lady went into my room and detained my purse and belongings as if to threaten me to leave silently. This only got me more furious. And that's when I actually yelled at her. I called the police myself because legally without any cause at all she had no right to detain my identification without clause. There was an older gentlemen there who helped resolve the over all issue. However the night shift clerk had zero customer service or problem solving skills. I will never go back.

A strong stale smell as soon as you walked in. It was Dirty. Our daughter left a valuable belonging that holds sentimental value in a drawer which was our fault for not checking before leaving, we were in a rush. Called back to check if housekeeping had returned it because that what usually happens. However, they told us that nothing was returned. So either housekeeping found it and kept it or they weren't thorough enough in their cleaning process to find it. Either or, not a great look for the hotel. Would not recommend this place.

Do not recommend. First of all, we had to pay 15$ to park overnight in their own parking lot, which was not advertised when we booked on Priceline. Second, we paid more to have a room with a whirlpool, which didnā€™t even looked clean..we didnā€™t dare to use it. The towel was stained. The couch was dirty with white and brown stain. The temp was set to coolā€¦we were freezing. They donā€™t even have mattress cover, just a loose sheet that moves from underneath you when sleeping. The shower was a single corner one, no bathtub or 2 persons shower. The pool and arcades (which was one reason we chose this hotel) was closed, but nowhere was it mentioned before booking the room. Everything was out of orderā€¦Overall, very very disappointed.

I would not give a star for this hotel. There was bed frame metal rod that was coming out from bed which was covered by bed sheet. At mid night my leg strike the big bed rod that was not visible and it was very painful. I informed manager in the morning and they were like the frame might have came out when i moved while sleeping. He was very rude as well. Hotel was dirty. Worst customer service. I do Not recommend this hotel at all.

Hotel is well located and well priced. Rooms were a bit older, but comfortable and clean. Disappointed bag storage wasn't available and only option was to pay extra for early check in to leave bags. Walls are quite thin and we happened to have very noisy neighbours the second night so didn't sleep very well. Due to covid, they don't currently have housekeeping during stays which was largely fine, however they only provided one coffee pod and did not have extras available at the front desk. There was free coffee on the main level in the mornings. Overall reasonable value for the price and location.

We spent 2 days in the room with family, very conveniently located close to white water walk and bus station. Parking is free and the breakfast is free as well. The rooms are fairly well maintained and the staff is very friendly. It is unfortunate the gym was closed but communication on website was very clear about the closure. Overall great experience for the price will higly recommend

I booked room for 5 people and I was charged for 5 people as every single person adding will cost more. The female clerk who admitted us said free breakfast is for only 4 people and it's a policy of the hotel. I don't see any single point for this 4 people limitation, neither on my reservation. Bathroom was clean but stinking. In the night one of frontdesk male person was trying to enter our room multiple times and when I yell at him from inside then he said sorry and left. I called front desk and asked for this and a female said no one is entering my unit. I told her some one tried and gave his information and ask her to call me back after confirming, but never got a call. Bathroom shower knob came into my hand when I tried to use, so I left it there without using it. Tried to use heater, and it burned lot of dust on it and smelled the whole room so I had to turn it off. Coffee maker was not ever used since it was invented and had accumulated a lot of dust inside. So no to dust coffee.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Ramada Inn by the River in Niagara Falls, and I must say it was a delightful experience from start to finish. First and foremost, the hotel lived up to its reputation for being nice, clean, and exceptionally quiet. In contrast to many other hotels in Niagara Falls that often attract a rowdy crowd of partygoers, this place was an oasis of tranquility. I was pleasantly surprised by the peaceful atmosphere, which allowed for a restful night's sleep without any disruptions. One aspect that truly stood out during my stay was the breakfast provided in the morning. "Supreme" would be an understatement to describe the quality of the breakfast. The variety and freshness of the options available were impressive. It was a perfect way to start the day, and it left me feeling energized and satisfied. The location of the hotel by the river added an extra layer of charm to the experience. It offered a serene backdrop away from the hustle and bustle of the more touristy areas closer to the falls. In summary, the Ramada Inn by the River in Niagara Falls offers a unique and highly enjoyable stay. If you're seeking a peaceful retreat that stands apart from the typical noisy hotel scene in this area, this is the place to go. The combination of a serene environment, cleanliness, and a superb breakfast made my stay truly memorable. I wouldn't hesitate to return on my next visit to Niagara Falls.

This hotel was excellent, clean comfortable beds. The staff was excellent. At the time of my stay the pool was not open which was a disappointment I love to swim...so call first if you are hoping to swim. I love that this hotel is along the gorge away from the busyness making it a little more peaceful!! Great Stay

The service is impeccable. The staff were willing to offer support however they could. Realistically, this isn't a 5-star hotel. You get what you pay for in terms of the rooms, so if you're looking for an affordable hotel that is still comfortable, then this is a great option. Also, they offer all you can eat breakfast in the morning. I recommend going!

Booking this hotel was a huge mistake! It was rundown. Checked into the room and I ended up booking an accessible room, not a huge deal. Got into room and was greeted with overwhelming smell of stale musty air. The bathroom was very dirty, mold growing and smelled. The floor and corners of shower had black mold. The accessible chair was dirty had mold in the rubber feet. The room didn't appear to meet accessible requirements sink and all door knows we're high. We had to buy flip-flops to wear in shower ! The towels were thread bare and one had rips in it.

For me this stay was made wonderful by Ushma and shivam, wonderful people working at the front desk. Though the hotel itself is not the best, but then the price is awesome. Room smells a bit damp, and sound in the room on fifth floor which is also the top floor, probably because of the heating system on the rooftop. No microwave and kettle in the room which is a basic but everything else was nice. Big thanks to ushma for all the help, she fixed the coffee machine immediately and informed us in the room. Two stars for hotel and five stars for customer service( ushma).

Let me first say that for $50 a night you can't have high expectations as you really get what you pay for. The rooms are out dated and in desperate need of a renovation as the wallpaper is peeling and bathrooms are stained. Pros: comfortable bed, friendly staff Cons: room wasn't cleaned properly when we first got there. We found hair on our bed under the comforters, no plugs/outlets by nightstand to charge phones

  • 1/5 Valeri J. 2 years ago on Google
Where to start... stayed for 3 nights, check in was fine and lobby looks good. Then the elevators were slow and rough to ride. Carpet was nasty and rolling up in the halls. Room was horrible. 4 people get 3 towels and trying to get more was a joke. The ceiling at the window had mould and was falling down (even had some pieces fall after it rained). Pillows were lumpy, bath mat was disgusting. Cleaners walking the halls with masks around their chin. Pool was gross and the bottom was gritty. The arcade, most of the games didn't work (sad because my kids thought it would be fun). Had a problem with a drunk anti masker and at first the front desk acted like it was funny (then spoke to someone who took it seriously) 20 dollars a night for parking then was charged tax on a 300 dollar deposit. I'm sure there is more but this should be enough. Spend the little extra and stay somewhere else. Rated zero!

Wow, these rooms have been recently remodeled and our room is gorgeous. We also had to deal with covid testing issues from our border crossing and the staff have been incredibly helpful with printing information and need for Purolator pick-up. Great experience. Location wise, this hotel is right on the river and has a great view. We booked on price line and got a great price as well. Been traveling for 4 days and this is by far the best hotel we have stayed in so far.

So, I travel quite a bit and like to stay at hotels. When my plan is to spend a lot of my time at the hotel, I book four-star and above. When I know I will be at the hotel just to sleep, I book at a three-star hotel, so Iā€™ve been to quite a few three-star hotels. Unfortunately, this is one of the worst ā€œhotelā€ I have ever been to. This place made me wonder what makes a hotel a hotel, which should be differentiated from an inn or a motel. To start, the place, especially the parking lot, was sketchy. Speaking of the parking, it is $14 for the night, which is understandable. However, the staff were not welcoming, and the room was incredibly dirty. There was hair everywhere, including but not limited to the walls, washroom walls, in the shower, on the hairdryer, on the closet door, and even on the towels. The tub was not working. One of the pillow did not even have a case on. Last but not least, the bed was not a king-sized bed, which was what I booked. Why didnā€™t I complain beforehand? It was a little too late, if you know what I mean. I know that I get what I paid for, but this was not what I paid for. It was the worst experience Iā€™ve ever had at a hotel. I would recommend staying AWAY. There are just too many accommodations in the region to waste your time and money at this place.

This is by far one of the most outdated hotels I have ever stayed at in the country, let alone Niagara Falls. The plus? It was fairly quiet and definitely quieter than other Niagara Falls hotels because of the distance from the main centre I am assuming. Initial take, the musty smell is STRONG when you enter. Smells like your distant great auntā€™s basement in 1984. As you proceed, the 1984 theme doesnā€™t give up. The beds were decent enough, with an odd bounce in the middle. Basic basic room with no microwave or fridge. The bathroom was by far the one room that left the most to be desired. Outdated, dingy, dirty, are the main elements here. I felt dirty having a shower! Random ticking sounds through the room, the bathroom light/fan and toilet all sounded like a jet taking off. Someone woke me up in the morning repeatedly trying to get into the room. Good thing we double locked it! Another plus, it was by far the cheapest rate for the weekend! Not on my list to return!

My husband and I frequently go to Niagara falls, lately we have been booking through priceline (great deals) and we wanted a King bed with a jetted hot tub in the room, half the reason we go to the falls is for these jetted hot tubs. The day after we booked, I called the Ramada to confirm my reservation and confirm it was a room with a hot tub. They assured me it was. When we arrived at the hotel we arrived about an hour after checkin. When we got there they told us they needed to check on our room to make sure it was readyā€¦ I said to my husband ā€œthatā€™s weird weā€™re already late to check in why wouldnā€™t it be ready?ā€ - after waiting a bit the employee comes to us and asks if we would take another room.. offered two queen beds with sofa bed. We said NO WAY, and explained we are only here for the hot tub.. thats why we booked that room. The employee said he would see what he could doā€¦ SEE WHAT HE COULD DO??? after waiting.. a while.. he came back and said our room was getting ready now would take 20 minā€¦ and for the inconvenience he wouldnā€™t charge us the $14 (plus tax) parking fee. That was great, we accepted that, and the room was what we ordered. Well 4 days later I have a charge of $23 on my credit card.. Thatā€™s still pending investigation as to why I was charged $23 - even if they ended up charging me for parking should not be $23? I will never stay here again, and thatā€™s too bad, as mentioned we come to Niagara Falls AT LEAST once a month, honestly itā€™s been a lot more this summer and we never have experienced anything like this before.

This place was disgusting. Dried up puke chunks around the toilet. A weird stain on the hair dryer bag. Terrible service. And no access to rent movies. Photographs well but dont be fooled. This was not a good experience. Also room was not ready at 4 we had to wait till 5 there was someone still "cleaning" it.

Pros: 1. Staff were pleasant and nice! Cons: 1. There were flies inside our room when we first walked in. But staff took care of it. 2. Noticed some spiders in the washroom. I had to trap it inside a cup. 3. AC design and selection is poor. I understand that AC turns off after set point has been reached, but this AC just keeps turning on and off all throughout the night and it was difficult to sleep since you have a moment of total silence then the AC turns on again, and after a while it turns off. Couldn't get a good night sleep because of that.

Nice location, close to attractions but far enough to avoid the crowd, traffic was fairly light on the street and the hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful. Not the fanciest place but a good value. Being next to a Buddhist temple means it was quiet .

Stayed for one night in a room with 2 queen beds, and that was more than enough time. This is not a hotel. This should be classified as a motel. Check in was easy, staff relatively nice. Its in a quiet location but not beside the casino as advertised. Its a good 30 minute walk to get to Clifton Hill area. My biggest issue with this place is the cleanliness of the rooms. There was dust everywhere, as if it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. The bathroom was less than desirable. The bathtub was stained and scratched up and had "stay away" vibes all over it. The wallpaper in the room is bubbling and starting to peel off. The desk chair looked like it was retired from an old office because the "leather" on the seat was completely peeled off. The pillows on bed #1 were fine, queen sized pillows. The pillows on bed #2 were as if they came from a child's bed. They were small and barely had any life left in them. Pool closed. Fitness centre closed. Arcade broken. All in all, 0 stars and a letter to head office about the cleanliness of their facility during a pandemic. Steer clear of this place.

  • 2/5 Rachel H. 2 years ago on Google
The hotel was grungy. Towels had holes in them, tub was Grey at the bottom, smears drips and grime in the bathroom. TV volume randomly turned off or up and down, temp control in the room was only for placebo effect. Breakfast service in the IHOP down stairs was so bad that it took 2 hours to eat a quick breakfast, 1.5 hours was waiting. Upside, the Bricklayer wine they had at the front desk was tasty and front desk staff were nice.

There was a very large group here for a cheer competition and we were all very disappointed and even disgusted with this hotel. A few of the rooms were still dirty, had liquor containers in the room, blood on sheets, awful smellā€¦ The shower didnā€™t work in a few rooms. The pool was closed, the arcade room was not available, there are no microwaves in the rooms. Even the bathrooms in the main lobby were closed. For $500 for the weekend, this was absolutely ridiculous and we will never return!

  • 1/5 Darcy H. 2 years ago on Google
Their was no fridge available, the ice machines were broke. When asked for an extra pillow as we had 2 lumpy Flat ones on each bed was told there are no extra pillows. Carpet was very dirty. The dust on the tables by bed was really bad. Over all wish we read the reviews prior to booking wonā€™t ever be staying again.
